We drove an hour to pick up some Florida native plants and butterfly host plants. This has to be the largest, cleanest, most beautiful nursery and garden shop I have been to. I however did not find one single item on my list. I was expecting more vining plants and varieties of milkweed. I would recommend it to average landscape gardeners but not butterfly or native garden specialists.

Not safe! Workers and checkout Personnel had no masks... Checkout area is small and enclosed! They have a great selection with very high prices. Great to browse in safer times.

Best place to get beautiful plants at great prices and in great condition. Orphan room and .99 cent table can not be beaten anywhere. Staff the best and always helpful. I now get my milkweed from them and have not had any dead caterpillars. ( problems other places) I can not say enough about this place. Oh yea and it is a nice place to just walk around and sit for awhile. Very peaceful I just wanted to update my review to say this is still my most favorite place to go just to even walk around. I have been to all the nurseries in the area and this place can not be beat. If you want to be treated like royalty this is the place to go for sure. P.S. Thanks Brad you made my Xmas

It's like shopping a botanical garden. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Beautiful and healthy plants. Lots of variety and the well kept grounds are memorable.

It was my first time visiting Rock City Gardens and I was blown away. It’s so pretty!!! There’s a scenic trail that takes you around the gardens and around this small pond. It’s a very photogenic area. They also have a greenhouse section where there were SO many indoor plants! I was worried they didn’t sell indoor plants, but I was surprised at how many there were. If I’m in this area again I will definitely be returning!

What a great place. My wife and I were on vacation and visited after we had passed it the day before. What a treat! The place is gorgeous! I want my backyard to look like this! Beautiful place to spend the afternoon walking the gardens and the retail spots. Definite must see when in the area.

We enjoyed our first experience at Rock City today! The plants are amazing and every member of the team was so knowledgeable and helpful. We purchased a beautiful agave and air plant. As we we’re leaving we saw some beautiful art , fell in love with one. We left , had lunch and returned a few hours later. We purchased 2 beautiful canvas prints that fit perfectly in our new home …. We named her Flora the Flamingo.

We love this place. It’s 7 acres of heaven! The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. The most amazing inventory of tropical plants. We love the way they set up different areas to give you ideas for your landscaping. Highly recommend them!

Very reasonable prices for their plants. They have a huge selection of plants, herbs, and flowers to choose from. A couple quick “nature walks”. We went there looking for landscaping plants but didn’t really find any for sale. Just shorter every day plants. But it was still a beautiful place and reminded me of a botanical garden! Definitely worth the drive.

Beautifully maintained gardens. So many options of greenery, flowers, herbs, planters, fountains amd even a small gift store. All the plants are in amazing condition and very well taken care of. There is a beautiful lake, stream, and fireplaces with seating areas. There is large amd small rocks and ornamentals. Plenty of staff to answer questions. An event area to host a party is in the back.

For beautiful plants or just a relaxing stroll Rock City Gardens gets my vote

Thank you Rock City Gardens for your fabulous Halloween exhibit. For your first year I was amazed. My grandchildren and I really enjoyed our visit and we had so much fun!! From the hay ride on the scary trail to all of the other Halloween displays. There was something for all ages. Huge shout out to your events planner that set up such a spectacular event. Looking forward to next year.

Rick City Gardens is hands down my favorite garden center around. My sister and I came to make a birthday planter for our mother. Being not very plant ourselves savvy the staff set us up with Cameron (absolute champ, extremely knowledge with great eye for design) to help us build out the planter. We learned a lot but never felt out of depth. Cameron helped us make the best decision based on sunlight, placement, and growth. The best part was all the plants were on sale! 10/10 would go again (As promised here are the pictures of the finished planter!)

We were visiting the area, and stopped here because we like gardens, and I like to take nature photos. We were a little leery of visiting since we couldn't buy anything. But no one pressured us to buy, so we could explore in peace. A couple of employees even passed us in a golf cart, and they called out a cheerful greeting. The area they set up for hosting events and showcasing gardening ideas is absolutely breathtaking! We walked around enjoying the beauty and I took pictures to my heart's content. If we lived in the area we would shop here for our gardening needs because it is such a nice place.

Very disappointed this visit..I go there frequently for gifts etc. Today I called and explained to Stephanie who was so friendly and helpful what I was looking for. She told me she could help put something together for me. So I headed there and when I got there she wasn't available. I was helped by another staff member. . He didn't seem to want to put an arrangement together for me. Everything I asked for was a no or not sure. I asked for the rocks in a small planter to be changed. He said he would find out if it could be done and the cost He called me about 15 minutes later and told me the final cost. The price doubled for changing the volcano rock to decorative rock in a small desk top planter. No other changes...Usually the service and the creativity of the staff is outstanding!! I just didn't feel it today. Rock City is a fabulous place!!

First visit but not our last. Beautifully landscaped grounds, plants and pots available for sale, inside sales has decorator items and some gardening tools. Also an event center for weddings. Nice people and enjoyable hour spent there.

I am new to the area and was looking for some plants for my landscaping project. During my interaction with Vicky, her demeanor was consistently rude and disrespectful. I found her communication to be incredibly dismissive and unprofessional, making it extremely challenging to engage in any meaningful dialogue. Despite my efforts to maintain a courteous tone, Vicky's attitude remained consistently unpleasant, leaving me deeply dissatisfied with the entire experience. Her lack of basic courtesy and respect made the interaction thoroughly unpleasant and unproductive.

For all our snowbird friends, this is the place to visit. So many beautiful plants and gardens. We bought a tomatoe plant so we could have fresh ones during our stay in Florida🍅🍅🍅

My experience at the establishment was marred by the unprofessional behavior of the staff. During my visit, I observed an atmosphere filled with constant gossip among the staff members, discussing the lives of other staff members and customers. This pervasive behavior created an uncomfortable environment, making it challenging to feel at ease or enjoy the service provided. The lack of professionalism displayed by the staff was disappointing, as it detracted from the overall experience and left me feeling unsettled about the establishment's environment.

I would like to preface this review by saying I had to postpone my wedding so I was not able to have my ceremony at Rock City Gardens. However, I would like to thank and praise Vicki Green. My husband and I are military and our lives are unpredictable. Vicki was more than understanding and an absolute pleasure to work with. She is also an amazing florist. The grounds are breathtaking and you basically have free reign to do whatever you want. Do yourself a favor and look no further for a wedding venue.

I have only good things to say about Rock City Gardens. From the initial quote & design to the weeks of follow-up maintenance & care, Wade, Kathleen & Juan have been an A+ team of people to work with. We hired Rock City in September, 2019 to re-landscape our front yard, and help us improve our back yard. The install occurred in October, and as we near mid-November they are still following up with us, and our yard looks exceptional. They handled every detail from beginning to end, dealing directly with our HOA, and taking care to check in with us throughout the job to make sure we liked the direction they were going. They completed the work in less time than estimated, and they came in under-budget, and we even got a little more than we originally bargained for. We are very happy with their professionalism, attention to detail, the work that was done, and the value we received for our money. We will definitely continue to use Rock City for our landscape needs going forward. And, even if you don't need landscape work, take time to check out their retail store and gardens - the store is adorable and the gardens are beautiful! Thanks again Rock City!

Hired these guys to do a redesign of our landscape. From start to finish the experience was nothing short of world class. Design was on point. They interfaced with the HOA on our behalf.
