The staff at the Ellison go above & beyond, their compassion, kindness and understanding completely saved a horrendous situation. I had a VRBO booked & when I had arrived the house was trashed, the host had said the location was double booked & I had lugged groceries all the way from Dallas to host a dinner party which was due to arrive in one hour. The Ellison was the only solution for a place for us to stay… when I checked in with Jasmyn I was literally shaking from stress & frustration, nearly on the verge of tears about the situation and she handled my drama like an absolute PRO. She was kind and listened and helped me check into my room with ten minutes to spare before my friends arrived. When I was bringing our bags up to the room the manager Aaron stepped in to say he could offer a mini fridge to help salvage some of my groceries & I could not be more thankful for his empathy. His quick thinking to solve a problem that was not something he “needed” to do but felt compelled to help a guest stuck in a tricky situation & his thoughtfulness is such a rare trait to find these days… I cannot thank both Jasmyn & Aaron enough for all they did. As for the hotel itself! The only room they had available as a standard king, it was on the smaller side but they packed it full of all the amenities to make it comfortable. I loved the modern feel of the hotel, plenty of sitting areas for me and my friends to visit. The entire property was clean, well lit, modern, and most important felt extremely safe. The fourth floor had a beautiful patio area & pool. The fitness center had bottles of water & disposable headphones. The bar was beautiful & had plenty of space to accommodate our friends on their patio. The drinks were ridiculously delicious & the bar staff was as kind and gracious as could be. This hotel has put many little details that I personally find thoughtful in regards to a guest experience. There is a water fountain you can fill up your emotional support water bottle right in the hallway, most hotels charge you an arm & leg to stay hydrated & keep your kidneys happy. The bathroom has the large refillable shampoo, body wash & conditioner with ZENTS body care line - I used to be a lead esthetician for a four diamond hotel, this was the exact line we used and ugh was it an absolute treat to shower with high end body care at the end of an extremely stressful day. Especially being semi crunchy granola… I’m thankful for a hotel that is plastic conscious & refillable bottles save so much from waste being thrown out into the environment. The robes in the room were absolutely plush and soft, they even had disposable house slippers if you needed them!!! We heard no other guest doors open & close throughout the night nor any guest chatter in the hallway & the hotel was basically filled to capacity. I am beyond thankful for the staff here for everything they did to help me and the accommodations here definitely carry through with their thoughtfulness & details during the duration of our stay.

The front desk was very nice when I got there. But I would be also if I charged someone for 2 nights when they are o my staying 1. It’s been almost 2 weeks and still no refund. I have called a few times to check on it to only have someone get rude with me. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

I have not stayed in a hotel this nice in quite some time. Impeccable service from everyone from the front desk to the restaurant. The Writer's Suite was just a beautiful room. We will stay nowhere else in OKC from now on!

I really liked this hotel! The rooms were nice and clean, the pool area was nice, the breakfast at the hotel restaurant was pretty good and had cool vibes and they have a really cool reading area with an awesome bookcase. The only thing I didn't like is they didn't provide the additional items I had requested to be in my room upon arrival. We were only in town for one night and got in late. So it really would have been nice to have the additional towels and amenities I had requested. All in all, I still would recommend this hotel and would stay again when in town.

Never heard of The Ellison. Booked a one night stay for a wedding we were attending. A week before wedding we realized check in time was 4:00 and wedding started at 5:00. That was not going to allow us time to arrive and get dressed. So I called and talked to Wallace. He could not have been nicer and assured me that it was very likely it would work for us (there were several parties staying there) to be able to check in early. Fast forward to the morning of wedding…I awaken to a text from Wallace who wanted me to know that he and Jasmin had managed to secure early check in for all of us. Our rooms would be ready for us when we arrived in town. Talk about customer service. To them arrive and find the hotel itself to be absolutely stunning. Loved everything about it. Will look forward to my next stay at The Ellison.

I recently stayed at the Ellison during a work trip and it was incredible! The room was spacious and clean and I LOVED the small details. The bed was super comfortable and the staff was so friendly and accommodating! It's location is central to anything I needed and I really enjoyed my stay here. Absolutely would recommend!

Absolutely loved staying here, did not want to leave! The Ellison is really beautifully decorated, clean, great vibe, very friendly employees. Comfortable bed, quiet and free parking. Cozy lobby with restaurant and bar and a nice rooftop with pool. Wish we could’ve stayed for more than one night. We stayed at 5 hotels on a cross country trip and this was our favorite. Literally want to go back to Oklahoma so I can stay here again! Highly recommend (and I’m very picky about where I stay)!

Very nice hotel. The rooms are nice, the beds are extremely comfortable and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Then the restaurant Milo has a cool menu and the food is delicious. Again very nice staff in the restaurant. This will be my new go to hotel when in the OKC area.

We were so excited to check out this newer Marriott property. Looked forward to a nice pool deck experience etc. I am Platinum Elite with Marriott. I am not positive but I think the receptionist told me they upgraded our room which is always appreciated. When we walked to the end of the hall, I assumed it was an upgrade since most rooms at the end of the hall are nicer or larger. The room was TINY! Only ONE chair to sit in other than the bed. How ridiculous to invite people to our room and no place to sit. On top of that, a huge pile of trash food from someone sat on the table right outside the elevator from the time we checked in around 3:00 PM and was still there, with addl pizza boxes added, at 10:30 PM when we arrived home from dinner. I’ve had a better experience, and lots more room, at the old Hyatt Places or Marriott Courtyards I have stayed. I am not happy to leave this review but it was our reality.

Remarkable service by all the hotel staff. Excellent bartender after 10pm on Oct. 12. (not to imply they aren't good at other times; I just wasn't there).

I’ve stayed at this hotel four times now and each time gets better. The walkability to restaurants/shops, cleanliness and service are unmatched. Jasmyn at the front desk is kind, proactive and service oriented. As a young woman who often has to travel alone for work, I am extra cautious of booking a hotel where I feel safe and genuinely cared for. 4 stars because when I first checked in I was given a room on the ground floor which was loud and undesirable. 5 stars after Jasmyn’s costumer service and willingness to give me a new room.

WOW, gorgeous hotel. The interior design is spot on. Friendly staff and comfortable beds. Check out the bookcase off the main lobby. I wanted to just hang out there.

Literally an AMAZING hotel! Super new, modern style, and incredibly comfortable. As a Marriott Titanium Elite member, I felt very valued as the Ellison honored the Elite Benefits. We received a complimentary upgrade to the Writer’s Suite, which also had a huge bathroom and bathtub! The Platinum and Titanium Elite free breakfast benefit was solid as well, and included a typical American breakfast (eggs, potatoes, biscuit, meat) as well as coffee or juice. So grateful we got to stay here during our OKC trip!

Very nice hotel. The staff was phenomenal and so was the fitness center (probably the best hotel gym I’ve seen). I didn’t rate five stars because the room surfaces were not cleaned properly and the bathroom lighting was subpar. I couldn’t trim my beard correctly because it wasn’t bright enough and ended up messing it up.

A great place to stay! We felt very welcomed from the start. Joshua and everyone else made us feel right at home! Food and service at Milo’s was great! Highly recommend and we will be back!

Our favorite hotel in the city! Comfortable, classy, convenient, and great service. The awesome rooftop pool with a view of the downtown skyline is the cherry on top.

Lost luggage, moved three times over the weekend (over booking), pet cleaning fee (didn’t bring a pet), gave out my personal info to another guest (shady staff)…… like what the heck is going on here? The build is so nice to have this going on. STAFF! Quit playing favorites. At least fake it and try :)

I would like to share an experience of subtle racism. I have stayed at the Ellison , no problem usually. I will come and have a drink no problem before. This time was a little different decided to stop in and have a drink and have a video conference business meeting. It’s that moment where someone stares at you with a name tag like you don’t belong. My meeting went a little longer and I thought it wouldn’t be a problem to finish my paperwork. I guess not , it’s that uneasy feeling of racism that’s always present. I’m glad I didn’t order a second drink. Side note my husband works there and I don’t bother him , he may come and check on me but that’s it. We understand rules at someone’s job. This time was extremely uncomfortable. That was my very last time I will be there.

The Bar Milo is fantastic and what an amazing Bartender you have Angela. She’s super awesome and makes an amazing damn good cocktail. We had the Bison Spring Rolls and they were Soooo Good! I will definitely be back to try Brunch and the dinner menu looks very tasty!

I stay at A LOT of hotels in my line of work and none of them have been as phenomenal as The Ellison OKC. The staff are so friendly and go leaps and bounds beyond their roles to make sure you are taken care of. The rooms have big windows and are well designed, the gym is awesome, and during the summer there’s a rooftop pool. I wish I could have this experience everywhere I go. I can’t wait to come back and stay here.
