Nice hostel just behind Sensoji temple in Asakusa. Conveniently located, with friendly staff. The hostel is charming, cozy, and with much nicer rooms, bathrooms, etc than your average hostel. They also have a pretty good cafe that serves things like dalgona coffee and cream cheese coffee. Charming drawings in the lobby, and great views of Sensoji temple and the Tokyo sky tree

There is only a shower, but the shower here is not cold! The air conditioner works well too. You can stay for around 2,000 yen, but you'll need to find the cheapest price on Booking.com or Experia. Foreigners often talk to each other, but Japanese people hardly ever talk to each other. That's a good point. Securing a parking lot may be the most difficult part.

It's been a while since I owed the excellent people at Origami a comment. It was an unforgettable experience to go there. Very good facilities, everything impeccable and comfortable. They welcomed us very well and took a photo of us upon check-in, asking of course beforehand, as a souvenir. Brilliant location, meters from Senso Ji in Asakusa. Very friendly, fair price-quality ratio. Super recommended!!!

So we were travelling Japan and decided to stay here for a week because the price was really good. And I'm happy to say we had a really pleasant stay. The staff were very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. They offer a complimentary coffee, tea, toast and croissant for breakfast which is nice. There's a fantastic view of the temple to which is also nice of a night from the common room and kitchen area on the top floor. All in all for a hostel it's very good. Bad things to say, the shared rooms are a luck of the draw depending on who's in there because you could get noise and messy people. And they do have huge tour groups who can over fill the kitchen/common room area and trash it. But it is a hostel so as hostels go it is pretty good 👍

Price was cheapest we could get in Japan and it turned out to be a beautiful place, clean, and great view from the kitchen. Located in a lovely neighbourhood and attended by lovely people.

Nice hostel with tiny dimensions (elevator) but nice personell and useful shared kitchen facilities. Your liking of this place depends on your tolerance for hard beds, which other people are using the shared bathrooms and, if you live like us in the 7.th floor, if somebody decides to dry his cloths at 1 am.... your mileage may vary 😊!

I loved staying at this hostel. The rooms are clean, the shared rooms are pretty quiet, the bathrooms are very nice and the shared space on the top floor is fun to hang around and meet new people. Also the location of this hostel is great! Super close to the shrine and in a nice walking distance from public transport

5 stars for the high cp value. Last time I went to Tokyo for a short stay, with a limited budget I was expecting worse. It's very close to several places of interest and not far from JR stations. The room was a little bit dry in the winter with the heater and some visitors were not respecting the sanitary rules in the shared bathroom, but I still recommend it for low cost.

I think it's relatively cheap in Asakusa, but the security of Khaosan Group is scary. 2 stars because it's too late after something happens.

Great hostel. The rooms are good. I've stayed here twice, the first time was a private room, which was spacious, but simple, and cool through the use of air con. The second time I was in a shared dorm, this is also fine, everyone has a safe storage box, a private bed with a light, plenty of electrical sockets, a shelf and a curtain for privacy. It also has air con. There's plenty of bathrooms and showers, there are washing machines and a kitchen area on the top floor The best thing about this hostel is the location, it's extremely close to a 7-eleven, for food and ATM, and it's seconds away from Sensō-ji, and a five minute walk from the subway.

EVERYTHING. Stay here, no need to think or look further. The staff are beyond incredible and super sweet. They have great coffee downstairs in the morning. My husband + I had the private twin bunk bed room. We slept great every night. The 8th floor has games/hangout area that we really loved. Oh and the place is so clean!

Great hostel for travelers, right behind Sensoji temple. The staff are very welcoming and there's a spacious lounge area at the top floor. The showers are clean and there are several toilets and showers on each floor so it doesn't get too crowded.

Awesome location with super friendly and helpful people working there! Everything was clean and we'll stocked. Close to popular food and tourist attractions. The room type was excellent for my needs. The shared bathrooms were always kept clean.

Bathrooms and showers are smelly. The aeration does not seem very good. There is no curfew so people are noisy at night and they keep lights open very late in the night. It is a good place to do social and make friends, however if you're there to sleep, you will be disappointed by the noise at night. There are curtains that partially hide your bed. Location of the hostel is great. Friendly staff. Nice roof top accessible.

Good location, facilities and rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were large but didn't get a lot of air flowing through them if you closed the curtains, was fine if you left them open though. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Fantastic stay! First time in Japan and it was a great experience. Staff were helpful and friendly, rooms and showers were clean, tidy and simple. Had lots of information available for travelling around Tokyo, like good restaurants, subway lines, and key places. Would highly recommend.

Friendly staff, clean. The futon mattress could do with being a little thicker for me as I found it quite hard on the hips after a bit when laying on my side. I noticed some complain about the smell..... well, that is the matting which is everywhere so get used to it. I think a slightly brighter paint wouldn't go a miss when they decorate next cos it feels a mite dark to me. The showers are great, there are towels for hire. could do with some charger sockets for phones as we are in the age of communication. But overall great location and worthy of the scores Origami is receiving. Would stay here again.

Location was excellent, right next to the temple in the heart of Asakusa. Common room had excellent views. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Free breakfast and coffee. Our favourite hostel in Japan so far

One of five Khaosan group's accommodations in Asskusa area. It's ok to stay here but better service could be rendered in another Khaosan places, because of no breakfast including, no sugar, no milk, and so on compared to other Khaosan places. Maybe less hospitality I felt could be the two consecutive managers are not Japanese. Thus, they are difficult to deliver what Omotenashi means more than strict rules, which dilute the fun part of tourism.

Wifi was hopelessly unusable. As for how slow it is, the speed measured at around 8:00 pm was 190Kbps. Being in Tokyo in 2022, I was more than surprised that the wifi could be this slow, and in a way I was impressed. I was on a remote island in Okinawa a few days ago, and the wifi was much better there. The rooms were just like a normal hostel. As for access, it's a short walk from the train station, so you basically have to go by bus...It seems like the reviews on the internet are very high, but if you look closely, you'll see that most of them are from the Chinese site trip.com. It's very deep.
