I’ve had easier time cancelling my cable subscription. The gym is nice, but to cancel your membership, you have to go in person to a gym, fill out paperwork with an employee, take said paperwork, and certify mail it to a PO Box 30 days in advance. Their idea of a free first month is also just to make you technically have a 13 month lease so you pay it at the end anyway. The May location isn’t bad, the downtown has great employees but definitely has/had leaks. I haven’t personally been to the rest.

Most people have given this Gym great reviews. These are the people who havent tried to cancel their memberships yet. Its a true money grab. Try and cancel your membership and watch how this Gym makes it hard for you while continuing to take your money non stop. Pay your balance off in full, submit your paperwork. sounds easy enough. However they find a way to continue taking money. its a long horrible adventure. I paid my balance in full and submitted my cancelation form. guess what. it wasnt canceled and they keep adding months due onto it. very misleading and unhonest. I understand reviews can leave an impact on companies. I am not out to hate on this gym. its friendly, clean and very convenient. This Cancelation process has overshadowed everything. Its not how I would like to be treated. Just passing it on to others so they can make informed decisions.

It’s good for self motivated folks. Or if you have a personal trainer. It does not offer classes and the equipment is sufficient. It could use better and more regular cleaning. Equipment and mats are not kept clean by the staff or the users. Fortunately, they have towelettes to cleanup if you are inclined to do so. It’s good.

I have been a member since 2012. I love this gym. It is money well spent. I have comple access 24hrs to all locations. Kevin McBride the owner has done an amazing job at creating a comfort, welcoming and positive atmosphere. No matter where you are on your fitness journey you feel the love, and it's inspirational. I love my gym! Additional, I would like to recognize and commend Kevin McBride, the owner, for all the outstanding contributions, charitable givings and comment to the community. I'm happy and proud to be a part of this 4 Star family.

I give this gym a solid 4/5! The equipment is unmatched. They have things no other gyms offer. Also they continually improve whenever possible, just recently they got new floors in! I'd say if you live near a location go and sign up right now. Well worth every penny. The ONLY con I'd say they have is the music is sometimes WAY too loud. Other than that it's a fantastic gym.

The best gym around with the absolute best people. 💪🏽💪🏽 The facility is always clean. The receptionists are more than friendly. The machines are always up and running. It’s a great gym to be a member at. The owner, Kevin McBride is hands on. He’s extremely proud of his establishments and the pride he has at all of his locations most certainly show. Not only is it a great place to workout at, but the structure he has set up for his personal trainers are unlike any other gym. I’ve been a member since 2018 & I’ve trained with Kali for years. This gym allows her and many other personal trainer friends I have working at 4 star to make a real living as a personal trainer. That being said, if you’re looking for a great, friendly, CLEAN, gym to either workout at or take your personal training career to the next level, call and join today. I just re-joined Four Star Fitness after recovery from surgery. Signing up again was so easy. Staff is very friendly, and my former Trainer at the Edmond location is great. I will now go to the May location, it's closer, but all have great Trainers and the facilities are kept clean and well-maintained. I have several co-workers who are members here as well.

I would have gave 5 stars, but there are a few pros and cons Pros: great gym setup, atmosphere, and the people who go there are decent people, rerach their weights, etc Cons: the "personal trainers". Theyre rude, and there are 2 in particular that are just terrible. They dont rerach their weights, wipe down equipment, and they are under the impression that all the equipment is there for their sole use. Had a terrible experience with one today. Got an attitude and aggressive. The may location is the only one like this, im hoping management at the may location does something about it. If there was a complaint number id call it. But all that being said, if you go when they arent there, amazing time at the gym.

Outstanding gym! Amazing equipment with great staff. Owner really goes above and beyond. Johnny is the first to greet you at the door and will go out of his way to help members.

Echoing other people's issues with cancelling membership. The gym isn't that nice, the staff isn't very helpful and the management seems to think the right way to make money is to try to force people into a difficult to break contract where they have no responsibility to end it when asked.

The property manager Johnny keeps the place pristine and up beat. Overall clean gym, if you’re looking for a true judgement free zone I’d recommend Four Star.

My husband signed up with this gym and opted for the year long membership. He had no idea his job would change suddenly 4 months later, meaning he no longer worked in a town with this gym. They offered no buyout option because there was another location they said he could go to (in a town my husband never goes to and not near his current job, but apparently just a mile or two inside their radius to let someone out of a contract). They gladly took another $320 from us even though my husband never stepped through the door again. Then, after his year FINALLY ended (which they said is when his contract would finally terminate), they proceeded to auto draft payments for two more months and made my husband visit a location in person to finally shut it down. $400 down the drain is pretty hard to swallow.

Visiting from out of town and this gym had a great atmosphere with awesome equipment, A clean space to get a good pump in! The staff was kind and helpful in setting up a day pass.

This is an awesome gym and the people make you feel as if you are at home. Brenda is so professional and always pushing me to be my best.

Not a bad gym only problem I have is that it is always packed from like 4am to 8pm and constantly having to wait on machines for the upper body especially lat pull-down area

I love the May location! They have great staff, especially Tyrone! The gym has a lot of IFBB pros which can look intimidating, but everyone has been super friendly. Would recommend for anyone trying to fit in their prepandemic pants

Been going to 4 star fitness for years. I’ve tried other gyms just to check them out but 4 star is my favorite. Tons of equipment including saunas. Mult locations throughout the city which makes it easy depending where you are. Always clean and well maintained.

This clean and well equipped gym is conveniently located for life in North OKC. Open all the time for members. The people who work out there are serious about body building and weight training. It’s truly inspiring to see the high level of fitness from the other members and amazing trainers. Great gym! Go see Johnny at the front desk and he’ll show you the ropes. He can get you set up with himself or one of the amazing trainers there to build a program specifically for you.

Kevin is amazing, I’ve known him for years! Every time I go through OKC I try to stop by four star fitness. Best atmosphere, best gym, best vibes and by far the best facility with the best owner and staff. Scott Bowen is a punk b**** who’s brave on a keyboard not in real life who likes to talk about little kids. That is all. ☺️

Truly a great “small” gym. I’m also a member of vasa and I can tell you right now that 4 star has a better array of equipment that you’ll actually use, not busy so you actually can use the machines and the environment is very friendly and helpful. It’s like cheers the bar- everyone literally knows your name and is cheering you on. Highly recommend this gym!

Four Star is THE best gym in OKC! I’ve always been treated with respect when I go and I have always felt comfortable even when I’ve been there by myself at night. The 24/7 access is amazing and convenient and the amenities keep getting better and better. This gym helped change my life.

Four Star Fitness is becoming a home away from home. I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere where I can be myself without feeling the eyes of judgement on me. The staff is more then willing to help in anyway and it is packed with kind, professional and knowledgeable personal trainers willing to answer any questions you have at no cost. The supplements shop is conveniently attached to the center and is staffed by well educated employees who have given very sound advise on my personal nutritional goals. During my time spent there I began to notice a tightly knit community or "Family" if you will of highly dedicated health enthusiast's. I am in the best shape of my life because of how comfortable I feel spending time in this center.
