Beautiful
park,
well
maintained.
There's
a
sand-floored
playground
that
has
toys
for
most
ages.
Toddlers
can
enjoy
the
stair
entrance
while
older
children
can
climb
the
"rocks"
with
a
hanging
chain,
or
the
ladders
and
other
advanced
toys.
There
are
7
slides
of
varying
intensities.
There
is
also
a
jungle
gym
with
seven
different
elements
for
lots
of
climbing
around.
There
are
two
baby
swings
and
eight
big-kid
swings.
There
are
multiple
benches
and
picnic
tables
around
the
playground,
but
none
are
covered
enough
to
protect
against
the
rain.
There
are
plenty
of
trashcans.
There
are
large
trees
surrounding
the
playground
for
plenty
of
shaded
areas,
and
nice
lamp
posts
to
provide
safety
at
dark.
There
is
a
water
fountain
nearby
and
a
sidewalk
path
surrounding
the
entire
park,
roughly
two
blocks
long
by
one
block
wide.
The
grass
in
the
park
is
well-kept
and
there
is
a
large
gazebo
with
speakers
and
two
fans
for
events.
The
park
can
be
rented
(and
must
be
for
groups
over
20)
for
a
nominal
fee.
There
is
no
proper
parking
lot,
only
curbside.
Also
there
isn't
handicap
access
to
the
playground
itself.
No
public
restroom
either.
There
are
doggie
bags
provided
as
well
as
a
doggie
drinking
fountain.
