The Egg rolls are not "Giant" but they are longer than the regular ones and a little bit wider. There is no Soul Food here. I didn't like the egg rolls because the cabbage wasn't cooked and it was long and stringy. It was like eating hot coleslaw. The cabbage should be shredded then diced, that way when you bite them the cabbage isn't long and hanging like mozzarella cheese. The chicken was small processed chicken cubes or something. The Fried Chicken Wings were some of the best I've ever had in my life. I will always come here for the wings. You get 4 large wings and rice or fries. Please order the wings. You won't be disappointed. With your order you recieve a card to visit a Church and I love that they did that. The establishment is small and homey. staff is nice and friendly It's a great place to have a small party. Check them out. Your food is cooked to order so if you're pressed for time just call ahead.

I had checked out a couple of more reviews from some of my local guide friends. They all seem to be pretty favorable. We were looking for oriental food, and I saw the egg roll, but I should have known better when I saw the word "soul" in it. My wife and I both had the egg roll combo. It comes with rice and a drink. The rice is a chicken fried rice. It's definitely darker and has a slightly different taste than regular Oriental fried rice. I found it pretty good. I'll just leave it at that. The egg rolls were very different. I had the bacon and chicken egg roll. You could definitely tell it had that flavor. The other egg roll was the red cabbage and pork. It didn't have much taste. Overall, I would say that I would rather see this food at the State Fair. The building is small, but Pleasant. There is a huge mural on the wall. It is done by a good graffiti artist. If you go by and try it, do the Cheesesteak egg roll. I did not want it but the lady brought it out for us to try. I have to say it was the most flavorful of any we had. All in all, I'm glad we went by, but I doubt we go here very often.

Try the Giant Philly Cheesesteak EGG Roll. Uhmm they're Pretty darn good! The spicy brown rice was unusual but tasty, maybe over seasoned and maybe alittle dry but decent. Good people, Good Sevice, Clean dinning area....And PEOPLE ...they have a drive thru. Definitely worth it!!! I'll be back to 'Try' different egg rolls. Ya gotta have your #GotoplacesforEggRolls

These egg rolls are really good! I got the chicken, bacon, ranch egg rolls. 2 for $6.50. They're pretty big. Had a 15 minute wait inside for a to go order but it's worth it because they're made fresh. There's a drive through which I didn't find out until I went inside. I definitely recommend this place.

I stopped in for the first time at lunch today and it was amazing!! I went with the taco and okie cheese steak egg roll along with the chicken fried rice and it was a real treat! They are a local and family owned restaurant and it is always nice to support our local community. Give them a chance and I don't think you will be disappointed! I will be back to visit again and try some more of this deliciousness soon! Thanks for a fantastic lunch!

Very unique combination of foods. Enjoyed the fusion aspect but some combinations don't work well. Some flavors didn't come through in the heavy cabbage filled egg rolls. I will visit again and look forward to finding a new flavor combination. The spicy chicken fried rice was excellent. I may opt to just eat that next time. Little slow on ordering since one person covers inside and drive-thru.

Customer service and cleanliness were great. Food tasted fresh. Unfortunately that's all that was good. I got a two egg roll with rice meal. Asked if my to-go order had soy sauce, she said yes. Got to my destination to see I was given one packet. The rice is not your typical stir fried rice. Only flavor I got was pepper. The egg roll (chicken) again was fresh however not impressive.

Service was excellent from the time I called to me going in and placing my order... I ordered the egg roll combo...taco egg roll, and chicken fajita egg roll was the egg roll of the month... tried the taco with and without the salsa...it was definitely better with the salsa... the chicken fajita was really good and they didn't skimp on the chicken...the chicken fried rice was a little too salty but not overcooked... the dessert was my favorite... make sure you get one of each...it was definitely worth it... definitely a great place for small businesses and friendly environment...loved the godly environment most of all... will definitely be back to support

I was blown away. Went to have dinner with my daughter and her husband. They suggested Taste of Soul. I had the chicken bacon ranch combo. Reasonably priced at about $10. It was amazing! And the fried rice is probably some of the best. Kind of a fusion of fried rice with soul food spice. Again, amazing. Staff was friendly and we got our order quickly. I don't think 5 stars tells the whole story. Great experience.

Love these guys, first met them at a food truck down at Myriad Gardens. Egg rolls, chicken rice and dessert apple and cherry egg rolls! Delicious, cool little vibe, great customer service! We will be back!

Whew that spicy chicken fried rice slaps! It's well seasoned and has a spicy kick to it I love. The eggrolls are a bit heavy for me but I like that the inside isnt mushy and it's full of filling. I cant wait to try the wings and waffles next.

Seriously the best egg rolls I’ve ever had! Their chicken fried rice and the spicy fried rice is also amazing! The owner is so nice and sweet! I’m talking, I’ve got a 3 year old son and 2 year old nephew and felt compelled to sweep and mop the floor myself because they got a little bit of rice of the floor. That’s how sweet and amazing this place is! Will definitely drive from Edmond whenever I’m craving egg rolls or chicken and waffles or even catfish!

We have loved this restaurant for years. When we bought today, it was inedible. The owners are awesome, but the egg rolls are not the same. The flavor of the rice has changed too. The rice has an odd flavor. I got the taco and the okie steak, and my spouse got the Chicken Bacon Ranch. Neither of us could eat our meal. We live too far to return to the store. Perhaps it was an off day, but I cannot recommend this, or at least what egg rolls we got. Sorry.

This place is a hidden gem. Egg rolls are unique and delicious. All kinds of combinations. I had Philly cheese steak and taco, served with fried rice. Really good.
