The restoration of the bank building is exceptional! Absolute beauty everywhere you look! The hotel side of things could use some work though. Valet and check in was good but it’s when we got to our room that things changed. For this hotel only having been open for a short time, I expected it to be in pristine condition, it was not. Cracked tiles on the bathroom floor with missing or cracked grout, peeling wallpaper on the wardrobe, shampoo in the shower empty and a questionable brown substance splattered all over the toilet seat. Thankfully housekeeping was quick to respond to the toilet cleanliness but we didn’t figure out the shampoo until later. The size of the bath towels are generous and the amount of bath linens provided is good also! The “Mini Bar” prices are quite steep for cookies, crackers candy and soda and room service charges a $5 or $15 delivery fee on top of an automatic 18% gratuity (we did not use it). The overall setup of the room was nice and comfortable but unfortunately neither of us got good rest between the bed’s firmness, the light coming in from the parking garage view and hearing conversation and water running in the room next door. For the price and expectation of this new “higher end” hotel, I would rather stay at another historic, very well known OKC hotel.

I've traveled all over the world, and this is the friendliest hotel I've ever stayed in. I went there because I had worked in the bank all those many years ago and I wanted to go back and enjoy the atmosphere - if it was still there - and it was. Somehow it was as if I stepped back in time. I loved it! From the moment I arrived, the valet service (so helpful), the check-in desk (over and beyond), housekeeping (pleasant and helpful), the waiters/waitresses, and even the other guests. Everyone was enjoying the atmosphere. It was wonderful to go back. I can't wait to do it again.

This was our second time staying at the National. We stayed for two nights. We booked a deluxe king room, but upon arrival were told the AC was being worked on so we were given a standard king. That was fine, though, because they dropped the price and comped us breakfast at Tellers to make up for it. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the building is absolutely gorgeous. The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The bar in the basement vault has some of the most personable staff I've encountered anywhere and is a must-see! We recommend this hotel to anyone we know planning a visit to OKC.

This hotel is stunning and I was completely geeking out on the history of this gorgeous building. I have to say that the beauty of this building still fails in comparison to the hospitality of the Assistant Front Office Manager, Linda Kellar. Open book here, we had been told by the staff in The Gilded Acorn to visit the building while enjoying the day with my amazing husband. So, we were not even guest and Linda was exceptional, so welcoming, kind just an all around incredible human being who truly loves her job and was so passionate about the history of the hotel matching my excitement. She is a treasure to this company and deserves all the kudos from this company, maybe start with giving her a business card with the correct spelling of her name first and then more. We are already looking to book our next special occasion there. Oh and this place is high end, like expensive apartment living, my husband is a vet and I am a nurse we do decent but not high end apartment and she never treated us like we didn’t belong for even a millisecond. She needs a raise and whoever hired her needs one too!

The lobby bar staff is more interested in cleaning glasses than being friendly or serving cocktails. Second experience in 18 months with same experience. Really unfortunate to have such a beautiful atmosphere with such poor service. Won't be a strike 3.

We live in OKC and have really enjoyed having cocktails at the Lobby Bar on a few occasions. The breakfast right beside it (croissants particularly!) was also excellent. We're fortunate to have a place like this in OKC. It's gorgeous and steeped in historical significance.

WOW! This was the best hotel experience I have ever had. Our entire company team was out here from Colorado and we needed some last-minute accommodations. We felt like the biggest pain in the butt, but unfortunately, it is what it is. Every single person we encountered was kind, helpful, and reasonable. The National team is a team you can lean on, and an experience you can depend on. Not to mention how beautiful the building is. Would highly recommend!

Another disappointing stay with the Marriott Brand. Rooms and hotel stink of synthetic ‘perfumes’. Shower pressure and shower head are both bad. Windows in all rooms do not open - so hasn’t had fresh air in.. years I guess? Whatever star Marriott Hotels are rated at, you’ll need to subtract a 1 or 1.5 stars. Common areas look good.

My husband and I recently stayed at The National with some friends and had an amazing experience. The entire hotel and our room was beautiful and we had a chance to enjoy drinks at The Vault and The Archive, dinner at Stock & Bond and coffee and pastries at The Gilded Acorn. The service, food and drinks were all fantastic and we will definitely be back.

The most stunning hotel in OKC! We had our wedding at the First National and from the second we arrived until the second we left we were treated like absolute royalty. The staff is amazingly kind and patient and made us feel comfortable and welcome the moment we arrived. Our family and friends were all treated so well and were so impressed with the space and the service. The rooms are beautiful and extremely clean, the building is jaw dropping with something for everyone to enjoy, and the staff is so, so sweet. We can't wait to come back and visit for years to come!

The National, is a Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel. It was a First National Bank built in 1931.The property is restored to its full glory. The main lobby has a great ambiance. The use of teller counters and other bank furniture is done very nicely. The rooms are very good and cozy. We enjoyed the breakfast at The Gilded Acorn. The staff is good.Overall a very great experience.

WOW! I spend 200+ night a year on the road both domestically and internationally. I am Admiral Elite with Marriott and I get to stay in the swankiest places and I seldom write reviews. This place is amazing! The restoration here is probably the best quality workmanship I have seen in the last 30 years. Their re-design of this bank is simply amazing. I think it puts the Palmer House in Chicago to shame. The staff (Shila and the front desk, Alyssa in the restaurant) seem the really enjoy their work and I enjoyed talking with them. My room is very well designed and super clean. Kudos Mariott! Its great to see such quality in these days of declining service and amenities.

If you want to stay at the best hotel in OKC, this is the one. I have been staying here for business since it opened. I have stayed in every type of room they offer and they are all beautiful. If you can stay in a suite, do it, but all the rooms are luxurious. I have eaten at all 4 restaurants on the premises. The Golden Acorn is owned by Chef Black, the recent James Beard award winner. The Stock and Bond restaurant makes a fantastic steak and offers a great wine list. The hotel is an old bank and when they remodeled it, they kept the beautiful marble in the main areas. You will want to have a drink at the bar and take it all in. Finally, it is the staff that makes you feel like you are at home. My daughter married in May in OKC. I chose to stay at The National for a week. The staff was amazing and made sure I had everything I needed. Whitney, at check-in, and Garrett, valet, are first class. You will be taken care of at this hotel. Cannot recommend it enough.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. They have done an excellent job of maintaining the feel of its original state. We threw our 30th wedding anniversary party in The Mint room and it was PERFECT. It was the perfect space for our group and the staff was excellent. The bartender graciously put up with all of our crazy friends and made great drinks! And, the foot was fantastic! From planning (with Maggie!) to execution, I could not have been more pleased (and, I'm really picky). We also stayed there for the weekend and the rooms were great, the staff was great, the ambience was great and the list goes on. I can't say enough good things about this place!

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, beautifully restored from 1931. Malia ‘I hope I spelled her name right’ was really sweet gave me a quick tour and well informed of the history. The three restaurants areas are absolutely fabulous must try and experience one of them. I personally liked the bank fault for historical reasons, plus fun for all. But they all look delicious

What an experience! This hotel is stunning, it's beautifully done and everyone on staff is so kind and helpful. I love the history of this bank turned into a hotel/restaurant. The rooms are beautifully done, large rooms, fabulous bathroom, clean, comfortable and all your needs are met. Breakfast at the Teller was delicious, only complaint is a little slow service. I'd definitely go again and get a suite for a weekend away with the husband. Can't say enough good things about it, also it's close to some great local spots. My son got a haircut at the hotel barber located on the lower level and it was fantastic. Historic beautiful chairs too.

We came for just 1 night & had so much fun!! The hotel is gorgeous, the room was beautiful. We enjoyed the lobby bar & had the artichokes, delicious. Went to the Vault had the best margaritas & brisket nachos which were suggested by the lobby bartender. Can't remember names but I believe she said she was from South America, long dark hair. We ended up taking another order of nachos to our room. Carl was so informative. My husband is a history professor & thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Front desk staff was awesome! This is our new OKC hotel!! Thank you for a great time!

Easily one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The history of the building is so cool and the attention to every little detail of the design of the space from the lobby to the rooms was impressive. My bed was also one of the comfiest I've ever slept in away from home. Absolutely no complaints - would stay here again and again.

To be fair, I just visited a friend here, but wow!... I'm impressed. This place is first class. The elevator controls are digital, the hallways are nice, the appointments in the room were wonderful. I didn't stay here but my first impression of this hotel was that I'm blown away. Nicest hotel I've been in here in OKC, and the two valets that I talked to were both very nice and really helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The aesthetic of the it all was really quite cool. They kept a lot of fun features from the original bank that used to be here, which was a fun touch. The main lobby area is of course really quite impressive, and the location is very convenient to downtown. I’ve stayed in a fair amount of Marriott’s and was quite impressed with this place

Checked in on a Friday at 5pm, valet was super friendly. Immediately from the moment we arrived someone was there to greet us at the front door and direct us where to check in. Everyone on their staff here is incredibly professional, nice and welcoming. The property is very historic and beautifully renovated. Our room unfortunately did not have a city view, but we also didn’t specifically book a city room and pay the extra price. Our room was great, newly renovated and clean. Will definitely return to this hotel in the future.
