It’s a little run down compared to most locations. I don’t know what it is, but it always feels gloomy inside even when it’s sunny outside. The mood is just off. On a more positive note, Planet Fitness is a great place to have a membership with. They offer two types of memberships. The Basic and the Black Card, which includes gym access, tanning (various bed types and levels), red light skin treatment (or something like that), access to massage chairs (like the ones at the mall and airport 😀), as well as, water massage beds. With tax, the fee per month is just under $24. The Basic membership includes gym access only, and is only like $10 per month.

The enrollment process is easy and the staff is easy to work with. Large facility with a variety of equipment which is perfect if you are seeking to social distance during your work out. I have been in much smaller facilities where it can be challenging to utilize the equipment when it is occupied by other patrons therefore that is not an issue I have encountered at Planet Fitness. I think one of the obvious benefits is the value prospect for the cost of membership particularly when you factor in the hours of operation. The upkeep and cleanliness of the facility is also good therefore I would recommend.

The men's bathroom is constantly flooding, and has exposed black mold where the baseboard has been removed because of another leak. Some huge health concerns in this facility, and had been an issue the almost 3 years i used their facilities. I have been working out at the PF in Edmond recently and will continue to do so due to the repair of the facilities on northwest expressway. I know the memberships are cheap, but this is going to make people sick

The staff at the front desk was very nice. They did a great job social distancing the machines. You can either wear a mask while working out or not. I saw the majority of the people wearing masks (me included). I felt very comfortable and was able to focus on me and my purpose for being there.

Always clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Great equipment and plenty of room to workout. Tanning beds are always in great working condition with lay down and stand up options.

The location on NW Expressway in OKC does have more than it's fair share of plumbing issues. If you go there long enough it isn't all that surprising, frustrating but not surprising, when a locker room (usually the men's) is flooded or there's a CLOSED sign posted on the door due to plumbing issues. However, the staff and management care about their facility and the people who they serve. It's apparent in the amount of obvious work that they place into the place. The equipment and area is always clean, tidy, and in working condition. Recently the interior got a facelift. (Clocks however aren't their strong point. lol) And they have gotten much better about sending out emails when their hours are temporarily changing or if they close unexpectedly. There is little more irritating when one gets motivated to go to the gym, get ready for the gym, GO to the gym only to find the gym isn't open. So, I'm thankful for the communication efforts. I've been a solid member of this location for about three years now. I've been to other locations, but always gravitate back to my "home" gym. There are good people here. The diversity and inclusiveness is appreciated. I've heard people comment that they don't like PF because it doesn't have "all the equipment" needed or "the right equipment". Honestly, I'm just an average guy who is trying to stay in healthy. It has everything I need and I'm good with that. I am very appreciative to the staff and management who continue to do such an exceptional job. Thank you.

Don’t go to this one. I’ve been to multiple planets and none have as bad of service ad this one. Jordan the manage r will single you out and relay orders to his team to prevent you from working out. I did the black card because you can bring a friend. The bad thing is the friend you bring doesn’t get to us everything or tan. I will be canceling g my subscription and going to another gym.

The gym itself was fine. I actually liked the vibe and the lack of meat heads. But I've never been to a gym that doesn't allow you to try it free the first time. I had to pay $10.86 to even go in and see if I liked it. I realize it isn't a lot if money, but it's the principle of it.

I go to Planet Fitness in every town I'm in while traveling for work and have never had a bad experience. Tanning bed is great at this location. Hydro massage chairs are super good.

Always my place. Inali keeps the place spotless during the weekdays. Weekends, the bathrooms and facility aren’t as clean as when Inali is there. But everyone is still super friendly.

The good: The gym is really clean and well kept. The bad: I went here on a trial one day to see if I wanted to buy a membership. It was raining outside and about 61F, inside the gym it was so humid! It was way more humid inside than it was outside in the rain. It was a hot and humid swamp, absolutely disgusting. Once I started working out, I got so hot I had to leave. This place also feels really dark and gloomy. I'm so glad I didn't get a membership here, I will try out other places.

This gym is very nice, clean, and equipment is in great condition. The tanning and massage equipment is also very nice. The bathrooms are very nice and the layout is kind of cool to be honest. I really enjoy this gym. The ONLY reason there is not 5 stars is because EVERY shower stall is missing enough length on either side of the curtain to give you complete privacy. Literally there is about a 1 to 1.5 foot gap and you can see straight into the showers... kind of awkward, I've told the staff and they said they are getting new curtains this week, that was 2 weeks ago...

Planet Fitness is ALWAYS clean - fun and friendly!! I love the free weights, yoga mats, and WIDE array of machines. The circuit unit is amazing for a quick work out and I'd a 100% recommend the hydro massage beds! Water is only $1! Bathrooms are huge!!

I absolutely love this Gym however, I think it’s very inconsiderate for the corporate to continue to try to withdraw money from an account . I know what I signed up for but I think you all should reconsider that some people have gotten ill and can’t return to the gym because of Covid. Some people have bumped into financial issues because of Covid. I’m looking at an account with over $300 in fees and I haven’t been at the gym and over a year. At one point do you all cancel the accounts and stop trying to charge them . Seems like this company doesn’t care what people could possibly be going through. Some of them can probably be dead and you’re still trying to withdraw money from the account is very inconsiderate. We should be charged only when we come and I think that should be for every gym that has these lame contracts.

I been a member for a year and they have lots of great equipment I like the 30 min workout area. If they were to have concept2 rowers added that would be awesome. Not disappointed despite this by no means.

For my first time in the gym it is small they don't have all equipment but it nice and i can do my workout, i give them 4 stars because the 🔓are so expensive $12 💵 it was crazy.. but so far I like it.

The gym I expected to be bigger but regardless, it's nice to have a friendly gym right around the corner from my apartment. Not to mention I'm also able to get a workout in after work with my daughter. Staff is really friendly and I appreciate them making her first experience a positive one.

The staff here is super friendly! Especially the two young people who are usually here in the evenings. They always greet us cheerfully and are very pleasant. This gym has also been our favorite in OKC, it’s a little out of our way since we’re currently living in downtown, but we make the drive. It’s super clean and very rarely are any of the machines down. Overall, it’s been a great experience.

I was just this week able to return to fitness after a traumatic accident that left me unable to walk for 6 months. I went back to PF, and I was soooo happy that I met David who works at the front desk during the morning (reddish hair). He was so welcoming and kind and made me feel so great to be back. Thank you for having someone so wonderful on staff. David is just one fantastic example of how PF is a great place for all people to physically improve themselves.

The manager and his team are great the place is clean and 24 hours during the work week. Plus they have a personal trainer.. this is the best Planet Fitness in the city!! 💪

The staff is friendly and always greets us with a smile. The location on NW Exlressway in OKC ust replaced their cardio equipment, so that is a plus The black card spa could use a deep cleaning, and they should consider adding a 5th smith machine (there is plenty of room to do so), as the 4 existing ones are always taken in the evenings. All in all, we are satisfied with our memberships, and find it to be a value for the price.

Clean facility and much more space in the free-weight area than their location on Western Ave. But I think their HVAC is having issues or they are trying to save on the electric bill. It was hot. Almost unbearable. I realize it's August and also it’s hotter than usual, but it should be cooler in the facility than it was.

Starting enjoy going back to the gym. It’s clean and they have some updated equipment. My absolute only complaint is that it’s not 24/7. PLEASE make it at least 24/6 with one weekend day. Busy father of 5, and it’s hard to get workouts in every day.

The gym and staff are great! We had a great workout! If you are in a truck, DO NOT STOP HERE. There aren't any "no truck signs." We are in a bobtail. We left a note in the window, stating we were at the gym and to please call if we needed to move. They slapped a big yellow sticker in the middle of the drivers side windshield to be towed.

Staff is always courteous and helpful. The facility is clean and organized, and it is always a comfortable environment to work out. I love my home gym!

This place is awesome and the workers there are amazing and truly care about there customers. The place is clean and I love that is judge free zone. I also love that I get to bring my teenage son who is 15 it’s a great way for him and I to bond while being the best and healthiest versions of our selfs. I struggle with my weight off and on and a lot of gyms I can feel so intimidated going. But when i go here I feel comfortable and not embarrassed. Love it. Thank you planet fitness for being awesome. If I had a request it would be add childcare. Besides that it still earns my 5 stars!

I love the quick workout area! And I like that there is such a huge variety of machines and equipment. I also really appreciate that I can use tanning booths and the Total Body.

Friendly staff and good machines. Not too bad of a wait time for the squat racks. Definitely not enough weights for the racks, i usally have to look around for 10s.

Great staff and no pressure. We were given a great tour of the facility by Jonathan, and he explained how the fees work. I won't knock the facility for this as it's corporate, they want a credit card for your initial fee but only will allow direct debit from your checking account for your monthly fee- Foul. Very clean facility and plenty of cleaning stations for wiping down equipment so you don't have to go far. The other cudo is they are the only fitness facility that let's you go month to month with no contract, the others all require a 1 year commitment

I love planet fitness, there are plenty of machines to get my supersets done for each workout even when the place is packed. I love the perks too ! Black Card Members are where all the benefits are!

The manager of the gym is very unprofessional she her unprofessionally dressed a lot of the time. Very biased in how she acts with gym members. She doesn’t seem to be very present and helpful with her employees and never there to discuss issues regarding the gym. Will not return due to the managers lack of professionalism.

I visited OKC for 2 days, but this planet fitness Gunn made me want to stay. What I love is the CLEANLINESS. The building is keen on cleaning and sanitizing. Moreover the machines were all in great condition, and there were not a lot of people there. With the global pandemic, that was a plus for me. I know it’s weird, but nowadays, no one wants to be in crowded spaces. Well, at least not me. Great location, and better customer service.

I like the easy locational access, the number and types of weight machines, and the reasonable pricing. Zach at the front desk helped my wife and I out a lot with getting set up; he and the other staff have been friendly and helpful.

Great safety standards in place. I felt safe, and everything was clean. I wore a mask, and most folks who were there did too and were respectful of others' space.

I have to start by saying this facility is not at fault for the rating I gave. The people there are very courteous and professional, the place is nice, and the equipment is well maintained. My beef is with the corporate policy regarding masks, or more specifically the policy you read on paper when you enter the facility verses the one they tell their employees to enforce. I haven't worked out in a while mostly for safety concerns but my Covid 20 was beginning to bug me. Decided to start in again, (tired of paying for it and not going, my fault.) When entering the facility for the first time I was encouraged by the sign(posted below) requiring masks while in the place. However once I started the workout, noticed that approximately 50% of the patrons had no protection on. This was a little irritating but I blew it off, that is until I went to use the crunch machine and the person using it, after a rep,(no mask) sat there and played on his phone(this probably restarted the irritation). While sitting there he coughed several times, wiped the sweat off his face with his hand, and the topper, he wiped his nose on his sleeve. People with masks on don't tend to touch their faces. After all this he did his next rep grabbing the machine with his hands. This was repeated once more before he left the machine. My workout was done. Didn't say anything to employees after this workout but the next time I went there(I know, I know, but the place is nice) about 50% were using masks again. This time I asked the desk person and was told that customers were required to wear masks upon entry and exit, and when in the enclosed spaces of the facility.(Aren't FACILITIES enclosed spaces???) We were not required to wear masks at individual equipment. I wanted to blame the desk person but the way the policy was told to me made me believe that they were telling me what management required of them. Point is it seems the policy that is on paper, (and I believe, the one new customers see) is not the reality, and the reality is just unsafe.

Tried to change my home gym and no one can seem to help me. I’m out of state and just wanted a transfer and now I want to completely cancel, I’m sick of planet fitness and all the lies. Employee lied about being a manager and didn’t help me transfer my home gym.

If you are at risk of COVID don’t workout here unfortunately. While the facility is good, it’s really hard to feel comfortable here when this city has a Mask Mandate but the staff doesn’t enforce anything (including their own signage) putting others at risk during an ongoing global pandemic. Irresponsible is an understatement. Regardless of personal views wearing masks should be followed as is posted on their doors, inside the gym and where public. Let me add that although there is an updated policy, nothing is enforced (mask worn to enter, exit, while in public areas etc..)

Love this place. The staff is first rate and very helpful. The crowd is polite and helpful.

The reason for my poor review is because after the Covid 19 close down they didn't open back up during hours that I could use the gym. I knew that my annual dues were coming up and so I went in to cancel my membership with ever intention of coming back once they were open 24hrs. When the gym manager called me back about my $42 fee that had been charged to me 2 days prior to me coming in, wouldn't refund my fees because I supposedly was suppose to cancel by the 25th of the previous month. She refused to refund my money which I believe is very poor customer service considering they changed their hours. I'll never join that location again.

I was visiting this gym and they have great equipment and a no-intimidation atmosphere.

It's a nice place to go after a rough day for letting your body do the thinking. 😅

So they want us to wear a mask from the door to workout and give you a hard time if you don't have one on. Some people have medical conditions why they can't wear one. At the same time the employees that say something about a mask are at the front desk with their mask on their chin. Also you guys are worried about mask when you have nasty sweaty people not wiping down the machine. I'm getting sick of hearing about a mask at 6am not what I want to hear a that hour. If I don't want to wear one I shouldn't be made too.

I was under the impression that I was signing a year contract with the gym and after a year, they charged me the annual $42 fee so I contacted a manager to get a refund as we are in the middle of a pandemic and I don’t feel comfortable going due to covid-19, not to mention I moved out of state and unaware that I was going to have that charge. I was directed to send an email but all I got in response was my contract emailed back to me. Terrible customer service. Don’t waste your money since they don’t care about their customers during a global pandemic.

There are 2 step machines have broken for more than 2 weeks, wonder when they're going to be fixed. Again there is this machine that has been down for awhile and needs to be fixed

Planet Fitness has been a great gym! There is such a variety of equipment to fit every workout need! The staff at my home PF is always friendly and helpful! I travel often and am thankful with my BlackCard membership, I can still work out while on the road!

Why was I charged for this month's club fees when we're in the middle of a pandemic and there's a government mandate that all gyms are closed until further notice? Why should I have to pay for your services when they're nonexistent? I understand that this is a corporate issue and not necessarily the club's fault, but considering PF's nonexistent customer service this is the only way I can attempt to get anyone's attention. This review will come down when I get my money back.

They charged me $25 for less than an hour of membership, and won't refund anything. I signed up online because they said I wouldn't be charged until my club was reopened after COVID-19, yet they charged my bank account before they reopened this morning. I was there to cancel right after they reopened this morning. Location is only open 12-15 hrs/day. No classes EVER - even in non-pandemic times. Locker rooms are closed "temporarily". First Etamaze and Jordan told me their training said no one would be charged until June, and I needed to come back to talk to the manager Michelle to correct my acct. I came back, but Michelle didn't want to talk to me. Etamaze disappeared, Michelle was standing right there, but told Jordan to "handle it". Then Jordan's story was that people who signed up online would still be charged immediately. I clarified that Planet Fitness was charging me $25 for less than an hour of membership. Jordan rephrased it that they were just following the contract that I signed. Michelle eagerly jumped in to pull up my agreement to show me the terms.

Pretty good gym, good ambient temperature only have 2 complaints. Really just 1 the other is preference. Wish they wouldn't play the news(try to get away from all that when I workout) and wish they had some unassisted squat racks.
