Don't be Fooled by the Pictures Posted on the Site. Those Pictures were Not Taken at the Tamarac Location. This place Needs to be Shut Down. I Wonder What They Do With the Money They Charge the Insurance Companies?? They Don't Even Have Toiletries in their Filthy bathrooms. The beds are Ancient, they are Not Safe, No Rails, No Alarms. The sheets are Yellow,. The Staff are Hanging Out at the Nurses Station talking and laughing while The Patients are Not Taken Care Of and in Need of their Meds. My dad was sent there from the hospital so i know for sure they sent his medical records and they had no clue as to what meds my dad was suppose to take. They were asking me what meds was he taking. I wouldn't Feed My Dog the Food that was served to these Poor Elderly People. I can go on and on with the things I saw at this Place. This Place Is Filthy it Stinks and there is No Patient Care, No Supervision Whatsoever. I Would be Embarrassed to be the Owner of a Place where Humans get Treated Worse than a dog at an Animal Shelter. This is what it Really looks like and these are just a few pictures I took. Don't send your Loved Ones here. It is Not a Safe Place for Anybody. I took my dad Out of there the Same day he was sent to this Sad place!!! LOOK AT MY PICTURES OF THE ENTRANCE and LOOK AT THE ONES POSTED ON THE SITE. The Little Bit of Staff they do have are Unprofessional, Careless and I'm 99% sure Well Underpaid. You Can See it by their Behavior!

It would take me at least an hour to write the horrible things that our loved one had to experience in the long term care area of NSpire Tamarac. I simply just want to say publicly to anyone considering this place for their loved one to please go another direction! They were lucky we didn't call in an abuse report.

DO NOT SEND A LOVED ONE HERE!!!! If I could give negative stars I would. This place is disgusting. And filthy. Don’t go by the pictures of the rooms upfront if you’re taking a tour make sure you see where the patients are actually are. Bathrooms are gross and disgusting bed pans stacked on top of each other oh and they share them (insert barf emoji ) My mothers bed had a huge dip in the middle of it. Not great considering her leg had to be straight .They lie, lie, lie. They told us she would be evaluated Saturday morning knowing they don’t have physical therapists on the weekend. I wouldn’t send a dog here. We took my mother out after two days of them leaving her in bed not responding to her calls. The food is horrifying. DO NOT put a loved one here!!!! And don't ask me if I talked to the manager. You should be providing basic services without having to. EDIT the only bright spot is the lovely woman at the front desk. It’s probably not any of the employees fault but just the culture of the management

I had the unfortunate experience to visit my mother in law in the is facility. I am healthcare professional and found the facility extremely understaffed with limited resources and No communication between staff and family members. I observed patient neglect including with my family member and major patient safety concern. Most of the staff are rude, overworked, non-professional and does not seem to know anything about the patient they are suppose to be caring for. Very limited linen supply for washing patients and changing bed linens. For the week I was there, I had to provide the basic care for my family member since staff was not available. I would never recommend this facility and is working to have my family member transferred out of there as soon as possible.

My mom was sent there and I Took Her OUT the Same Day. This Place Shouldn't Be Open!!! It is Filthy, runned by a Very Poor, Rude, Incompetent, Questionable, Underpaid, Overworked Staff! They are Seriously Understaffed as Well. I Truly Wonder Where These "Nurses" got there Degree! and the CNAs Seem To Run The Show. It Smells like Urine, the floors, the beds, the furniture, the walls, the bed sheets, the bathrooms are Nasty. The bathroom have No Toiletries. The Few Aides they have are always on there cellphones and Made Me Wonder Where They Got There Certification. Patients Have No Supervision Whatsoever. The Nurses, CNAs and Aides are a Joke, Very Scary! They are Clueless and Careless! You Would Think the Hospital Sent All the Medical Records and Medications My Mom Was Taking but Yet The Aide Instead of the Nurse Kept Asking "ME" What Medication does your mom take everyday? Then she's like Repeat the Name of the Medicine Again, then she's like I Should Write it Down. I kept going to the "Nurses Station" asking when was my mom getting her meds and They All Just Looked At Me Like I Was Bothering Them. Oh My God What Kind of Place Is This? None of them seem to Speak English. They Handle Patients Without Gloves. While I was there I was pulled into a room by a family member who had her mom staying there and told me that her mom who was in her Right Mind had called her at 5am because the Aides were trying to steal from her touching her neck and looking through her drawers and giving her the Wrong Meds. My mom suffers from high blood pressure She had been there 4 Hours and they had Only Checked it once. I arrived around dinner time I asked the aid if my mom had dinner and she was like let me find her tray. She Never Found the tray so she then tells me oh she refused to eat. The only Male Nurse that was there who Barely Spoke English and Introduced Himself as the "DOCTOR" then Started Laughing and said He Was Joking that He Was Just a Nurse Gave Me The Chills. I was Blown Away. Very Unethical and Unprofessional! That is not Something You Joke About!!! These are Human Beings Who Need Medical Attention! They Took Off my mom's gown to look over her body My Poor mom Had No Privacy They Left the Door Wide Open While She Was Naked. Please Don't Send Your Loved Ones Here. They Will Be Abused, Neglected and Suffer. This Place Should Be Reported and Closed Down!! What a Shame that elderly Need to go Live there Last Days In Places like These!! I wouldn't let My Dog Stay There. Very Sad and Unfortunate. These People Don't Take There Jobs Seriously. Why Are These Places Allowed to Be Open and Running. I Will Never Understand!!!! I Would Say Run The Other Way As Fast As You Can!

I wish I could give 0 stars.... If you love your family , DO NOT send them here. They will give fake tour of the side that clean for display. The real side for patients is a different world. Facility is full of roaches, and old run down everything. Frome bed to chairs, to supplies. The floors are permanently stained with grout and dirt. Toilets are lifting. From nurses (especially the rude male nurse who walks around in lab coat pretending to be a doctor) CNAs are all rude and i mean tgey even say slick nasty things to patients too. Like everyone hates their job and check. They never check on the patients. Just drop medicine on the table and run away. They don't even want to help each other as coworkers. Get mad when patients ask for things. They let patients lie in dirty and soiled beds because "they didn't go to school for that" . Food is disgusting, they don't even care about diet or restrictions. This place gives Shady Pines a nice name. Only decent person was the nice lady at front desk. You can tell everyone here just shrugs their shoulders and wants their check. Nobody really cares. Shame on that whole place and owners for even responding back to comment and the problem hasn't changed in years. And to charge over $600 a day for a private dirty room in this place is crazy.

Absolutely the worst! Nurses don't give any care and pay zero attention to medical changes in their patients and if you ask a question you get attitude. My mother had numerous infections that required hospital treatment, she Contracted covid in this so-called "skilled nursing facility ". CNA's are cruel and rude. Food is disgusting. Rooms are dirty. The Doctors that came did nothing and ordered no test when she could hardly swallow and now she's dead! No caring or compassion. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. DON'T PLACE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE.

Horrible place to leave a family member, I wish the CEO Miriam Pastor would give more attention to this facility of 50 beds. I understand that is very hard now a days to find qualified nursing aids but at the same time, there are plenty people looking for a job in this field, specially in the Tamarac area. Having only 1 Spanish TV channel is not entertaining at all. Providing regular diet to diabetic patients is not healthy either, when there are whole wheat bread and pasta available on the market. Facility is only open until 6:00 p.m. on weekends when family members have more time to spend with love ones. Most of nurse aids do not have the patience and dedication to the profession. To request a bath I need it to set up a meeting and not even then, they could provide a shower once a week to the patient. If you really love your relative don’t leave them here. You will regret it!

🚨🛑What happened to the Healthcare field?🛑🚨 Most of the staff do not care and just there for a check. My father was there for a week a so and now he's in ICU. We can count on one hand about the people that care. Nurse Reynold or Kennold whatever his name is, is USELESS. The night my father needed his help and is when he disappears. My mother told me, he's constantly on the phone. His response to everything, '"I was coming to do this or that." He evn told my mom to "follow the ambulance to the hospital." You never follow an ambulance because they have on sirens and take red lights. He needs to find another field. When they bring the tray of whatever of the day, they just plopped it on the table and leave. No interactions whatsoever. The PT therapist is good, she should find a better suitable place to work. 0 STAR REVIEW FOR THIS NASTY UNCARING PLACE. and we're told if we want a private room it's $600 PER DAT...WTH? FOR WHAT?!?!?

Run from this place! It's a nightmare. When to visit my mother, she sitting in throw up. Sent her to the hospital per my request. Did nothing and bought her back too that dump. Took take her to a different hospital the next day where she ended up having emergency surgery! This place should be shut down! No one can answer your questions they just give you the run around hoping you just give up.

This doesn’t deserve a one should be a minus 100. Dirty, smelly the personal is impolite talking about the nurses and cna liars they gave me my mother’s chart and they said spoke to the “doctor” on daily basis regarding my mother’s progress first of all mom does not speak English and they did not speak Spanish so how the hell could give a report of my mother’s progress. On Thursday I called to st good morning to my mom and her phone is shut off. I go there no phone is off the plug and nowhere ti be found. I get an advised and gave them some time otherwise I was going to call BSO.after four once I had spoken to every one I had the number for BSO and all of the sudden her phone shows up wet and not working. Bought a new one gave the receipt and they said by Monday my money should be reimbursed. I took my mother out of that place Friday. I got there my mother is sitting in front of the window and crying as soon as she saw me asked me “Please take me out of here”. Same day AMA signed and mother is out. Happy just keeping eyes in a bunch of red spots in her back. IBTW my mother was not supposed to be getting up on her own guess what they found mommy sitting in the chair. My mother had a Guardian Angel. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVE ONES THERE. Dirty place one shower for the wing she was staying at, huge roaches in the hallways, a trash room in the same floor, the airborne people door wide open. They hated me but who cares. I just do not understand how come a place like this has a license to operate. Air conditioner wires are tide up with black tape. Walls disgusting dirty as well as the curtains and chairs. Aides and so said nurses have no idea of compassion

My niece was a resident of this sorry facility for just a few months before her death at age 58. The staff was not very helpful & the worst part was they didn't keep her clean! This contributed directly to her death from infection. She was not kept clean & ended up in the hospital where she died. Then to make things even worse they disposed of her personal effects without giving the family adequate time to retrieve them. I would NOT recommend this place for anyone.

My mom has been there for a bit over a year. When she first was there they actually had decent nurses but now they are the worst they shouldn’t even be called nurses. Food is disgusting and the one in charge Cecile is how should I put it ok useless whoever pays her is throwing there money away. And I just had to put my mom in hospital cause of infection in one of her teeth and I pay Sheridan dental to take care of her mouth. That is also a joke I’m in the process of bringing my mom home. Please don’t ever ever drop your parents or whoever they are by far the worst in the state.

That was the worst experience. After 2 months in the hospital with congestion heart failure. I spent a month there to recover. 50/100 of the people who work there were not professional. There was no one to complain to. The food was terrible. I couldn't eat any of their food due to my condition. They served one food for all, no matter your condition. If you have no one to bring you food, you may not leave there alive. Good luck.. Take a look at the picture. This was what they fed me for high blood pressure, diabetic, when I was there.

Staff is extremely rude to patients; a family member in their care was verbally abused with expletives, foul-language and an abusive attitude. The facility takes advantage of poor elder patients in need of genuine care and kindness.

The staff at this facility went out of their way to provide my father with outstanding care. I thought they were very professional. It certainly is not the prettiest place, but I think that what matters most is how they take care of their patients. It was clean. I don't think the food is terrific, but it could certainly be worse.

The facility has much improved in the last two months. The housekeeping manager is a very nice hard working and amazing person. I can see the floors and so much better from I was last there. Keep up the great job housekeeping team...

My father has been a patient here many times over the last year and a half. He has many issues and this place has been great with him. He is very comfortable and the staff is wonderful with him even though he can be difficult at times, they are very patient with him and provide care and comfort to him

Nspire Nursing Home has a very friendly staff and provide excellent care for their patients. They work very hard to insure their visitors are comfortable and treated in a professional manner.

The care my Mom receives is wonderful. The staff is compassionate, caring, friendly and professional. I’m so grateful for everyone of them. God bless you ALL.
