I wish the price to get into the petting zoo was included in the entrance fee. I'd gladly pay extra for the maintenance of the petting zoo. Speaking of which, some of the animals didn't have any shade, nor enrichment. It would been encouraging to see if the cows had posts to scratch themselves. I know the care for such animals is demanding but some of the animals seemed like they needed a little more TLC. The only animals you actually pet are the goats, so it should really be called petting the goats. And maybe the baby cow if you are lucky. On the website it said it was 20 dollars per person and when we got there it was 23 dollars. Some articles online also said it would be 12 dollars. It was a nice experience but everything is pretty spaced out with not a lot of shade. Bring umbrellas!

The farm definitely doubled up on things to do compared to last year. Rides, games and live entertainment. This is the place to visit during fall season. Great pumpkin patch here in Ventura County.

Our company had a field trip at Prancers Farm over the weekend. Some of our participants have special needs which required special care and accommodations. The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. Our field trip representative was Janae. She was extremely supportive, kind, caring, and overall amazing. She took her time with us, and ensures we were satisfied. There were lots of activities for our participants to enjoy. I was also impressed by “Little Man” he is the nephew of the owner. His customer service is second to none. An excellent little guy he was, with great manners. I highly recommend this Prancers farm for your family outings, field trips, etc. Prancers Farm, you exceeded all of our expectations we all, the parents of the participants were completely impressed with your professionalism and customer service. Thank you for making our day Special.

The only reason why it’s not five star as that this year you blocked the adults from coming into where the animals are so that we can watch our children in the petting zoo. We had to pay for two adults to get in so that they could take pictures with their kids I don’t wanna leave them alone in there without an adult. It was much better the way it has been. Please put it back. We come three times a year to this place.

we went in october of 2023 and had a great time at Prancers farm, it was a bit windy but at no fault of Prancers farm. all the staff was very friendly! pumpkins everywhere, the pony rides where just perfect for the little ones and we noticed that they rotate the ponnies so they are not working all day. the cows where wonderful to see and hear. they have rides that take you around the farm, the petting zoo was big enough to walk around and pet the animals, and the mechanical bull was super entertaining....overall it was a very fun day for the whole family!

Cute farm! I went on a week day and most of the attractions were not operational, but I did get admissions to go back over the weekend since I was told it'd be super lively! So many sweet photo opportunities!!!

I say Prancer's Farm located in Santa Paula just off the 126 is a local gem. Aside from the really fun holiday attractions they put on every year, the fruits and vegetables are affordable and that within itself is a win for me. Sometimes, I'll grab coffee and literally show up and just sit there near the petting zoo just to get away from the city for a bit. The 40 acre field along with the mountains sitting in the background really is the vibe. The staff is really friendly and occasionally offers me to try a few fruits here and there. Again this place really is one of my favorite local gems.
