One of my favorite places, I love the view of the lake and the atmosphere is so intimate. A wonderful place to catch up with friends, celebrate a special occasion, a date night, really it’s just perfect for all occasions! The calamari is one of my favorite appetizers, for dinner the salmon was perfectly cooked and delicious, also the tuna is usually sold out its so incredible. Highly recommend trying this place!

I recommend this place right before sunset just so you can enjoy the view along side your meal. The lobster or crab bisque soup is great just ask for them to go easy on the salt. The best dish of our table was definitely the seabass, everyone agreed that it just took things to another level. I would definitely recommend it. All the food was good and the wait staff was very friendly.

I like this place! The service is impeccable, the view is gorgeous, and they have THE best fish and chips. That being said, the crab cakes with the eggs Baltimore / fish cake eggs Benedict were definitely the worst I’ve ever had, see my sad plate. Just tasted weird, possibly imitation fish or crab sticks in there? Strange texture and off-taste. Wasn’t even average, I just couldn’t eat it. My food was also cold, not even warm. I think they made it too soon then forgot about it. I was hungry so I ate what I could- I hate complaining when eating out and find it awkward. They should take those fishcakes off the menu or redo the recipe. Despite that, I will be back and try something else or have the fish and chips! 😋

Beautiful setting and atmosphere. The food was delicious. It’s good to know that if you order the lobster roll, it’s quite small, but the trout was delicious and the views beautiful.

I had a to go order on Monday this week and had the worst salmon I've ever had in my life. It was completely burnt and the driest piece of salmon I've ever had. To make it worse, they left out the side sauce. It's a $33 entree completely wasted. My sons cheeseburger was also charred to a crisp and insanely salty and he couldn't eat it either. We've gone here for years but the food quality has really gone down hill. I called back right away to let them know and a manager was supposed to call me for a refund but here we are days later and no call.

We were cycling, and decided to drop in. This is a must experience restaurant. Very friendly and well mannered wait staff. The food is absolutely awesome. We will back to try the fish with the family. There is a great view on the deck outside of the lake. The score 10 out of 10. Good job!

I ordered the Ritz crusted cod. The potatoes tasted fresh and the peppercorn sauce was delicious. The asparagus was perfectly seasoned. A bit pricey but definitely worth it for the great service, nice environment and clean restaurant. Window seating gets you a nice view of the lake. The restaurant is nice and quiet as well. A good place for a special occasion and just right portion sizes, especially if you want to walk around the lake afterwards and don't want to carry leftovers.

My first time here the food was good. Service was great. I was there for a birthday party. Paul's pasta Linguine asparagus artichokes mushrooms Alfredo sauce and chicken. Lakeside club Ham turkey Jack and cheddar lettuce tomatoe bacon mayo on wheat bread.

We booked a table for 13 in the “private room.” It’s an area by the kitchen. The “private” aspect is achieved with pulling curtains on the windows which was very convenient for pictures. The view of the lake was amazing! Perfect for date night. I ordered the Salmon. The portion was more than satisfying to the appetite. For appetizers we had the chips and dip, catfish balls, and a few more and they were all amazing to say. The calamari batter looked a little darker than usual and was soggy but it may have been that batch only. We interacted with Katie, Matt (or Matthew), and our main server who I regrettably do not remember her name because she was amazing!!!! All drinks stayed refilled as they kept a good eye on our group. They took away dishes as soon as we were done as to maintain a clean and tidy table. Our experience was overall excellent and we will be returning in the future!

The food was great. I'm sure it would have been better had I not had to wait for 5 servers to pass by before 1 finally came over and didn't ignore me flagging them down 🤣I had no silverware nor side plates. Table was so wobbly drink kept splashing everywhere 🤣 never was asked nor received refill. Was never asked how the food was or if we needed anything. Different people took drink order, brought drinks, dropped off food. Then was ignored until I went to the front to pay my bill. Could have just walked out no one would have noticed. Worst service in okc just saying. 😕🙃

I was craving a lobster roll, and Hefner Grill seemed to have the most affordable one in town. It did not disappoint! The service was great, too. There was confusion about our reservation, but they got it cleared up. Then there was a mixup with our appetizer, and they told us it was on the house. We love the lakeside setting and the live music. Would return and recommend!

I haven't been to Hefner Grill in a couple of years and it did not disappoint. Our timing was great and they were not busy. We got a great table overlooking the lake. The service, food, and drinks were very good too. With the warm weather I was thinking a salad sounded good and chose the Seared Ahi Tuna salad and my friend got the Tuna Poke Bowl. It was hard to decide because they have a good selection. The service was great and we even had a server changeover, but it was barely noticed because they continued to check on us and kept our water glass filled (even when we were getting ready to leave and said we didn't need any more water and he filled it anyway). I will be returning and not wait as long this time.

Tried Sea Bass for the first time 🐟 O.M.G.👀 My new FAVORITE fish!!! So flaky, buttery, fall apart delicious! Almost as good as crab meat🥰😍 Cool atmosphere. Had a great view of the lake while we threw down a couple of cold ones!🍺 🍻 🍺 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Highly recommend for a romantic date and top notch quality food and service. Would recommend to anyone and me and my spouse will strongly be back again many times.

The view is great. As far as the food, it was fine. Th potatoes seemed like they had been sitting for a while. Unless they had some special event I don't think I'd spend the money on the quality of food again.

This was the first time we have ever been here, we made a reservation last night for 2:00pm. When we got there we had no problem finding a parking space, we went inside told them our names and our reservation time. We googled where to get fried green tomatoes, on Google it said this was one of the 13 best restaurants in Oklahoma City that carry them. We got a booth with a really good view, we got to see the whole lake. Our servers name was Genny, she was really polite and kind and prompt we got two glasses of iced tea unsweet with Sweet'N low and lemon. I got pork chops with Rockefeller and fried okra, my husband got catfish with red beans and rice and Cole slaw. Everything was excellent, from the hostess that seated us to our server. We will definitely be going back there, it is a really nice relaxing environment and the food is excellent. The price for what you get isn't bad at all, we had to take ours with us we had so much. I would recommend this place to everyone, we walked around the lake after we ate it was so cool.

My wife and I came here on our anniversary. Overall the service was great, when we first came in our waitress was busy and the her coworkers helped us with our drinks and appetizer order. Rarely do you see serving teams assist one another like that. We started off with the Baltimore crab dip as an appetizer. It was pretty good but it could have used just a little more crab in it. For the entree I decided to go with the Pokebowl It was by far the best pokebowl I’ve ever had from the presentation to the the over flavor of the bowl it’s self. My wife decided to get the bayou shrimp, the shrimp was great and the fried okra had a perfect crisp however the rice looked like it was just steamed rice with some pieces of canned corn in it. With it being a bayou plate I’d recommend a type of Cajun rice. Overall we will come back and try there brunch

What a lovely atmosphere as well service. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening dining experience as our server Miss Mirrah was exceptional and incredibly informative. The food was fantastic and Kevin "set the bar" literally behind the bar, recreating a drink from a handful of ingredients one was able to recall. Ten out of ten, highly recommend this eatery. 👌🏼 Thank you Hefner Grill for and wonderful night and outstanding service.

What a great place to visit! This restaurant sits on the banks of Hefner lake. The interior of the restaurant is pleasant and open. We sent in a private booth facing the lake within a large glass enclosure with two rows of private booths. The View was nice. We were there for Saturday brunch. The wife ordered a Bloody Mary they came with a shaker. It was fun to shake our own Bloody Marys. I also ordered a yummy mimosa. The mimosas were very cheap therefore, very dangerous. I ordered the country style eggs benedict and my wife ordered a different type of eggs benedict that I don't recall at the moment. They were both very delicious and the eggs were done perfectly. We arrived to this restaurant about 15 minutes before they opened and there was already a line forming. That says something. The staff was very friendly and came by often. The manager even came by the table once to make sure everything was okay. If you would like a relaxing brunch or dinner with a beautiful view of Lake Hefner I highly recommended
