place

a
morning
walk.
There

greenery
all
around.

here

public
park
was
somewhat
domesticated.

area
devoted
simply
to
green
landscape,
a
salubrious
and
attractive
breathing
space
as
a
relief
from

densely
populated

industrialized
city

the
mid-19th
century,
became
