This was my second stay at this location. I went to check-in and there was a power outage, which I understand can’t be helped. I was kind of disappointed because I had planned on getting ready for my evening plans, but couldn’t because I couldn’t see to use the mirror or use the dryer/hair curler, so I had to go to dinner at 3:45 as-is. Also, I left at 9:30 and there wasn’t anymore hot food left. However, my real concern is that there, at least on the second floor, is no emergency lighting (I didn’t notice on the first floor because there are windows). The entire floor was pitch black- me and the receptionist, who was very kind, had to use our phone lights to get to my room. I don’t think there were any lit exit signs either. I am pretty sure the law requires hotels to have emergency lighting for guest safety. Seriously, if there was a fire while the power was out, people would die without that lighting, because first, they’d have no idea where the stairs are in the first place and even if you did, you’d couldn’t get there. Please contact corporate and get this fixed.

100% would stay here again. Our room was very clean and the bed was the comfiest hotel bed I've ever slept in. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was also pretty good. The pool was nice and refreshing.

I stayed here because reviews said it was a very clean place. It wasn't. The bathroom was hairy -- and they didn't belong to me. The breakfast was very, very, very simple. The staff would not even say 'hi' to you when they passed you in the hall or lobby. If the bed wasn't clean and comfortable, I would only give it one star.

From the staff, to the cleanliness, to the city, I loved everything about this place. Not a 5star hotel, but it's clean, spacious, comfortable, and highly accommodating. They are right next door to the mall too!!! Obviously that's where I spent most of my time, but it was too perfect to pass up! Also, the view of OKC from here makes you fall in love. It did for me at least. The folk are so friendly, and straight forward. Great place to be.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at avid. This was my first time staying at an avid hotel. The room was cozy and very functional! The mattress was one of the most comfortable mattresses that I've stayed on in my life! I also slept very soundly with the blackout shades. I appreciated that the toiletry products available were more natural. This hotel also seems to be conscious of being more eco-friendly, and cleans every other day. Housekeeping did an excellent job with my room, and even added some nice touches to make it more visually appealing. If you're a hot breakfast person, this probably isn't an ideal place to stay (though there are a few already-made hot options). They had a decent amount of choices though, from fruit (bananas, apples, oranges), to oatmeal, cereal, bagels or toast (plenty of spreads available), already hard-boiled eggs, and different drink options, which included almond milk. I was immensely pleased with my stay, and would definitely choose avid again!

First off, I want to start off by saying that the staff was amazing. They did all they could to make out stay enjoyable. The reason I only gave 3 stars had nothing to do with the staff. To start off we had to move rooms due to an issue that was beyond their control. They were accommodating and put us in an exact type room as I had reserved. The reasons are listed below: The rooms are incredibly small. I don't know if it is the layout or furniture but it feels very narrow... especially for the price. The shower is spacious once you are in, however, the doorway in is very narrow. The bathrooms themselves are great. The room was advertised as having a fridge, microwave, HDMI hookup on the TV, coffee maker, and your bathroom essentials. It had the essentials and a fridge. The fridge was a mini fridge and would not hold more than a 12 pack of pops. I had to get the mini waters because it wouldn't hold the regular sized bottles. It didn't have a thermostat to control the temp inside the fridge either...which was not ideal but it was only for 2 days. I like my water very cold but I survived lol. There was not microwave or coffee maker, except downstairs in the lounge. There was also no HDMI hookup on the TV. We always take our Switch to play and that didn't happen. My son was disappointed. While we were accomodated for the inconvenience of the first room having issues the other issues seemed to be not a concern. Like I prefaced these aren't issues the staff could have dealt with prior if they didn't know. I talked to another guest that said they had the same issues...other than they had HDMI connections. For the price that I paid I would have stayed elsewhere and gotten every amenity that was promised. I was trying a new place and was not overly impressed so we won't be back sadly.

Our 1st room had bugs, so we did get moved to a different room. For the price I didn't care for the, size of rooms are small. It said the TV was supposed to have hdmi hookups on the TV. Our TV had a chrome cast box. The only place to plug in anything was to a square hole, not an hdmi. We were told that maintenance was going to come by and remove the box to see if there was an hdmi plug so we could hook up a game system to play later in the evening. They never sent maintenance to get it checked out. Will not stay again.

Exceptionally clean, super comfy bed with the softest sheets ever, great shower… Very friendly and helpful staff. The perfect place to rest after a long travel day. My only complaint is that we booked a king bed room and they couldn’t accommodate us when we showed up with our dog as they only allow pets on the 1st floor. So we paid extra for a king but got put in a queen room. A bit annoyed by that.

Such a cool hotel! The entrance is modern and inviting, the front desk staff is warm and friendly. We got a room with 2 queen beds, it was spacious and every piece of furniture has a cubby and there are hooks along the walls for your coats and baggage. The bathroom is bright and clean and perfectly accomodating! Love! We stay in a lot of hotels and this one is great! I wish they were everywhere, I'd never stay anywhere else!

Rude staff when I had called and asked for a late check out. She told me to call back and talk to the supervisor, Brenda in the morning. That they're completely booked for the weekend and if she did a late checkout she would charge my card the full amount for a whole other night and still couldn't guarantee I'd have a room. Water pressure sucks, rooms are tiny. Breakfast is no good. Even their luggage "cart" is awful. Never again.

My Stay Nov. 9th - 10th Liked: Never heard of this hotel before but wow. Quiet, modern, CLEAN floors, and comfortable. Oh, and Dove shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. You know, the little things. Disliked · House keeping knocking on my door at 8am.... Let me sleep please! I recommend and would stay again.

This hotel is amazing. The room was small, but cozy & clean. The lobby was bright & accessible 24 hours. The breakfast was great. If you're looking for a waffle, eggs or bacon this isn't that place. There were fruit grain bars, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, Jimmy Dean's Canadian bacon or sausage biscuits, muffins (not recommended), and several juices and coffee options. The staff is REALLY nice. The maids only speak Spanish and are very patient to understand. I enjoyed my stay. Check them out!

We stayed here for a couple nights for alittle mini getaway! The hotel was really good and I loved the design. All of the staff were friendly and made for a good experience. The rooms were clean and the halls smelled good(unlike the musty smell you get alot with other hotels). The rooms are pretty tight and smallish but that would have to be my only complaint. Also, they provided breakfast which consisted of cereals, muffins, yogurt, bagels and that sort of stuff.

This hotel is the perfect place to stay if you don’t care about being downtown. Plenty of restaurants around. The rooms are small, but perfect for people who are just sleeping and changing in the room. It’s a very basic room with no frills but it’s clean and comfortable. There is a little noise pollution from the other rooms or the hallways, but not much. The bathroom and shower were clean and they had plenty of soap. The prices are really stellar even on the weekend, making it really affordable, even when nearly fully booked. The beds are COMFY.
