It's a very good local option. Tickets are affordable. This time several rides were down. Can't bring in any water bottles unless they are factory sealed. The place is worth the visit. The lines are short and you can cool off in the water park. Some food options but most of the food places sell the same food. Burgers, chicken or corn dog bites. We didn't buy the season pass because we knew we wouldn't come back for another year or two and we are local.

Obviously a great place to take the family. They don't take cash anymore but have machines to convert the cash into a debit card that you can use anywhere. We only had 1 staff member that was extremely rude to us which was upsetting. Everything is expensive so be prepared. Got the kids stuff from the gift shop afterwards and that was decently priced. Over all experience was good.

Went during heartland music Festival, gorgeous day, lots of shade and places to sit. Some longer ride lines due to lots of band kids. The park has gone to a cashless park, you can put money on a card or use your card, debit, credit for everything. Great food was kind of high priced. Unlimited refill cup, 20.00 was cool, anytime all day refill it for free, we can take it to other parks pay 1.99 and have unlimited refills again all day. The kids running the rides were friendly. Loved the hillbillie shower spot just to get wet if wanted. Hours for this time of year was 11 to 6 it could of been longer hours, we got season passes to all the six flags so will be back, favorite ride was the rapids! Felt good getting wet.

We had a lot of fun but several if the rides were down. Also found food and drinks really pricy. I would recommend bringing sandles to out in if going on the water slides. Walking in wet tennis shoes sucked. We really enjoyed the stunt show and the magic show.

Every time we go to Frontier city we always have a lot of fun. It's a great place for families, especially for kids. This place has many nice rides for different ages, love their dancing and magic shows. You can always take a bite and cool off at Chuckwagon Food Court. Highly recommend this place! πŸ’―β€οΈ

It was fun to do with the kids, it's smaller, but also less busy then most, so we got to do a lot several times. Wish they had more rides for older age style, but it was still fun.

Has gone down hill since I was younger. The rides that are more suitable for adults were closed. The park smelled horrible and there just isn’t much there. The kids enjoyed what was open. The rides had no lighting after dark also which was weird. I expected more from them being under the six flags umbrella.

Fantastic value if you are buying a season pass or membership. Even better value if you're buying the dinner pass with it. But if you are only getting a daily ticket, expect to pay $20 for parking, $12 power meal and $30 for admission (season pass is $50 and you get free admission and parking for a year...) your won't get bored because they constantly change which rides are open and which food is being solved.

We came from out of state to visit and had a pretty good visit. We bought our tickets ahead of time online. The park was clean and the wait times for rides wasn't very long.there were a number of rides closed down which was disappointing and the water park wasnt open yet.the food is extremely overpriced for what it is and the drinks tasted watered down.we paid 17$ for 2 regular orders of French fries and 75$ for 3 of the refillable cups. The weather got really bad and the park had to shut down early. The workers mainly the ride attendants are not very friendly at all and really kind of rude.

We had a great time here. The facades of the buildings to reflect the western frontier were fantastic. The restrictions on outside food or drink limiting you to park vendors went well with the theme as well... it felt EXACTLY like being in a train heist, and I left broke. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Indeed we were 'held up' by hunger in long hot lines (30+ min) that couldn't accommodate the number of people surging to buy lunch at the same time, so we truly related to the Oklahoma land rush. I like to keep a good attitude and so we had a great time regardless (why I gave a good rating). The park was clean, staff was good, rides that were open were fun. But not enough drinking fountains for those who mind rules and didn't bring in our own drinks nor could afford to purchase anything there to drink. Maybe bringing empty water bottles is allowed? There are plenty of faucets for filling bottles up. But the food was EXPENSIVE. And the cash to card stations are a clever way to take more from you than you wish to spend, unless I missed something. We were also bummed that several of the bigger coasters were closed either part or all day. It just doesn't offer enough to cost what it does in my oppinion. But that doesn't mean you can't have a good time here. You just have to understand going in that there are only so many rides, some decent lines you may have to wait in, and limited food items at gouged prices. Otherwise good day. But I'll be honest, I will not likely ever go back to this particular amusement park.

Some of the rides were closed, food and beverages have got pretty high but it’s expected with an amusement park but still had fun on the 4th of July. Would advise getting tickets online beforehand and save a lot of money. Also if you buy 1 season pass you save a ton on parking and entry fee plus you get discounts on anything you buy.

There are a lot of reasons why we visit Frontier City. One, it is close. Two, my kids are still young enough (12-14) to still enjoy a theme park that is just a bit better than a state fair. This Six Flags still has a Tilt-a-Whirl for crying out loud. There is a park (not a theme park) in the small town of Duncan, OK that has a Tilt-a-Whirl as well. But at least they only charge 2.50 for their corn dogs!!! I posted a picture of the menu at Frontier City. Please look at the prices closely. THERE IS NOT A LEGITIMATE REASON FOR CHARGING PEOPLE THIS MUCH FOR FOOD!! Most of the people that go, cannot afford this type of robbery. Who do they think they are, Disney World?? Let’s get back to reality Six Flags. Charge me $8 for a corn dog. I can understand that food items will cost a bit more in a theme park. But $16.99 for a corn dog!!!! You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Bought three season passes on sale which will include the end of 2023 season and all of the 2024. If you are close to Frontier City, buy season passes. Two visits and you would have already spent less than regular one day pass. Plus season passes give discounts on food/merchandise which is a plus since the park charges typical high amusement park concession price for food. And free parking!! The park itself yes is showing signs of age but it is still a great place to take your family. Plenty of rides for kids and adults alike. For the adults, our favorite was the wildcat and for our 7 year it was the Frog Hopper or Frankie's mine train. Enjoyed the Wild West show under a shade structure. The staff is super friendly and do a great job keeping the park clean. Not all the concessions stands were open when we visited on a Saturday so we would have to walk back to a open concession to get our drink refills. Just a minor inconvenience. Overall a great park to visit for the family. Highly recommend coming if you are local to the OKC metro area. We will definitely be back to do the Silver Bullet (closed the day we visited) and other things we didn't do after our 7 hour visit.

We had a blast & a good time - the roller coasters are a bit underwhelming (especially for Six Flags) but I enjoyed what they had. We went on a Monday on the last week of July & there was hardly any lines (most rides were walk on). Staff were very friendly (especially for the gun show). Buy tickets & parking online; much cheaper too

First, I think if you come here understanding some things, you will not be too disappointed. One, is to expect Diamondback to not be running. Two, expect the park to be very small compared to other Six Flags. Three, the park does show its age. But, for a theme park lover or if you appreciate roller coaster history, this place is great. It's perfect if you want some "mild" thrills and nothing super crazy like you'd get at a normal Six Flags. The fact that you have the lower track of Lightnin' Loops from Great Adventure, a coaster that is like one of three left in the USA, is amazing. This interesting-looking coaster is quite surprising once you take a ride! It's a shame it is down a lot of time. My first visit was yesterday, and I am so glad I was able to get a ride on this gem before it closed for the day. The other rides did have trouble while I was there. Gunslinger, Diamondback, and the ship all had trouble. Silver Bullet was down, but that has been down all week so I expected that. The water rides, understandably given the weather, were not running. The only ride I did NOT enjoy and will not recommend if it's cold, is the ferris wheel. The wheel was a complete nightmare with high winds and low temps. Once you got going and stopped at the top, the winds were BRUTAL and SO COLD. Rides, of course, did show their age. The worst of which is probably the dark ride. Some things didn't light up and the sheriff had some mechanical issues - but again, if you go knowing this, you won't be hit with the surprise. Aside from there, a lot of the rides are rusty, have torn seats, are chipped, etc. On to the theme. You have a Six Flags park, but the Six Flags theming and signs are so minimal that you wouldn't know it was owned by Six Flags. The western theme is beautiful. The park is full of western buildings, fake western ads/art, and even a gun show and a magic show (neither of which I had a chance to see). There is no DC and no Looney Tunes, and I hope Six Flags continues to NOT add those to the park and leave the western theme. My BIGGEST PROBLEM with the park that I need Six Flags to pay attention to is this - MERCH. There is NO RIDE MERCH. This is A SIN. The only ride merch was: a Gunslinger hat, kids size Wildcat hat, a (very well done) baseball with pictures of some coasters, and at the checkout was 2 bins of Silver Bullet keychains with names that were mixed up so you'll take a lifetime trying to find your name. The lack of ride merch needs to be fixed. I NEED a Diamondback shirt. Six Flags, you KNOW that you can make better merch. Please, give us coaster or ride shirts for Frontier City!

Great place to hang out with friends and family while enjoy the rides. Lots of option for the food and drinks and the prices are fairly listed. Lots of safety options and a lots of security personnel on perimeter which makes the day safer.

Really good theme park! When here during the Boo fest, they decorated really well! They colored the water green in the rapids (I think it’s called that so many places have different names for itπŸ˜…), the art was really cool, and the food is really good! I will definitely go again!

Giving it five stars because it’s small and there’s usually not long lines for this park. Also, I have younger children and appreciate the area that is geared towards them in the front of the park. They’re doing a cute theme right now for the kids called Boo Fest. They have balloons and free small pumpkins you can decorate and take home!

During an event, it’s worth it. The HalloweenFest made it so fun for my kids. If all the extra wasn’t there for the fest, they wouldn’t have had as much fun and would have gotten bored. Is it out dated? Yes. Are the rides slow and short but fun? Yes. Are the staff great and bathrooms clean? Yes. Everyone I encountered was very sweet and I plan on going during events/festivals. HalloweenFest was great. I donated blood with OBI for tickets for my kids which allowed us to do the haunted houses. If your kids will, watch the shows! That makes it fun too. The wild west shows are a cheesy fun and I’d watch again any day, they did great. 4 stars is just because of what you’re getting for the price paid.

Very fun! Small and manageable! Great experience and felt safe on rides. The rides are a good length so you don't stand in line for to long but not gypted either. Most of if not all the lines were shaded. The staff seemed to care even though they were young.

We didn't get to go on many rides ... My fault didn't check the hours and just assumed since it was a Saturday they would be open at least till 8pm... Not the case πŸ™„ they open at 11am to 6pm. The staff were very friendly even when it was a couple minutes after 6. I want to think them for not running us off.

Being a tourist we showed up thinking to buy our tickets at the gate.... well heads up if you wait they will tell you the cost of the tickets are double the online advertised online, we jumped out of the line ans bought them from out phones. Now for the park inside- you can use the app to help with the line times but they are VERY wrong I'm talking they say 15 mins and you will stand there for 45+. Also the food lines are crazy long why does is like an hour to get through a line that has pre-made food?

Lots of rides for people of all ages. As expected, the price of food and drink at the park is insane. The tickets online when I purchased were cheaper than they were at the park. So buy them early online if you can. Loads of fun and lots of memories to be made.

The employees are truly kind and sweet. All of them were very helpful if you asked a question. The lines weren't to bad. The games on the midway were also lots of fun. Won a couple of stuffies from the break the plates. We had alot of fun.

We had a fun time here. I bought a season pass because it's cheaper than a day pass. Day passes are $80, and the season passes are $75. You can also get into Hurricane Harbor with it.

It's more of a kiddie park but I still enjoy it as an adult. You don't have to have giant coasters and crazy flat rides to have a good time. Highly recommend! You can be in and out within a few hours and that's riding everything. Today I just stopped to eat lunch and ride a few coasters. I ended up riding all of the coasters twice and was out of the park in 2 1/2 hours. Not bad compared to larger parks

Had tons of fun with our massive group here. Definitely kid friendly. Like all amusement parks drinks and food are pricey. All the attractions were clean and running. The best time is on a weekday if you don't like waiting in lines. Would recommend to anyone just wanting to have a fun day out. Rides for everybody big to small. The on grounds water pad definitely helps offset the day heat. So wear your swimsuit. They don't let people wear pants in the water park. Lockers are available to rent. We just wore our suits there and dried out as we went. Highly recommend. A lot of fun.

We went for the Halloween haunts. We had never been there before. We purchased our tickets online. I tried to figure out what we wanted to see with the online map but the map was blurry when I tried to zoom in. The website recommended downloading the app. I downloaded the app on my phone but when I went into the map (in the app) it only showed the normal events not any of the Halloween stuff. The map (in the app) was really blurry when I zoomed in rendering it totally useless. I tried to get a paper map at the park but was told to use the map online. That part of our experience SUCKED!!!! There are large maps randomly situated around the park which can help you figure out where to go but they are RANDOM and you have to go hunting for them. So I am giving this park an experience of 4 stars due to the map experience. I guess I could have taken a pic of the map but they were pretty big. We loved all the haunted attractions and haunted garage stuff and it was worth it to buy the express pass that got you to the front of the line. We would have had to stand for hours waiting to get in the haunted attractions.
