My
family
has
been
wanting
to
try
this
place
for
awhile
now,
and
we
finally
found
time
to
stop
in
yesterday.
I
liked
the
atmosphere.
It's
small,
warm,
inviting,
and
felt
like
an
Irish
pub
(I'm
certainly
not
an
expert,
but
have
been
to
a
few
back
in
NY,
and
it
had
a
similar
vibe).
The
only
employee
I
saw
was
the
waiter,
and
he
was
quick,
efficient,
and
neither
welcoming,
or
rude.
Some
might
like
a
bit
more
hospitality,
but
I
personally
prefer
less
chatty
waiters
like
this
one.
Unfortunately,
we
just
really
didn't
like
the
food.
We
tried
three
different
appetizers.
The
Irish
chips
were
supposed
to
come
with
Guiness
cheddary,
but
had
normal
cheddar
cheese
(we
didn't
realize
they
were
out
until
we
heard
him
tell
another
table
that
specifically
asked
for
it).
The
fried
mushrooms
were
bland,
and
the
scotch
eggs
were
just
okay.
While
the
apps
were
a
complete
miss,
and
very
overpriced
for
the
portion
size,
the
entrees
were
better,
but
were
just
"okay".
The
corned
beef
was
really
good,
but
the
dish
as
a
whole
was
disappointing.
The
cabbage,
while
grilling
it
was
pretty
cool,
and
different,
it
was
overcooked
and
soggy.
The
red
potato
didn't
seem
to
get
cooked
with
any
of
the
other
components
because
it
just
tasted
like
a
baked
red
potato.
My
son
did
really
enjoy
his
mist
burger
though.
He
said
it
was
one
of
the
best
burgers
he's
had,
and
really
liked
the
homemade
roll
that
it
came
with.
