While eating your delicious treat, sipping on a delightful coffee or tea... I want you to remember that I witnessed the cafe manager, SHELBY, drop an entire box of blueberry scones on the ground, then pick them up, put them back in the box and then put them out in the display case for you all to eat. Enjoy! I don't think I've worked at a more disgusting food establishment. Having the managers get onto me about dress code, but then the literal next day they both were out of dress code. Having my cafe manager tell me, "Heidi (store manager) picks and chooses whenever dress code is a problem." And that she did! If you work in the cafe and an event occurs where you need to hide, there is nowhere. There is literally not a single place for you to go if you need to get away. You will be trapped in the cafe. if you work in the cafe and there is a fire, good luck! All of the extinguishers that I read were expired. I had multiple employees come to the cafe and take advantage of me, getting themselves free drinks and food because what am I going to do? Tattle on them? I am now, considering I don't have to deal with the wrath of coworkers who don't like being told no. Dominick being one of those people, other names I genuinely can't remember. If you're ever in line at the cafe and you're wondering where anyone is, don't worry, they are just behind those doors filming tiktoks. Horrible place to work; I only made 11 an hour. If you work in the cafe and you need backup, good luck getting someone to come back there and help you. It has to say something about a store manager whenever they come into the cafe, don't wash their hands, and start taking orders with no clue what the customers are even saying, because the store manager was not trained in the cafe at all. Consistently there would be issues with the plumbing where the sanitizer wouldn't work, toilets wouldn't flush, and water (occasionally sewage) would come up out of the drains in the bathrooms. If it ever smells really bad, that is why. Because there's literal poop in the plumbing that won't go down and just keeps coming back up. Below are the only two things I have saved from back then; a video showing how well the plumbing works (it hardly does), and the second image being that of the air conditioning. Hardly anything ever gets cleaned or sanitized. Lastly, if you ever get a job here, I implore you to take a tour and really look around before you start. Employees blamed me for the way things had been since before I started, so make a list of what you see. Pictures would be better. Or better yet, work at a cafe or bookstore where they actually care about their employees. Thank you for reading.

I always enjoy spending time at Barnes and Noble. They keep a great variety of books and I was able to purchase the one that I needed.

It's a clean store when they aren't serving homeless people coffee in the cafe. It's normal and calm when they aren't political. The employees are helpful, but many of them have so many piercings it's gross to look at. I'm all for piercings, but there is a limit on what is appropriate vs strange. I don't know how they stay in business. My guess is, it's a tax write-off for the company.

I go to Barnes & Noble maybe once a year if that. As of 2022, I've been wanting to actively read more. I had seen on tiktok there was a 50% off all hardcover books and could not miss it. The store itself is nice, as usual, and It's enjoyable to get a drink at the Starbucks inside. It's impressive how much of a selection they have, from Manga to ancient history. I was not disappointed at all and found many books I've been interested in reading.

Just wanted to give an Honest Review. The U.S. History Section does not contain a whole lot of first hand accounts, such as LOA Books, mostly Secondary Source Commentary. The current affairs section is mostly Leftist, Liberal Slanted Commentary, and not many actual facts; definitely no second opinions from the opposite side either. It would definitely be nice to enjoy more primary sources in the choices of Non-fiction books at this location.

We had an excellent experience visiting this Barnes and Noble location today. We were there on a mission to stock up a small bookshelf with books a bit more visually appealing than our worn collection. When the team working took note of what we were doing, they enthusiastically made suggestions after taking note of our interest. We left with a great combination of familiar and new adventures. Their excitement for literature was absolutely contagious. We wish we took note of their names to thank them more directly, but our kudos go out to the Saturday night squad.

The gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable and very friendly. He truly seemed to enjoy his job and helping people. I needed help with an author that I was not familiar with, it was a series of books that my daughter wanted for her birthday. Plus, I just love the smell of real books. For that reason, I'll probably never buy a Kindle.

We love Barnes and Noble. It's quiet, they have a great selection, and they allow our cat to visit. Highly recommend!

Loved this store. It's very difficult to find the graphic novel Stone Fruit, I've been looking for several weeks. This is the first I've seen it, and they had multiple copies. I love their banned books display and their games selection, and one of the employees in the history section was super helpful in finding books on Native American history ☺️

My daughter was looking for an item that was no longer displayed in the shop and there was a staff member there called Kevin who was very helpful. He searched in their system if the item was available and he even went to the back room to find it and luckily found it. He was very friendly and so happy to give us the item when he found it. I really appreciate his efforts. 🙂🙂🙂

Books! Toys! Records! Comics! Honestly it's really swanky (bringing it back) to still have a place to see it touch smell it. Organic. Thanks B & N!

Satisfied as usual. I take some issue with prepaid print requests sent only to my residence instead of the store where I visit regularly. I prefer to be called when the book arrives and pick it up or have that option. B&N does that for me in Texas, but not this location. The explanation is that since the book is paid for, it is my property and they don't want to be responsible for my property. Sounds like a lawyered British East India Corporate announcement. This is America. If a store just wants efficiency in lieu of smiling faces and point of sale transactions, why have a store? Just sell everything on a computer.

Been going to this location for about 12 years. I recently had a hard time finding a book on alcoholism. A guy working didn't make me feel awkward at all and helped me find the book misplaced in another section. He really worked hard locating the book. I love this store!

Got a new Nook as my one I have had for 7 yrs is now not holding a full charge. The price was the same as all those yrs ago. It transferred all my books to the new one and I downloaded a new book titled Rock Paper Scissors. It's smaller and I love it!

I had walked into a section that I was told I could go into by another worker. This guy came up to me and told me that “normally people ask to come back there” and then he shooed me away with his hands. I felt super confused and belittled as if he thought I was a child. I decided to tell another worker about it and all they said was “I’m sorry about that” and didn’t ask who he was or anything. I feel like the lack of customer service and welcoming feeling is what is going to stop my future business at this barnes and noble. Super disappointed.

With many bookstores falling by the wayside due to e-books and online stores it's still refreshing to find a store like the Quail Springs Barnes and Noble. Great staff who are always helpful and the coffee shop and bakery is a nice treat making the book buying experience very pleasant.

I love this place. There's a solid selection of books, gifts, and some stationary. They don't have nearly as much stationary or notebooks/journals as they used to by any stretch, but there are some. There's more board games and toys than ever before. I like to support 'local' stores and have options to go to a store to pick up items same day, so the sometimes slightly higher prices are ok with me. Some prices are competitive/low, while others are not. They don't have much of a sale section like they used to. There aren't enough chairs to sit throughout the store by any means, nor tables. It's incredibly hard to browse books to see if you want to buy them when there's nowhere to sit. I know they probably do this to try to get people not to hang out all day, but they're also making people who want to actually shop have no where to sit... and want to leave quicker. The music has gotten painfully bad. Seriously, the music is torture and sounds like a drowning rat. Or worse than that. It's some sort of country mixed with... torture. For the love of all that is holy, change the music back to what it was in 2021. That music was bad, but this music now (April 2022) makes you want to rip your ears off. It's too loud and the music itself is absolute garbage. It's P-A-I-N-F-U-L music. The cafe is nice to hang out. They sometimes run out of things but it's still a go-to destination for my friends and I. Cafe has some Starbucks prices but doesn't accept Starbucks gift cards nor do they have the full Starbucks selection/menu. The cafe set up is nice and has a few spots to sit in the corner so you can have a little privacy to read/lounge. The wood benches are a nice atmosphere and make it feel home-y.

I like stopping in here occasionally and just perusing the aisles for a good bargain book. I’m partial to the old Agatha Christie classics, but the roaring 20’s murder and gore may not be for everyone. The store is always clean and quiet. The restroom is clean. Cafe is tasty, but a bit pricey. Nothing more than your regular Starbucks prices…I’m just frugal. If you’re anything like me, you gotta hit the back of the store for the clearances red tag books. Always great deals!
