We love going here! It's a pretty busy spot. Parking is interesting sometimes but they have 3 restaurants over there so it stays busy, especially on the weekends. Lots of people walk here too. Such a beautiful spot to watch the sunset & get some photos while the kids run around too. There are also several spots to go and part at and watch the boats or playground down the road.

If you're looking for a picturesque spot to take in a breathtaking sunset, you can't go wrong with this lighthouse! With its stunning views of the horizon and tranquil sounds of birds chirping, it's the perfect spot to relax and unwind. What's more, the lighthouse is nestled next to a fantastic 10-mile walking trail, which is perfect for anyone looking to get some exercise while enjoying the scenery. After a nice long walk, you can grab a bite to eat at one of the two nearby restaurants, which offer delicious food and stunning waterfront views. Overall, this lighthouse is a true gem and a must-visit spot for anyone in search of natural beauty and a serene atmosphere.

Beautiful place. Could not image we had such a beautiful lake near the city. I would recommend going for sunset. If stay a little longer, you will get to see the “lights” on the lighthouse.

Loved visiting this spot. It was beautiful at sunset. There is a lot of parking but it seems to get pretty busy. There are a few restaurants around the area. Overall a cool place to visit if you’re in that area.

My wife was very happy to see this replica lighthouse that was inspired from a lighthouse from Massachusetts. It reminded me of my visit to my dad's hometown in Massachusetts! The boats in the marina and rocks lining the water was very cool. Plus we saw a mink climbing on the rocks! First time for that!! This is a great place to visualize what you would see at the coastline of the New England area! So cool!!

What a neat idea on a lake in a landlocked state! There’s SEAGULLS ! Ducks, turtles, geese, and all kinds of wildlife around. Great places to eat all around with a clean & dog friendly trail that wraps around it. So windy and people out on the water with wind kites and sailboats.

Amazing place to sit and enjoy the view! Wish we could have stayed longer, it was a bit too hot out the day we went! Still very beautiful!

While in OKC on business, I finally managed to visit Lake Hefner and photograph the lighthouse. Lots of nearby parking for folks who don't want to walk, a beautiful restaurant situated facing it,(I did not try it this trip - I tried a new place in Moore, see my "Crimson Melt" review!), and a great bike trail/jogging path that goes around the lake as well. This lighthouse was constructed in 1999 and is a replica of the Brant Point Light Station built in the US in Massachusetts back in 1746, although this structure is 36' tall, whereas the tower at Brant Point is only 26' in height. There is no public access to the interior of this structure. Sunset photos here are spectacular, and there are lots of shore birds to enjoy watching, as well. I'll definitely be back to get some of those magnificent Oklahoma sunsets with the lighthouse as my subject!

The day we went was hot. But good place. Would be a good one to spent time in evenings.

Cute little lighthouse. Highly recommend the Louie's deli and bar near the lighthouse path.

As a building, it is fine. But functionality is questionable. It is funny because the lake is so small as I could see. Besides there are so many sailboat in marina. Maybe they over-rate the lake on their mind. The bike and run trail is good. I think it has to be more trees than now.

Beautiful area. Walked around a bit to get here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great paved area just for walking/bicycles.

Great place for outdoor walk while the weather permit. It’s safe to walk during daytime and sunset and even early in the evening. You get to enjoy the beautiful lights in the reflection of it on the water.

This is a simple yet beautiful place to visit in OKC. You can’t go into the lighthouse but the location is beautiful. The walking trail near it is lovely and has pretty views of the lake. Plus lots of options for food and drink right close to the lighthouse.

It is a great place to relax and enjoy Sunsets, esp. during summer. There are good restaurants around as well. The light house gets lit up at night giving a perfect reflection. To those who love landscape and long exposure photography, it is the best spot. The only problem is the parking. The place is busy all the time and the parking space is not adequate for this particular spot. There will be an abundant parking on the Picnic spot couple mile away but then you have to walk to the lighthouse.

Have always been intrigued with lighthouses and finally at 67 yrs old just happened across one in St Augustine, Fla on a deep sea fishing trip that got canceled due to 5 ft swells. We were looking for something else to do and saw that there was a lighthouse not 15 mins from us, so my awesome brother and sister in law to my husband and I. I literally cried I was so excited! One of the most incredible things I've gotten to do.

Go early in the morning before the restaurants open. Nice quiet place to place to sit and drink a cup of coffee.

Nothing much to this lighthouse other than to just look at it. It's a nice addition to the lake. You cannot go in. We went during the day, so I Don know if there is a light that shines at night or not. I did see some stringed lights near the top and flood lights in the ground pointed upward.
