This hotel was such a let down. For the price I thought we were getting something really nice. I even paid extra for a balcony and breakfast. Do not bother with that. Balcony has rusted out railing and no chairs. There is a glistening substance on my couch cushions. There were hairs in my bed. We asked for extra blankets that were crunchy. There was toilet paper in my shower. There was just a lot of rust and dirt. It felt really dirty. Pool/fitness area is disappointing at best. Almost nothing was open the whole time here. This was way too much money. I would have been happier at a Motel 6, at least I would have been prepared for the stay.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Waterford for a night, and I can say that it was one of the worst hotel stays I have had. From the malfunctioning air conditioning to the negligence of the staff, my husband and I were left disappointed and frustrated. Let's start with the most glaring issue—the air conditioning. We checked into our room expecting a comfortable and relaxing night, but instead, we were greeted by heat and humidity. Despite attempting to adjust the thermostat repeatedly, it became clear that the air conditioning was not working. It's astonishing that a reputable hotel would allow guests to endure such conditions. The following morning, we decided to bring the air conditioning issue to the attention of the front desk, hoping for a resolution. We specifically approached a heavy-set black woman who works the front desk (providing physical description as name was not given or presented on a name tag). However, despite explaining our predicament, she displayed complete indifference, ignoring our concerns and leaving us unheard. It felt like stepping back in time to an era when customer satisfaction and comfort were not a priority. Finally, the value for money at the Waterford was absolutely atrocious. We expected a reasonable level of comfort and service for the price we paid, but instead, we were met with a nightmare. The experience at this hotel was far from what we envisioned. I strongly advise against staying at the Waterford. From the non-functional air conditioning to the dismissive and unprofessional attitude of the staff, this hotel failed to meet even the most basic expectations. Save yourself the trouble and seek accommodation elsewhere.

This place over the years has remodeled and looks good. I have enjoyed staying here in the past. This time around it was bad all around. Three specific things made it bad. 1- Breakfast experience. The nice waitress got my drink order and I chose buffet. She never came back. It was about 1030am. Even the guy next to me had same experience. He shrugged his shoulders and got up to go to coffee bar and got his refill. 2 - Our room was humid and hot. We called downstairs to report and they quickly sent someone up. I noticed he went into the closet and made a disappointing sigh. Five minutes later he said he was done and fixed it and would take a few minutes to cool down. We left for over an hour. It was still hot and humid! I went into the closet because I was curious. I noticed a badly water stained and heavy ceiling tile. I called back downstairs. They said they would send someone up. My wife was frustrated by this time so we decided to leave and give it some time. As we exited, there were 2 gentlemen at front desk. I mentioned to one of them it was the second time someone had gone up. He very nicely assured me someone was going up and would fix it. After another hour+, we came back. I asked the same guy if it was fixed. He told me it was. When we got to room there was a boxed fan in room! A boxed fan! See attached picture. And it was still hot and humid. I was so mad and frustrated! I called back downstairs to complain. Let me clarify that I got a new room and it was nice and cool. However, here is 3rd reason and reason I will never go back. The gentleman that was downstairs and answered my call said I was never told it was fixed. He arrogantly argued with me on the phone. I finally raised my voice and demanded he stopped being condescending! That was when he finally stopped and got me a different room. I stayed here to run the memorial 5k and volunteer on Sunday. That was the only reason for not leaving. A top level hotel puts a boxed fan in my room and the employee thought it was okay to be snied is unacceptable! Check out picture of A/C fix :-)

Great experience and pleasurable stay. Rooms are very nice and the bed comfortable. Great view from balcony. The hotel is decorated very modern and everyone is very friendly. The only thing I would suggest to make it a even better stay would be to clean the carpet in the room. The room we stayed in had crusty spots all over it. It could use a good cleaning but the room was very clean and decorated nicely. This hotel is located in a great part of town off the beaten path in a quiet subdivision. I definitely saw a better side of OKC staying at this hotel. I really enjoyed watching the aircraft across the sky going to the air force base. Will stay here again. Price for room was reasonable. I also enjoyed the food in the concierge lounge. The guest laundry only has one washer and one dryer. But overall a great experience and recommend this hotel.

I have only good things to say about this hotel, warm and friendly greetings when you arrive set the tone for your entire stay. Impeccably clean in all areas, spacious rooms, quick service if you need anything, (say, pillows). Full bar complete with quick and amiable bar tender. Breakfast not included but they have a gorgeous restaurant serving up pecan pancakes. I love pecan pancakes! ❤ Boyfriend had a waffle with bananas. Yum.

The air conditioning in our room did not work. We were in room 319 on 11/18/22-11/20-222.The circulation fan would turn on but the air was not cool. We slept with our balcony door open. Which was fine but at 2 am we could hear people throwing trash and broken bottles in the dumpster. It woke up my wife and 7 week old baby. I called the front desk to ask if there was anything we could do to make the a/c work and the desk employee was very short and seemed not interested to help. Was very disappointed in our “suite”.

I have to hand it to these people... the weekend crew still remembers what old school service is. From James who will greet you at the door with a big smile and do whatever he can to help, to Mike at the front desk, Serena feeding us ALL DAY :) or even Roger smashing up some the best eggs Benedict I have had they are well staffed with people who want to make your stay the best it can be. Reminds me a bit of staying at the Drake in Chicago. We took over the alcove in the lobby on our deployment and every morning the had coffe and water waiting for us. Served our food to the work area. Just really showed the care. Well done weekend folks!!! Weekday crew was still nice but a bit less accommodating.

I received a message at 11am-noon saying our room was ready for check in since I had requested an early check in. My plans changed and I didn’t arrive until 4-5pm. I was told they had no clean rooms available and there were people waiting in the lobby for a clean room to become available. When I told the front desk about the text I received he said “oh that’s sent to everyone”, that was frustrating. I waited for about 20-30 minutes in the lobby before just telling the front desk to call or text me once the room was ready since I was hungry and tired and needed to just get the heck out of that mess. About almost an hour later I get a text while I’m at a restaurant telling me the room is ready. Not only was it past 6pm, but our rooms walls were thin you could hear everything the couple next door were doing. The worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel.

I don’t understand why hotel employees come around knocking on doors at 9am when the checkout is at noon? Really ruins being able to sleep in. Also, why do they not have the “Do Not Disturb Placards” for the doors? Everything else is great here, beds are awesome, views are beautiful, they just need to figure out how to not disturb the guests before check out time.

The lobby of this hotel was beautiful and the staff was very friendly, however that is where the good experience ends. The bathroom was not clean and there was hair in the shower. There was also something that looked like built up dirt in the shower vent( the vent did not work). The paint on the ceiling was also pealing. 2 of our outlets by the beds were not working. Room service was another issue. Saturday evening we ordered dinner. My husband had to go pick it up because the room delivery was not available. The next morning we tried again to find there was no room service on Sunday. My husband was given 2 tickets for the buffet for our trouble but there were 3 of us. I may be the lucky one because my son, who eats almost anything) described the pancakes as crunchy. Overall this was a pretty poor stay. I brought my concerns up at checkout and was told a manager would call me. This was disappointing because the staff was very kind but would not recommend!!

I’ve stayed here many times while traveling across the country. This is a great hotel. It’s located in a nice safe area that has easy access to the expressway. The parking is safe and plentiful. The rooms and hotel are first class and they have a very nice restaurant and bar in the lobby. Great place.

Very nice hotel. Clean. Quiet. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, from Johnnie(?), at the front desk cracking jokes and asking about our stay, the enthusiastic vallet guy and super attentive breakfast staff... but a huge shout out to AUSTIN who fixed *our* reservation mistake. THANK YOU!

I was so pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this hotel. Usually tournament hotels are pretty average or below par, but this has a lovely hotel lobby, the free breakfast was good, and the restaurant staff were nice. The beds and pillows are comfortable, the air was perfect. The walls --- are like paper. We were next to a room that had a baby, a dog, and a large number of friends visiting each night. I called down to the desk on the second night to complain, and there was no answer (10:15 p.m.). When I told the front desk about it at check out, the person (I noticed she was mentioned in an earlier review) ignored the fact that no one answered and instead focused on telling me it was from our team. (It wasn't, I could hear every word through the wall) There were several teams staying at the hotel, a wedding, and a family reunion... we heard all of them. The walls are thin enough that while waiting for the elevator, we could easily hear someone having some morning "exercise". Overall, I'd recommend the hotel as it's nice and feels upscale and it seems to be in a mostly safe area, just be sure to bring some ear plugs.

Friendly staff, for sure. Room cleanliness certainly needs attention. Pretty thick layers of dust on picture frames, vents and other common places. Handicap rooms do not have adequate shower curtains or offer floor mats, which makes for a situation where becoming handicapped is certainly likely. Parking here is street side or in a back lot. Although not an issue for me, I can see where solo travelers wouldn’t care for the unlit walk from areas of the lot to the front. The text-chat feature in the app is from my experience not monitored. Hours will go by without a response. Any profile settings for Bonvoy guests may also go unnoticed, fwiw. Ice machine on 2nd floor is inoperable. The front desk staff will state the bar can hook you up! (if you have 10-15 minutes to wait, and flag a 2nd/3rd person down) I can see where this may have at one point been a 4-star hotel, but certainly not now.

My family and I were there this Saturday for a wedding. The staff at the reception were nice and professional. James the man that helped us as soon as we arrived took our luggage to the room is amazing only reason I’m giving 2 stars, after that everything went down hill. In between 3-4 pm we stopped at the restaurant downstairs for food for the kids. We sat ourselves down and menus were given but almost an hour passed and nobody took our order until the cook himself came to ask if anyone had taken our order. At that time we were over it half the family had already went back to the room so we didn’t order food. 4 of us sat at the bar and the bartender there has poor customer service left us unattended for a while and when he asked us for IDs we handed them to him and he tossed them back on the counter like he didn’t want us to be there. The rooms were decent could do a little better cleaning the sink faucets and air vents. And forget about saying good morning to the housekeeping lady she will totally ignore you. Sunday morning my daughter and I sat downstairs for breakfast and nobody greeted us or took our order. At that point I was done with this stay we got up and went elsewhere. I did ask for a refund on the breakfast but they couldn’t because I had gotten a package they said. Will I stay here again? Probably not.

Passing through for one night. Location was nice. Down the street from the mall. Lobby looked great and staff was very friendly. The downfall was when my husband and I got to the room. Hair in the sink, vents were extremely dusty, dust on the coffee table, shower was not properly cleaned out, shower head had mildew, toothpaste stains on the sink, window curtains were dirty and one had a white stain. Walls are also extremely thin. To top it off after getting out of the bed the next day I had a bug bite on my leg. Rooms could definitely use some deep cleaning. This hotel has the potential of being better. Wish I had a better experience.

Over the past year, my family and I have stayed here numerous times. We chose this hotel because it is a very elegant hotel and the staff is always friendly and attentive. The dinner in the Ember Restaurant is always good. For this stay, we were a little disappointed. Although not a fault of the hotel, there was either a cheer group or a gymnastics group across the hall from us. The girls in this party were extremely loud; slamming the doors, running in the hall, trashing the hall, and just being loud. My wife told them that they were being loud and all that did was make them louder. The front desk advised they couldn't do anything until after 10 p.m. Perhaps a phone call to their chaperone would have been in order just as an FYI, regardless of the time, should have been made. This was around 9:30. My opinion, this would have been the best customer service option. The photos below show how dirty the room was which was extremely disappointing. I couldn't tell if that was blood or makeup on the curtains. There was stains around the toilet as you can see in the photo as well. I have an upcoming reservation for this property on May 12th and I am considering changing it. On a positive note, and aside from not doing more with the noisy group, the staff is friendly.

What a dreadful representation of our city! The pool water was green and nasty. The fact that it was not functional should have been made clear before we checked in. The air conditioner in our room would not cool sufficiently, but the air conditioner in our neighbor’s room would not stop blowing frigid air. There were very few functional outlets in the room. Trying to get a hold of someone at the front desk seemed an insurmountable task. I will say, though, that Johnny (at the front desk) privided outstanding customer service. The gentleman at the front door (for whom I have no name) was exceptionally warm and solicitous. As is often the case, they “temporarily “ charged us an extra $100 to cover costs that may have been accrued during our stay (of which there were none), but we have yet to receive the refund.

Really enjoyed my time at this hotel! The staff was super friendly, accommodations were nice, hotel has a good vibe, and they have a great restaurant recommendation list! It was central to all the places I needed to be for work and leisure. My only complaint is make sure housekeeping cleans the shower heads and vents in each bathroom once in a while and get your ops mgr to go through each room every couple weeks to check leaky faucets, cause my shower probably needs a new gasket/seal. But I would definitely stay here again!

I had a great stay here for work. I loved the furniture arrangement in the room, with a couch and pull-up desk. The shower was very well put together with convenient dispensers rather than little bottles. I did find it a bit inconvenient that there weren't drawers to put clothes in, but I got by stacking things on the shelf in the top of the closet. It was also odd to me that there was no literature in the room - no information about services, amenities, nearby establishments, WiFi, or anything, I was left either guessing or asking for help on basics. The buffet breakfast was good, but perhaps a bit expensive for what it was - I would have expected a little bit more of a spread for that price. And some non-pork must options would have been welcome. This did not detract from my stay though.

The staff was exceptionally polite, and I wholeheartedly recommend staying at this establishment. The rooms were not only spacious but also impeccably clean. The only constructive criticism I have is the absence of bottled water in the room. Including just two bottles of water would be a minor expense but could significantly enhance the overall experience.

I’ve stayed here a few times and have always enjoyed my stay when coming to town. We attended a wedding this past weekend and the front door attendant, I believe his name was James, was so friendly and helpful all weekend. We rehearsed in the green room and he was even kind enough to provide us with water. I really appreciated his hospitality and wanted to thank him publicly for his wonderful hospitality.

We were in for a tournament and checked into this hotel. We were greeted by Dustin and he lead us to the front desk. After checking in, our room was clean with super comfortable beds! Breakfast was good as well, although the ticketing system seems a bit dated. There has to be a better way to track what you need beyond collecting tickets. Nonetheless, we will definitely stay here again!

I’m not usually excited about a hotel room but I really, really liked the one we stayed at here. First off, the room was super spacious. I’ll include pictures but you walked in to the living room (with a balcony) then there’s a pathway. To the left there’s a space with a nice, big mirror, a mini fridge and a two doors; one is the bathroom and the other is a walk-in closet. You go to the end of the pathway and that leads to a spacious bedroom (also with a balcony). Today was the first day the concierge lounge was opened after being closed because of Covid and the attendant there was so nice and helpful with our breakfast needs. The room itself also seemed to be very clean. Would 10/10 recommend staying at this hotel!

I did not stay even tho it looked like a beautiful hotel. My review is about the Thanksgiving dinner in your restaurant yesterday. It was a major disappointment. The food was sub-par at best. Our reservation was for 1:30. The food, or specifically what there was of it,, was stoned cold,, maybe a Tbls of potatoes, dressing and gravy left and nobody there to refill the food. Prime rib was way over cooked, stoned cold and of course dry dry dry, as was “everything” else. Turkey was good but cold. Besides the quality of the food, it was $55.00 before tax and tip.the shrimp cocktail was good but that was nothing to cook. Our wait staff was very nice and did refill our water frequently. Bloody Mary was only $4.00 which was a good thing because it was not that great either and probably took 20 min to get it even tho the crowd was pretty light. We would not have thought anything about the price had it been edible but it was not. I guess we could have gotten an omelet but who wants that for Thanksgiving dinner for $55,00. Obviously we will probably not be back I’m afraid.

Great place to unwind. I was unhappy about the spa being out of order as I look forward to that at Marriott properties as a Gold Elite member. Quiet neighborhood but close to dining and shopping. Clean and comfortable rooms in an upbeat theme hotel.

Seems nice but the floor we stayed on - floor 2 didn’t have ice on that level even though signs states it does, website says each room has robes when I called for some they never came and I called back 20 minutes later and they told me they don’t have any left. Website says sound proof walls but that was not the case i couldn’t sleep due to noise outside our room ( car doors opening and closing) (doors in hallways opening and shutting) constant all night. I never complain and am really not picky but this was not a great stay, front desk and workers were all really respectful so that’s a plus.

We stayed here 2 nights and overall found it to be nice. It was decorated elegantly throughout, and was clean. The only problems that we had were that the AC in the room did not cool to the temperature that we set it at (which was 60 and the lowest that it would go). We woke up a few times both nights hot (which made it hard to sleep). The gym was okay, but a little outdated. I saw some rust and water damage in some of the hallways on the basement floor where the gym was, but they were not really big. We are traveling cross country so we did laundry and the dryer vent trap was broken causing it to take 3 cycles of 45 minutes each to dry the clothes. I would probably stay again, but ask that we be put in a room with an ac that works well. The staff was the highlight of this place! They are all extremely friendly and we were checked on frequently each day from the moment that we arrived to see if we needed anything - and that part was really great. The customer service there is tip top on every level from the front desk to the top floor. Shirley (who worked in the lounge was so pleasant and friendly to us). Worth the stay for sure they just need to fix a few minor things.

Great atmosphere, great food and bar service, clean room and oh man the bed was SO COMFORTABLE on the 9th floor! I practically live out of hotels 95% of the year due to work and I wish ALL my Marriott beds were this comfortable! Great all around and look forward to passing through OKC again just to stay here once more!

Good not great hotel. Service earned overall 4 stars though. My first room upon arrival didn't have a properly working AC unit and the TV was broken from a party held in the room prior to my stay. The front desk did an amazing job moving me to another room. They even had somebody bring the new room key to me instead of making me go downstairs. The included breakfast was as if nobody was even trying. Bland eggs and potatoes each morning. Residence Inn serves better as part of their included breakfast. I had to stop elsewhere on the way to work which was something I hoped to avoid. The pool area looked like something that should be a centerpiece of the property, but seemed neglected. The room was nice and I love sitting on a balcony at night with a drink before bed, but had to roll out the desk chair because there weren't any outside. The bed was comfy. TV was fine, but the satellite service was very slow to load when you first turn it on. I only watch business news while on travel, but couldn't help but notice how long it took to actually get it on the screen. $15 was obscene for the world's smallest Old Fashioned I've ever been served. OKC is fantastic, but it isn't an overpriced hipster city and shouldn't try to be. That is part of its charm. All in all, I'd still consider this hotel again almost entirely because of the service. The front desk and the gentleman who came to my room to fix things were great.

This is a wonderful hotel! It's in a quiet neighborhood but still close to dining. The property is in excellent shape, the rooms are clean, and the elevators are fast. I know that last one seems trivial but if you have ever stayed in a hotel with a slow elevator you know what I mean. The breakfast is very good here too. The best part is the staff. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and every single one of them greets you with a smile. I recommend!

Fantastic customer service the young man working the counter tonight at around 10 pm on Sunday December 5 2021. He went above and beyond when it came to customer service. Hotel was very clean, staff was fantastic! Your staff is what make the stay you should promote the guy at the counter he was fantastic.

    1) I do not think this hotel was any nicer than the average 2-3 star hotel. 2) The parking is very bad, especially when larger events are occurring. Additionally, the people attending the larger events will overflow into the entire first floor. 3) The breakfast says it is sometimes available to guests, so we walked through, right in front of the attendant, 5 minutes before they closed and got a piece of bacon and a piece of sausage, and were charged $20 per person even though it was not posted anywhere the breakfast buffet cost money, and the buffet had boxed corn flakes. The buffet closed before we were able to go back. In short, the breakfast is $20 and is bad.

I wanted to give this hotel a second chance. I am glad I did. This time around it was a quiet and nice stay. It still got a little hot overnight but I brought my own fan and that really helped us enjoy our stay. It was a pleasant stay and I’m happy we returned.

Excellent hôtel. Felt very clean outside and inside beautiful room. Would suggest a more comfortable chair in room. Sitting on bed or modern and uncomfortable couch does not add to comfort. Attentive staff. Good location for Cowboy Museum etc.

I've stayed here twice now. First time was great - experience at the bar was fun, service good. The room was clean, everything I needed was there. Beds are comfy! Second time I came here I ate - chicken marsala is not traditional. Tasted more like an American BBQ version, potatoes were very dry. Service was very good. I got to my room and my bath mat was frayed and stained, there was no shampoo (I'm not sure what I'd do with conditioner and no shampoo), my mini fridge was not plugged in and it contained old food from a past guest so the room was very smelly. The bathroom smelled as if it had been sprayed for bugs. Now that I'm writing this I'm not sure why I'm giving them 3 stars, maybe hoping stay #2 was a total fluke. I'll update as I have new experiences - honestly I want to update this with an improvement. Redeeming point is that the property has good bones and aesthetically is pleasing and the staff seem to care about their guests.

The staff here is undeniably great. The vibe and ambience was great. We stayed in the executive suite with a balcony, worth the upgrade, the room was very spacious and the beds were super super comfortable. The only cons is that the parking is limited, though it is free, and the breakfast is not complimentary. Other than that, I will definitely be staying here again.

We had an excellent experience at both of our recent holiday stays in November and December. We the staff was extremely helpful and attentive and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We arrived at a busy time on both occasions and the front desk staff was friendly. Upon our arrival in January we ask for a specific location and David S was quick to accommodate our request. We appreciate him very much. He has welcomed us on both of our recent stays and made the process seamless.
