The
hotel
was
in
decent
shape,
and
appeared
clean,
and
orderly.
We
were
in
town
for
the
Bocelli
concert,
and
a
few
other
events
in
the
following
days.
One
of
the
main
reasons
we
chose
Candlewood
in
Bricktown
was
for
its
close
proximity
to
the
downtown
area.
The
other
reason
was
for
its
in-room
kitchenette.
We
stopped
by
the
grocery
store
before
we
arrived
at
the
hotel,
with
the
intention
of
cooking
a
meal
or
three
during
our
stay.
The
kitchenware
was
sparse,
the
stove
was
basically
a
built
in
hotplate,
that
sadly,
was
inoperable.
We
requested
for
our
room
to
be
serviced
with
clean
sheets,
and
fresh
towels.
In
addition,
we
asked
if
the
"stove"
could
be
looked
at,
and
possibly
repaired.
No
one
ever
showed
for
any
of
the
above.
I
was
told
by
the
front
desk
in
order
to
get
clean
towels,
I
needed
to
go
to
the
front
desk
to
pick
them
up.
When
I
went
down
to
pick
them
up,
I
was
asked
to
bring
the
used
towels
back
down😳.
I'm
not
trying
to
deter
anyone
from
staying
at
this
particular
Candlewood...I
just
hope
the
establishment
recognizes
the
few
bumps
in
the
road,
and
addresses
it.
Continued
success.
