This
was
a
father's
day
dinner
celebration.
A
lovely
atmosphere.
The
staff
was
attentive
to
a
high
degree
throughout
the
meal.
Destiny
our
server
took
care
of
every
want
or
need.
Steven
was
also
assigned
to
our
table,
but
Destiny
took
such
good
care
of
us,
I
think
he
only
had
to
refill
our
wine
glasses
once.
My
husband
and
I
shared
a
lovely
Albert
Bichot
Bourgogne
that
paired
beautifully
with
our
steaks,
and
especially
with
the
reduction
on
my
filet
tips
and
mushrooms.
The
requisite
bread
course
was
basic,
but
the
individual
whipped
butter
cups
were
a
nice
touch.
We
had
and
shared
the
Ahi
tuna
appetizer
which
was
exceptional.
The
wasabi
was
fantastic
and
quite
fresh
and
strong.
There
was
ample
pickled
ginger
to
go
with.
I
loved
that
it
was
served
with
a
lightly
dressed
salad
for
added
crunch.
I
got
the
roasted
beet
salad,
and
the
filet
tips
that
came
with
whipped
chive
potatoes.
The
others
got
filets,
salmon,
and
hubs
got
the
filet
oscar
and
a
house
salad.
We
shared
sides
of
asparagus,
mushrooms,
and
additional
chive
whipped
potatoes.
There
was
an
offer
of
broccolini,
but
it
was
unfortunately
already
sold
out.
The
steaks
were
cooked
perfectly,
very
tender.
Hubs
complaint
was
that
his
house
salad
was
large
and
served
in
a
too-small
bowl
so
he
had
to
pile
some
on
a
side
plate
to
make
room
to
mix
and
eat
without
spillage.
My
only
complaint
was
that
my
filet
tips
with
mushrooms
and
the
potatoes
were
served
in
a
high-sided
bowl
rather
than
on
a
plate,
which
made
cutting
into
smaller
bites
impossible.
The
reduction
was
superb.
Everyone
else
seemed
very
happy
with
their
food.
We
had
a
very
lovely
dinner,
and
I'd
wager
it's
the
best
steakhouse
in
the
area.
I
believe
Destiny
said
the
steaks
were
all
corn-fed
and
finished,
but
I'm
not
100%
certain.
Not
necessarily
a
fan
of
artificially
fed
cattle,
but
they
were
very
tender
and
quite
delicious.
They
had
many
off
menu
specials
that
sounded
very
tempting.
I
had
a
lovey
10
year
tawny
port
for
dessert
while
others
had
cappuccinos
which
looked
very
well
made.
Not
a
cheap
place
by
any
stretch,
but
I
have
certainly
paid
more
for
similar.
The
real
cap
to
the
evening
was
as
we
were
leaving.
I
thought
I
recognized
a
man,
and
at
first
thought
it
was
someone
I
had
gone
to
school
with.
Then
that
lazy
neuron
fired
and
I
realized
it
was
Cuba
Gooding
Jr.
at
the
table
by
the
door.
I
(difficult
as
it
was)
did
not
say
anything
or
disrupt
his
meal
and
group.
I
did
however
fangirl
SO
hard
outside
waiting
for
the
car!
One
of
my
all-time
favourite
actors!
So
it
would
appear
this
is
the
restaurant
of
choice
if
looking
to
impress.
I
would
definitely
recommend
this
restaurant
for
a
lovely
meal
and
certainly
for
a
special
occasion
dining
experience.
