When you order at a kosher Middle Eastern restaurant, what does any customer want? Fresh, tasty food, fast service, a comfortable clean eating environment, and fair prices. I've been coming here for 17 years and, I must say that this place consistently delivers on all of the above. I usually order the massive shwarma on lafa bread, but tonight I went with schnitzel on a toasted baguette with all the fixings -- it was mouth watering and delicious. My wife had a steak sandwich and fries, but she was full after eating half of it. We didn't linger long, it was a week night. We were in and out within 40 minutes. This is not a fine dining experience. This is a place where you go to fill your stomach on something better than burgers for a change.

We loved the food! They are a bit unorganized at the counter, as in where to order, at the register or at the counter. The Decor is not anything fancy, there are no decorations of any kind. The dining area could very easily have been a pizza store. The restaurant is kosher so no worries about dairy ingredients in the meal and your getting the best quality meats. We ordered the Sunrise Pita and a Grilled Chicken Pita. Everything was prepared correctly, tasted great and was satisfying. I think we'll definitely return and hope things are as good as they were on our first visit.

The Food here is always fresh and so tasty. I ordered the Shawarma Baguette and my brother ordered the Shawarma Plate. The meat is tender and full of flavor! I highly recommend if you are considering to try it. They also have great falafel and chicken dishes. But my personal favorite is the SHAWARMA! We have been coming here for years and the food has always been consistent. I can honestly say we've never had a bad meal here. This is one of my family's go to places to enjoy some delicious fresh food. 5 stars

A great Israeli food place. As always spotless clean, friendly, welcoming, and DELICIOUS! Love shawarma platters and other dishes. Always a great place for a takeout or eat-in. Very large portions! The owner is super nice. He spoke English, Spanish, and Hebrew (maybe more languages). I have trued Israeli food in Israel, and when I visited this place for kosher food, I found it to be fairly authentic. My wife liked her hummus bowl. I liked my pita schwarma. The other people we were with liked their sabich, falafel, and schwarma plate.

I had the pleasure of meeting visiting cousins here for lunch today. If you're craving the most delicious Mid-Eastern food (falafel, Shawarma, kebabs), Sunrise Pita & Grill is the place to go. We were made to feel right at home when we arrived by the warm and welcoming staff. We placed our orders and sat to wait for the rest of our party to arrive. The gentleman at the counter came over and offered to lower the tv volume for us. Then he gave my husband complimentary samples of the soup of the day for us to enjoy as we waited. The soup was cream of corn, and it was super delicious. The place is so clean and inviting to sit and enjoy your food. We absolutely loved everything we ordered. All is prepared fresh in front of you, and the portions are plentiful. Can't wait to go back for more!

It truly is disappointing when a place you've been going to for more than 20 years just doesn't live up to their own standards. The pita bread was not good at all. Everything is pricey though that's nothing new for this segment of the market. But when you take away the pickles and the only thing you offer are not good pickled products for purchase it really detracts from the meal. I wish them luck but they are not going to see us as customers anymore. They need to breed some life into that place.

Ridiculous!!! A chicken breast pita was less than 20 gr. Of chicken!!! And the chicken was so dry!! Unacceptable! Unbelievable! The shawarma was taken from a container that is obviously not fresh and was the left overs from many days! What kind of place is this?

Good food and great, quick service. The salads are authentic and delicious, the shawarma was good and thinly shaved, and even the French fries were delicious. The only things I did not like were the appetizers. I got the mix and it was unimpressive (especially the Kube)

We were down in Florida on vacation (from Canada) and staying in the area and were trying 'new things' all week. This restaurant was on top of our list of places that we would go back to if we were ever in the area again. I had never had Israeli food before or even kosher food in general (where we live does not have Jewish people that I know of). We had the large chicken kabob plate and shared it. It came with a mixture of salads. The salads were great and the chicken was flavourful and tender (Turkish tomato salad was my favourite). The pita was also soft and delicious. The guy who served us was very knowledgeable, friendly and made great suggestions for what to try. I am fairly familiar with middle eastern food in general and Israeli food is very much in the same family (hummus, pita, meat, veggies). They even showed us how they have to keep meat and veggies separate as well as the work stations cleaned in a very fussy way as per kosher rules (would be good for vegans!). Anyway, I really enjoyed the place and learned a little about what kosher cooking is all while enjoying a taste of Israel.

If you like authentic Lebanese or Israeli middle eastern food, look no further. It is pricey for the location but the food is worth it. I won't suggest the place for a romantic date, but I would definitely recommend it to hungry friends and family.

Always my go to stop for my shawarma or falafel pita here in broward. Great, fast service. Tastes great! Not much more needed to say. Ate it to fast for a picture, next time! Lol

My 1st time trying Mediterranean food and I enjoyed it! They forgot to include the meats for my entree but rectified the issue as soon as I called and let them know. I will be back again, thank you!

Perfection. Got the shawarma plate. Lamb and chicken nicely seasoned and not dry. Pita bread is perfectly soft and warm. All salads were great- Israel salad and Turkish salsa is a must!

Best middle eastern food I have ever had! Everyone I take there absolutely loves it! The only thing better than their food is their customer service and how they treat each and every customer like family! Highly recommend!!!

I have been coming here for over 12 years.. food has always been great but more recently every time I order the guy in the front smushes my food in a way that it’s inedible! he has a short buzzcut and he’s a short guy. Please guys stop him from serving food!! Or show him how to prepare a pita!! I swear if he’s up at the front again I will walk out. Not only that he’s also rude which takes all the Love out of the food.

Falafals were almost the best I ever had. Only other place better was Amsterdam Falafal in Washington, DC which closed last year. Sunrise Pita is excellent. Pickled hot veggies are a great addition on the plate.

Just ate lunch here. Food was very taste and very fresh. Found a new local lunch spot while working in the area. Will take my wife here in the near future.

Do not go to this place owner or manager or owner is rude and crazy. My sister dosent eat anything but rice and beans so we brought chipotle with us for her well the lovely owner or who ever it was manager told us that is not kosher even though it was just rice and black beans and and that it coudent come inside the store and we explained for like 10 minutes untill he agreed then he said he would put a cover on the table an pulls a piece of rubber from the kithcen floors (yes kitchen floor literally a rubber matt that they step on) as the cover for the table and i sadly noticed too late so we my sister ate on top of that .

Really good place to get fresh food. The hummus is great. It way better than that stuff you buy in the grocery stores. Service is wonderful and staff is patient with everyone

Absolutely delicious food! Service was great as well. I really appreciate that the menu indicates what is vegan so it was super easy to order for me as a vegan. You can tell the quality of the food was very fresh! Prices were fair, as well! We will definitely be back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sunrise Pita Grill, and I must say, it was an experience worth raving about. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the rest of the evening. Let's talk about the food - oh my goodness, where do I even begin? Every dish that graced our table was a culinary masterpiece. The pita bread was fresh and fluffy, the falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and don't even get me started on the hummus - it was like tasting a little piece of heaven. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and it was evident that the ingredients were of the highest quality. But what truly sets Sunrise Pita Grill apart is their exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. They were attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations and making sure that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. In addition to the incredible food and service, the atmosphere at Sunrise Pita Grill was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a casual lunch with friends or a romantic dinner for two. Overall, I cannot recommend Sunrise Pita Grill highly enough. If you're looking for delicious Mediterranean cuisine served with a smile, look no further than this hidden gem. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
