    Received a text this morning stating flight from OKC to Chicago was on time. Also received an email a day or so ago telling me to get to airport at least 2 hours early. Got through airport security 1 hour prior to flight then all the sudden we went from departure of 10:30 am to almost 10pm. Then told no connecting flights to my final destination. Customer service checked other flights to try to get me to my destination without success. No flights on Delta or United either. Ended up getting a flight on Southwest thankfully. Last time I flew American Airlines they had significant delays on the tarmac and by the time I arrived in Dallas a group of us had to book It to the connecting flight. They refused to hold the plane by 3-5 minutes as It was the last flight out. Had to spend the night in Dallas and then fly early for work the next night.

    We flew on 4 American airline planes in total for vacation. Each was a good experience. We chose not to pay for seats, to save money and the airline gave us seating as a group since we had a child (which I noticed later they said they try to do on the website which is really awesome to me). They gave my son an airplane pin that he still has on his jacket and won't let me take off. The baggage check in people were nice, let us rearrange our luggage so we didn't have to pay an extra fee. On the plane we got free headphones so we could watch a movie together. Just all around would recommend.

    One week before our honeymoon American Airlines moved our 12:00 PM arrival time to 12:00 AM and provided no compensation or ability to move to a flight that was closer to our previous time without pay hundreds of dollars. Now I'm having to pay extra to change our rental car reservations, and we are losing a day of our honeymoon all thanks to this terrible Airline.

    Worst experience ever! The staff is rude and unhelpful. No accountability and no understanding. Why do they hire individuals who hate to deal with customers. Pay them more so they can come to work with a better attitude.

    The seats are quite a bit smaller. You definitely get up close and personal with whoever sits next to you.But my flight boarded quickly and I was able to pick my seat online ahead of time on their website.

    The silent pilot… Hellish flight on American Airlines 6275, August 7, 2022, 7:07 AM departure, 12:15 PM arrival, from LAX to OKC!! The plane shook side to side jiggling us around forcefully and uncontrollably for 3 hours. I looked out the window, it was clear and there didn’t seem to be any wind turbulence. After over a full hour, watching the stewardess whisper behind the wall, the pilot announced that the plane was having technical difficulties and said he would have to turn the plane around and land, about an hour or so away, in Phoenix. We landed in Phoenix and we were “un”boarded from the plane. After about an hour, they boarded us back onto the same plane that was having technical difficulties. We sat on the plane for about 20 minutes and then they decided to inboard us again. They boarded us on a different plane and we flew from Phoenix to OKC airport. The lady in the seat next to me started to panic and pray; this is how bad the plane was jiggling us around for three hours!! American Airlines is the worst it’s ever been… and it’s never been that great!!

    American Airlines refuses to pay me back for items that were in my bag that was stolen in their possession! After making me check my bag that was within regulations of carry on luggage. My luggage was lost/stolen while given to their staff. It was not my choice to hand the bag over, as it was a carry on size! THEY MADE ME CHECK MY CARRY ON THEN DID NOT RETURN MY BAG TO ME! After taking more than 3 months to offer resolution, they do not want to take responsibility for the camera equipment that helps me run my small business. If anyone share and/or tag American Airlines it would be much appreciated. Clearly they do not value their paying customers' time or possessions and they need to be held accountable!     There are constant delays, but what really frustrates me is that I am still waiting for my carry-on luggage that I was obligated to document because the plane ran out of space on the overhead compartments. I gave an extra star because the staff is really nice and friendly.

    Landed in OKC around 10:30 p.m. after a direct flight from New York City. Our plane sat on the tarmac for 10 minutes while we waited for another plane to pull out. The airport was a ghost town at this point and we still managed to be held up and made to wait. American also has issues with entire rows of seats not having working power points. It is great to stare at the back of the seat I front of you to pass time since you can't use the electronic device you brought.

    Nena, flight attendant on Flight AA4861 from LAX to OKC on 5/18/23 impressed me enough to take the time to write a review. I fly every week and have never seen this level of customer service. Nena went above and beyond for all passengers. I hope this review finds Nena and her supervisors! Thank you!
