This is a regular spot for me. The rice is a guilty pleasure and has one of the best flavors I have ever had. Tried the Gyros Wrap this time and washed it down with some Saffron Tea. I can’t remember ever having a bad meal or bad service here. Always 5 stars for me!

I would give more than 5 stars if possible. :-) Our first visit to Basil and we were beyond thrilled. We got an order to go and the food was AMAZING! Best dolmas I've ever had and we love Mediterranean food. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. We will be returning many times in the near future.

My family and I love coming to Basil. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is bursting with flavor. The restaurant itself is clean with plenty of seating for all party sizes. There are separate seating rooms too which help with noise control.

The food and service were very good! The rice and kabobs were delicious, especially the chicken kabobs! The hummus was good, but I have had better hummus in other restaurants. I'm not sure what the hummus was missing, but it seemed to be missing something to just bump up the flavor. The pita was light and airy, very yummy! I would also definitely recommend the pastries and tea service; they do this very well here! I would say it's definitely a 4.5! My only hang-up is the building looks a little worn and dated when it came to the atmosphere. This kind of took away from the immersive Mediterranian Cafe experience, but it was clean and comfortable.

Amazing local owned Mediterranean food. I’ve frequented this establishment for a few years and finally decided to leave a review. The cashier was polite and knowledgeable of the foods. I highly recommend the Dolmas and sassafras tea.

Stopped here for lunch before enjoying a day in OKC. We ordered a Chicken Gyro + Spicy Gyro w/ Mediterranean salad. However, my chicken did not seem to marinated as per thr menu description, but it was still quite tasty. The portions of chicken and sauce were generous, so I didn't mind it too much. Overall, our dining experience here was pleasant. I would give this place another chance if I ever find myself in OKC again. 😊

This was my first time here. My friend surprised me by taking me here and assured me I'd love it. Well I absolutely did. The ambiance was great, the food was incredibly delicious, and the pricing was extremely economical. 😋 I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting OKC!

10/10 all around! If you like delicious espresso and a show i highly suggest ordering the Turkish coffee. The atmosphere is so comforting and the staff are so friendly and quick!!! I recommend the kebab salad, hummus appetizer, and the Grilled Kubideh Wrap.

Super good food! I had no idea it was so popular at lunch! Don't freak when you go in the front door and all the seating is taken, there's a whole other room at the end of the line by the cash register. Can't wait to go back and try more things.

This place is quickly becoming one of my favorite local spots. The food is served quick and is always good, the service is insanely friendly and the atmosphere is absolutely splendid. Really is a gem hidden in plain sight right on 23rd.

I had the kibideh kabob and cardamom tea. It was all excellent. Rice was delicious. The meat was seasoned and cooked properly. Excellent condition Persian restaurant.

Decor and food, A1! Not the the fanciest restaurant, but the food is phenomenal in taste, texture, presentation, and freshness. The staff are happy to be here, no one is unhappy. Very pleased with meal and prices. And saffron tea is great.

My husband and I love this place! We always get their tea, the saffron honey is AMAZING. Ive always gotten the chicken bandarri but recently I tried the Lamb Shank. Delicious! Great place for children! Prices are reasonable!

Wow! Real Mediterranean food! They have this amazing Turkish coffee that they cook in front of you. I was very excited! It tastes nothing like our coffee, and a lot of caffeine. I had lamb and saffron rice that was seasoned and cooked to perfection! These people are amazing cooks! You can't go wrong with any dish you choose. Everyone in our group was happy with their choice. I went with a large group. There is plenty of seating available. You pay at the counter and seat yourself with a number. A server will come find your number and wait on you. It was a nice atmosphere. We had a great time!

We got the spicy gyro sandwich and spicy chicken gyro sandwich, with a side of fries as take-out. Very tasty. Good value. The guy at the counter where I picked up was very courteous and took a lot of pride in the restaurant, which you love to see. I just went in and out, but it looked clean and orderly and the staff was working together to get the lunch rush done like a functional team. I showed up a little before they said my food would be ready, and it was ready - hot and fresh when I got home. This seems to be a well-run restaurant with good quality and value. They were pretty busy, too, but I didn't have to wait at all.

Basil is always my go to restaurant when I want authentic Mediterranean cuisine. The staff is always friendly and the food is always good. The tea ☕️ is always good too

Awesome. Best humus I think I've had. The chicken and beef kabobs had amazing flavor. The chicken was moist and tender. The beef was a bit gristly but still tasted good. The gyros was good, not amazing. The rice was very good as well. The interior is sort of what you'd expect, sort of authentic decor slapped over a corporate fast food chain architecture. But you don't go here for the ambiance, but for the food. Definitely will be coming back. There are many mediocre Mediterranean places in OKC, this is not one of them.

Go get you some good food. They have a wife variety of meals and sweets. I do have to say their honey is by far the best honey around!

The quality of foods are amazing and the staff have great attitude. If you would like to experience middle eastern food I definitely recommend it to you. And don't forget to get some desserts with hot tea.
