Please add arrows to the signs!! I often arrive after dark at my campsites because my RV is a slow Class A gas motor home, I'm towing a dinghy vehicle, and I'm driving over 200 miles between campsites by myself with no 2nd driver. Things go wrong and a 4 hour trip I start at 9:30am takes 11 hours and I arrive after dark. This park needs arrows on their signs. I got lost because the sign for the campground was on the right side of the road all lit up but the actual road was on the left in complete darkness with no arrows, so I turned into a road my gps said would loop me back around, just to find out there's a closed gate set back maybe 75-100ft to where I couldn't see it in the dark until it was too late. You cannot back up when dinghy towing. I was luckily able to unhitch my tow vehicle and drive around until I found my campsite and located the camp host. He was incredibly nice and helpful and gave me a ride back to my RV, lit up the road so I'd have an easier time backing out, and escorted me to my site. The whole campground was empty, so he switched me to a site closer to his permanent camp host residence & the bath house. After that, everything went well.

The park is large and nice. The RV campground was one of the best in Eastern OK: spacious, treed with full hookups! The lake is not a nice or senior compared to other area lakes and there wasn't any nice, easy access beach (though after wading through muddy water, there is a decent one). There were a number of nice trails and a cute little nature center. The gift store could use a little more stuff.

Nice Yurt and camping place. Longhorn is locked up so the 2 Yurts with 1 restroom/shower facility are all very private. Had a blast there!

We got the humming bird yert, small but ok, gets really hot inside even with ac on during the day, and cold at night. Had mice getting in our food inside, had spiders, the beds where hard as rocks. The yert is not worth the money, but we had a private aera around it, put up some tents. Lots..... of snakes in the water and the water was real nasty πŸ˜’. The Scenery was really pretty. Over all about a 4 out of ten.

Wonderful camping experience- but I'd recommend for anyone with arthritis, fibromyalgia, and other joint or muscle conditions- BRING PADDING to sleep on. We camped at The Great Salt Plains State Park prior to this and the ground was much softer- we could still feel it, but my joints and muscles didnt flare up from it- this area has more iron in the ground and therefore, is harder in general. The campsite we were at was at the start of the Dogwood campground, but there are many camping and other lodging options around the state park, as the lake is MASSIVE. Would recommend looking into food and other things to do ahead of time, as we hardly had service in the entire area. Better in town of Eufaula than the state park, but not significantly.

Stayed three nights. Very nice campground, and is probably gorgeous in the warmer months. Showers were hot with good pressure. Spots were spacious and well laid out. Tina in the office was fantastic. I’d give it five stars except that the first site I stayed in was so littered with old garbage that it was disgusting. Who does that? I realize that the park shouldn’t be dinged for what a guest did, but the garbage had been there for quite some time and it was a hazard to my dog or anyone that didn’t have good soles on their shoes. All in all, it was a peaceful, relaxing stay with good cell reception so that I could do some work on the road. Hope to come back in another season!

I and my family visited this state Park in June 2021. It’s huge park with lots of greenery and beautiful lake Eufaula. It has many campsites with lake view and more than two playgrounds for kids to play at. There’s a slowdown at present on US-69 towards the park due to ongoing road work. Restrooms are available throughout the park. The park does not have any entrance fees. Campsite reservations are required and may have some charges. There is a lovelock fountain near the visitor center of the park. Nice place to spend a day or camping.

Loved the stay at the park it was clean well maintained and the park guest road around frequently to make sure everything was in good order. Was unhappy in hearing that the fishing dock is being turned into a bar

Love this place. Only my second time there but the campground is clean, friendly, and lots of room. The lake is great but you have to find a good spot to enjoy the view.

Nice lake. Check in was difficult with counter person. Finding campsite was even more so. No lake access and uneven unlevel space. Stayed one night and moved to Belle Star Campground. Same lake.. amazing difference. and even less expensive. Beautiful sandy beach access at the foot of a grassy slope next to my space. Beautiful. I highly recommend staying at Belle Star over the state park.

We came for the hiking but there is much more to do! There are bike rentals at the office, a marina and the hiking was good! I would definitely return to this park for more adventures!

If tent camping, the sites aren't the most kept up, but rv camping is beautifully done. Ant hills are EVERYWHERE though..

Lake Eufala State Park was a fun experience. It has something for the whole family. We took in some of the trails and then skipped a bunch of rocks down at the lake. There are playgrounds, disc golf, and park areas to cook out at. You can even stay in some of the yurts they have available to rent. It was pretty clean, but we did find some trash in the trail. Also, the hiking is pretty flat, but has some nice wooded areas to explore. Take a fishing pole if you go!

As full-time RVers, we would give this Campground a very high rating. Our site had 50 amp service and water. There was a dump station close by. We used Google Maps to pick a campsite that would fit our rig. It was at least 80 ft long. Easy in and out. There are plenty of roads for bicycling and a decent mountain bike trail. Groceries are within about 8 Miles.

Run down slum part on the south end by Eufaula. There is nothing to do, no bars or restaurants to speak of. Worst vacation spot I've ever chosen.

Nice quiet place for an overnight stay. Small playground but lots of open space for kids to run around.

Clean & Fun overall, 4 or 5 different sites for water recreation, a few repairs needed on longhorn lane but overall great park.

Overnight on our way to Colorado. Beautiful campground. Thought it was a bit strange we would have had to share water with the campground next to us, however no one was there so it all worked out.

Nice cozy place for family retreat. Stay in Yatt is comfortable and pleasant, well maintained outdoor and park . Access to lake is steps away

Went for the weekend with 9 other families. Had a great time!! The kids had a lot to do to keep them occupied and we enjoyed the amenities! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because everywhere I went was dirty and needed to be cleaned before we could use it. It would be great with some fresh paint! We are talking about coming back again next year with the same group...

Overall campground was nice and clean, trees need to be trimmed to accommodate larger RVs. I did not like that they allowed tent campers in the same area...one or two I don't mind, but there were 4 staying with one RV. Sewage hookup need improved as they are just holes in the ground.

As always it's a great place to have a weekend getaway! Good fun and relaxing for the family. And it's pretty inexpensive for the quality of good times and memories you get to make and take away from Deep Fork!!!

πŸ‘ This is an absolutely gorgeous location in Georgia that truly showcases the natural beauty of saltmarshes. The only reason it's not five stars is simply because there really are not very many locations to stay. It's best to come on the ferry, spend the day, and ferry back over.
