Ha everything you would need for a great workout! Friendly people. Has a funny smell, not the cleanest place. Beware of paying the year in full. They'll upsale it hard, but then show zero sympathy if you have to move out of state. No refunds whatsoever.

I signed up for a 6 month membership in July. In August I was told by my trainer (after mgmt had meeting with trainers) that they were closing. In September they closed the doors. They gave me a form to fill out for my refund. They told me that they would give me back the 4+ months they owed me. I found another gym suggested to me by one of the weight room trainers and signed up for a membership there. After a month, I called inquiring about my refund. I was told it would not be processed until November. November came and nothing. I called and was told it should be soon. December came and nothing. Today, 12/16/19, I got a letter in the mail saying that their bonding company says they do not owe me anything because they reopened within 60 days and within 8 miles of the old facility. I was not told at the time I signed up for a 6 month membership that they would be closing in a month. I was not told, when they closed, that they would be reopening anywhere. In fact, it was really hard to get a hold if Wanda and when I did, she is the person that told me I would get refund. I have now been working out at 4 Star fitness, since the day they closed the doors. It has been great. Th Weight Room tells me now that my membership is is on hold until Jan 2020 until all facilities are complete. They mention new pool, whirlpool and sauna. LOL they open the gym not complete and say their 60 day window was met. Are you kidding. It also states that if I do not make contact by Jan 1st, then my membership automatically starts back up and runs through March 10. This is well short of the 4+ months they owe me.

Was at the Weight Room for a long time, maybe 6 years give or take a year. They've changed locations 3 times since then, have never kept up equipment (I've asked numerous times, don't let Wanda fool you with "her records") I may have signed a contract when I first joined 6 years ago but never anything since then. October 15th is when my membership ended and I got a text from Wanda at 635 pm the day my membership ended saying that I needed to pay by 8 pm or my key fob wouldn't work the next day. 6 YEARS LOYAL and this is the respect you get folks. Sent in cancelation, postmarked (it's not the 70s, nobody requires a certified letter to cancel a membership) 2 weeks later, another text from Wanda saying she received the cancelation policy BEFORE membership had expired but was charging for another month. I told her not to. She did anyway. I never signed anything saying I would send them a cancelation letter to cancel. Aside from Cati the manager there is zero customer service at this gym. Equipment old and outdated, not well maintained, literal rust on the plates and dumbells and very disorganized. READ THE 1 STAR REVIEWS AND RESPONSES FROM WANDA THEY WILL TELL YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW.

After coming here few times just to see if I like it I finally got the membership and that was best decision ever!!! I'm a swimmer, and you can not get a good deal like this anywhere in the city! Plus the hot tubs, saunas and tanning beds are such a great benefit! The gym is very well equipped, variety of classes in the morning AND afternoon (yes - after 5pm!!!), and fantastic staff !!!! So friendly and knowledgeable!!! Can't believe i haven't heard about this place before!

Love this gym and the enviroment it produces! Caity an Wanda are awesome in the morning and i highly recommend this gym.

I was with The Weight Room at the original location and throughout the move to the Lighthouse on Hefner. I terminated my membership due to a water leak that took MONTHS to repair. I was not able to get ready for work in the locker rooms during this time. I do not feel the situation was managed properly. I had invited many friends to the gym who all had a less than great experience. I recently drove by and saw it was back at its original location and decided to review it the one star that I believe it deserved. I didn’t leave a response because I figured you wouldn’t want another bad review on your page.... but here it is.

I just joined today after getting a great deal for my kid being in the swim classes offered through King Marlin Swim Club. Both pools have had extensive work done and are extremely clean. They have a great variety of free weights and machines and cardio equipment. I can't get over having whirlpools and saunas in the locker rooms! All the staff have been helpful. I'm very pleased with my choice.

The Weight Room is not your typical, franchised gym...which is exactly why I love it! In fact, I'm a second generation member! Regardless of fitness level, you'll feel comfortable at this gym because everyone is simply striving for the same thing. In the 1.5+ years that I have been a member, I've never felt uncomfortable or out of place and, as a bonus, management goes out of their way to be helpful. They offer excellent rates (especially if you sign up as a couple), tanning, and childcare. By far, my favorite gym! Highly recommended.

Absolutely love this place it's a home away from home for me and my girl! 💪 Large variety of different types of equipment. Owner and staff are top notch people!

Well I never read reviews but Nathan was rite if u move they could care less as long as they get ur next payment.. I expected better cuz I loveed the gym but I had to move back to my home town

Oldest and best gym in OKC! Friendly family owned buisness. Except a Hello and a have a nice day when you come and go! There is a reason this place has been in business for 40 years while other gyms come and go in about 5

Proud to be a member of 5:30am crossfit crew. The sense of community in this place is rarely found.

I've only recently joined this gym. But, it has plenty of machines and a great atmosphere. If you're looking for a professional environment with knowledgeable staff this is the place to be.
