    I ordered a few items for my daughter’s room between July and September, including a dresser, computer desk, a chair, and a bed. I went to pick it all up today and find the mirror for the dresser has still not arrived. After bringing the furniture home, I unpack the dresser and notice the wood is busted in a few spots (the side of two drawers, the back area where the mirror is supposed to attach, and the middle leg underneath is completely destroyed. Two of the drawers also will not close all the way as seen in the pictures. Definitely not a dresser worth $815. After contacting customer service, I’m told I can bring it back and wait another month for a new dresser. There’s that but I had to borrow a truck and round up help to get the furniture today and customer service says they could come pick up broken furniture for a delivery rate. What? It’s not my fault it’s damaged. It’s on your end. I’ve already paid and had to wait for the furniture. I have more furniture to purchase, but with that type of service, it won’t be purchased from Mathis Brothers. I will now return the entire order and will shop elsewhere where customers are valued. Update: I have responded as requested in the company's response to my review, and I will give further updates as I receive them.

    We where lied to when we purchased our sectional about delivery. We where offered a few days to pick delivery and chose Saturday. We where told to call Friday to get a time for delivery. They told us it was not going to happen and we had to take Monday. We had already sold our furniture so it would have been a weekend sitting on the floor. I rented a uhaul with no help from Mathis Brothers. Fast forward to getting our lift top coffee table and I get get home and put together and the table top will not stay down! The table top pops up half way if you do not put weight on it. Not okay. I called customer service and have no hopes they will follow through with getting a technician out to fix it. They just apologize and offer no real solutions. I would not buy anything else from this company ever. I will be out money for this furniture till I pay it off and then can sell it and buy quality somewhere else.I wish this would allow me to post a video of it so I can show it popping up so high.

    I bought my first furniture set a month ago now. A bedroom set by Ashley. Two of the three pieces are great, but the dresser had malfunctioning drawers. ALL of the pictures I posted are 4 different dressers they sent me as replacements with damages. I even HAND SELECTED from there warehouse twice. The first time they didn’t send the one I picked. The second time they did NOT SEND THE ONE I PICKED. I spent 3 hours total hand selecting. I’m not sure how they can get this so wrong. I’ve spent a month of my emotional energy and hours of my day dealing with customer service and to no avail. For someone with a slogan of superior customer service I’m sure been put through the ringer. Mathis brother should be incredibly embarrassed! I understand a big part of the problem is Ashley furniture manufacture defects which is terribly on Ashley’s part, but my treatment as a customer is all a Mathis. *note* The pictures don’t even do it justice there were so many more damages and issues than just these few pictures show these are just a few of the details along with broken drawers that are not pictured.

    Walked in the first sales pitch was when you buy a couch here you don’t get this one on the floor you get a new one. So we start looking pay 1400$ for the couch and pillows and delivery, missing 2 pillows and got the couch on the sales floor, and it’s beat up so there’s 1400$ in a pandemic down the gutter, because when I called it in they said no unfortunately this is an “As Is” item, Not what your salesperson said to me. Paid that much for a couch maybe worth 800$ As Is, on top of that our in-laws bought the same one new 6 months ago for 1400$ so I’m super confused. We definitely feel robbed and we had our person tip the delivery drivers.

    I purchased a book case and received it damaged. I didn't have time to put book case together when deliverd since I was at work. So 2 weeks pass and finally got a chance to build book case. I found out it was damaged when I opened the box. I called Mathis brother and spoke with customer service manager about the situation and she said I would have to call the manufacturer that they purchased the product from cause they could not help me and it would only be replaced if I saw the damage at delivery! I don't know how you can see a damaged product if it's in a box and damaged!? In either case this is the worst customer service I have ever delt with when making furniture purchase and just want the public to know if this happened to me it will more certainly happen to you. It would be nice if the district manager would actually read these reviews and truly help his customers if they are truly their priority!

    Came in here twice this month. Once for my friend Kimberly and once for my daughter and I. Have had the pleasure of working with both Lindsay Harris and David Shook. Both of them were great!!! Would definitely recommend.

    Was lied to about the delivery options. We were not made aware of the door step delivery. We were not told that it would be delivered in boxes and that we would have to assemble it ourselves. We would of paid the $60 to have it in our house assembled. Now we just have two big boxes sitting in our living room. I would not recommend using Anthony Clark as you sales associate. Then we called costumer service and told them about our issue with delivery. They told us the best that they could do is get someone out in a few days to put it together and still charge us the $60. We have been a costumer for 21 years at Mathis brothers. It’s nice to know they do not really care about their returning customers. This is the worst delivery we have had from Mathis brothers.

    Sales Associate Matthew Crouse listened closely to what I was looking for today. And he guided us through the store in an efficient manner. Although he mentioned other furnishings and accessories, he was not pushy like many sales people can be, which I appreciated very much. He did run into some issues checking me out, but he was pleasant and professional through what could have been a frustrating experience for us and him. The young woman, who checked me out, was personable and I appreciated her attention to detail. The store must have been experiencing I.T. issues because her credit machine wasn’t working. The one next to it did work however. I’m excited for my recliner and sleeper sofa to be delivered.

    I loved the the salesman we had. His name is Carey!! He did a excellent job in helping us . This is the beautiful bedroom set we purchased minus the bench, we got everything you see here and it looks so beautiful in our bedroom!! I'd recommend going here to find furniture for your house. Sidenote the vanity is lovely 😍 thay comes with this set

    We had a great experience shopping for a new bed! Our salesperson Vivian listened to what we were looking for and helped us find just the right bed. My only complaint is our cashier was extremely rude and made us feel like such an inconvenience during the check out process. Overall though, we love Mathis!

    Loved the young man who walked me around, David Skidmore. He was so friendly, helpful and funny. Because I needed the design studio, Keith helped me pick out and customize my sectional. Keith came to my house and measured and I am so excited about ordering my furniture. Both of these guys are great!

    Had a great experience with Mathis! The people were helpful and the delivery was efficient. Joyce was very kind. Only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because of how long I had to wait to pay. Their system was down, which I understand! I just didn’t feel like I was prioritized as a customer at that time. Waited for at least 15 minutes with no communication.

    Just recently, we have had to make two purchases from Mathis Brothers a few months apart. Both sales people that we worked with, Josh and Justus, were excellent. Very personable and extremely knowledgeable about their products. We found exactly what we needed in our price point. The items are both high-quality and look beautiful in our house. We returned to Mathis Brothers after working with David Dean in the design division years prior. Every time we have gone in, we get the best advice and see numerous options for our design possibilities. We are not designers! But their help and advice have given us a beautiful home. Can't recommend highly enough. Definitely worth the visit.

    Greatly appreciated the variety of inventory. The Sales professionals (x2) led with responding to our needs rather than rote sales scripts. This approach allowed them to demonstrate expertise and therefore increase the value of their service leading to the securing of a sell. Chris Potts is an exceptional Sales Professional and we were highly impressed. He is our guy going forward!

    Job, Noel, and Talihya were AMAZING on the delivery team side, this was no straightforward move, but their professionalism and carefulness was very impressive. Of course, Thomas Bryant was wonderful on the sales side, shot me straight and wasted no time at all. Very pleased with my new sofa!!

    Ted was great, did not push us toward something unwanted. Let us browse and was very helpful when it came time to choose the right furniture. A pleasant experience in the show room. The distribution center on the other hand was not so pleasant. The kids working there obviously did not care about how they load the items. Paid $500 for 2 bar stools that they just laid them in the back of my truck without any kind of protection. No consideration to the furniture or the customer. Glad I had something to wrap them in my truck.

    Our trip was as expected from Mathis Brothers. We walked in, we were immediately greeted. We asked if Bob Lee was working, as we have dealt with him before, and he was wonderful to deal with. A minute later they told us he was on his way to assist us. We met with Mr. Lee, and we told him what we were interested in. He then took us and showed us everything we needed to see. He took the time to work with us, answering any questions we had. About 30 minutes later, we were all set, with new living room furniture. So, as expected from Mathis Brothers, friendly service, quick and easy process, and all the help possible in making every experience there, worth every penny.

    Jennifer Hatch and Alec McKenzie are two of the most AMAZING sales people! My boyfriend and I came in with just the intention of looking around and they both had us sold before they even offered more! If you are looked for new furniture, bed frames, mattresses, THESE ARE GOING TO BE YOUR PEOPLE! We felt NO pressure to buy, we do not feel like they tried to give us more than we bargained for, they were very good at listening to BOTH of our needs!! If you’re looking for anything new for your home, I highly recommend these two AMAZING people! You will not be disappointed! I’m only allowed to leave 5 stars, but if I could leave more, I would.

    Spent all day looking for new living room furniture. Went to two different Mathis Brothers twice. We finally came to a conclusion and purchased a LA-Z-Boy set just before their closing time. Ryan was a solid salesman who worked with us and spent a lot time explaining a lot of the processes. Awesome place.
