I Love AMA! I started out going last year just 1 night a week with my Football Team, and ever since then I have been hooked. I committed full time with AMA shortly after I injured my knee, during my bed rest and rehab on my knee Coach Coleman stayed in contact with me and just randomly checked up on me. No that I been back for 5 weeks the coaches and fighters have been working with me and helping me get my knee strong again. I go 4-5 times a week now and I’m learning everyday and falling in love with this sport more and more. I encourage anyone reading this review to come out and try a class out. Contact AMA for prices, there’s even trial class so you can decide which class is for you. My goal is within 2020 I will be competing.

Academy of Martial Arts is the place to go! Adult or child, Coach Coleman offer the best knowledge in multiple martial arts for any and all ages and skill levels. I was very intimidated when I first started going to AMA, but the instructors and students made me feel like I belonged there. This is the best place, with the best knowledge, and best people hands down!

The main thing that I like about AMA is that people are willing to help you out when you come in as an unfamiliar student. Most gyms who have a lot of people who have already formed their own relationships its hard for them to open up and want to help you because they are afraid you will compromise their work out. The classes really push you mentally and physically and I always leave receiving a great workout. Also you feel like you are apart of the family at AMA.

I've been training here for about a year and a half, and this an amazing place to train. Coach Coleman has extensive knowledge in Muay Thai, BJJ, Boxing and Wrestling. He knows how to put everything together making him a true mixed martial artist. The people here are friendly and welcoming. Whatever your goal is, AMA can help you reach it so come by and give it a try.

Despite the cliché, the culture of the gym is truly one of family. When you join, you're AMA 4 Life. The higher ranks take you by the hand and help you develop your skill set. Everyone is a teacher and a friend. Our teammates are patient, encouraging, humble, and hold each other accountable. AMA is full of good, hard working people to surround yourself with that will in turn make you better for knowing them. Black belt Coach Kentrick is responsible for cultivating this atmosphere. When he takes the time to help you one-on-one, you won't forget it.

Best gym in the area. Large number of highly proficient black belts in each class. Really clean facility, too.

My daughter participates in the kids Mixed Martial Arts class 2 days a week. The coaches are awesome with the kids! They make the kids work hard but have fun at the same time. So glad to be apart of the AMA fam.

Great place to train. Coach Coleman cares about his students and their goals whether it's to get in shape, lose weight, or become a pro fighter. All the instructors are friendly and helpful. There is always someone willing to take time to help you improve and succeed in your goals

👍👍 The people slamming this business obviously didn’t spend any time getting to know Mr. Jackson, the owner of Summit. He cares deeply about his students and his staff and will do anything to make sure they are taken care of. The team at Summit are not only well trained but are there because they bel...

👍👍 It took me about 8 months to step into American Elite because i had experienced a lot of gyms and the dynamic seemed to be very "clique-y" with all of them. I wish I had stepped in 8 months ago, because this is one of the best gyms I have been a part of. I came in for Muay Thai. The coaches are dili...
