Was in town for a baseball tournament, and there were several of us with campers that stayed. The park was clean and very pretty. The kids loved the playground. Everyone we saw or came in contact with that worked there was sooo nice. If we ever have to come back that way we will be staying there again for sure!

KOA is synonymous with camping, and they have a standard for all campgrounds to aspire too. Some campers love them, and others tolerate them. This KOA has changed my attitude on them, as everything and everyone we encountered in our overnight stay exceeded expectations. We spend 3.5 hours on the side of I-40 with a blowout and when our worthless roadside assistance finally got someone to change out our tire, we were frazzled and the sun was setting and we were 25 miles from thw campground. We arrived late, it was dark, the campground was dark and I couldn't find the site assigned to us. A phone call was made and the owner jumped on it and got is to our site. He offered us late checkout and to hold the site for another nite for us to obtain additional repairs. He and his staff were above and beyond. A huge thanks to them, pkus, this was a great campground with all the frills. We were so impressed that i made another KOA reservation for tonite in Sallisaw. Another great campground with review to follow! These campgrounds definitely exceed the standards for most campgrounds!

Clean. We only stayed 1night on our way home. We reserved a pull through so we don't have to unhook. Unfortunately the water was set to the front of the site so we could not reach to hook up our water. It's crazy we have camped in this camper for 4 years and never had a hook up issue until the last 2 nights. Is this normal for Oklahoma and New Mexico KOAs or just a weird coincidence? Also lot appeared level but was not.

Our assigned site was taken by another rv. I’m not sure if they double assigned that space or the other rv just took it without caring. Thankfully a worker saw us struggling and pointed us to a different site but the site he pointed us to was way too small for our rig. I wish there had been better communication because this was very unenjoyable.

This KOA was terrific. We stayed for two nights and I have to say I’ve never stayed at a KOA with such a unique bathroom system. All the bathrooms are basically a full sized household bathroom with toilet and shower which I thought was amazing! My toddler enjoyed the park and the staff were very happy and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Sites are small. Most were pull through so that was nice. It was raining when we were leaving, we didn't enjoy all the mud and deep puddles in our site

Quiet campground although full. Dog Park was the best ever, huge size, lit at night and fairly poop free on the ground. Will stop again when traveling through here.

The folks were so nice from Vonda (I think that’s her name) she was so sweet the ice machine didn’t work and she even offered to go into the Loves and get us ice, very sweet! AJ was so helpful as we had a low tire. Very good folks. Highly recommend!

Professional and friendly staff. Staff was aware that I had requested utility trailer parking when online reservation was made. She directed us to a parking area within sight of our cabin. Cabin was clean. The ac was running when we arrived. Would definitely recommend.

Oklahoma City East KOA Holiday is our 132nd stop and we stayed for 8 nights. About a mile north of I-40, you get the convenience without road noise. Desk staff were pleasant and provided me the relevant information and guided me to the site. Booked one of the patio sites which was nice and the long gravel pad was generally level (easily fit our 39 ft. rig and tow). The 5 main interior roads for the pull throughs were paved which was nice and there are mature shade trees around the park. The laundry room featured 8 washers and dryers, was reasonably priced and clean. The dog park was nearly an acre and filled with trees. A nice KOA and would rate a 4.4 and would stay here again. And the park WiFi was quite good in comparison to many other parks we have visited.Connectivity (1 pm): Park WiFi (5G) 44.0 down/17.0 up (2G) 15.2 down/6.34 up; Verizon 71.8 down/14.2 up; T-Mobile 6.85 down/0.63 up.

Nice park. We stayed in a deluxe pull-thru site, which was level and fairly clean. The fire pit had cigarette butts in it, which for the price we pay, shouldn't have been, especially next door to the owner's site. The morning we left, the park employees had parked their golf carts around the front of the owner's rig, which was inconsiderate, making our departure a bit challenging.

Decent campground for the price. Wish it was more grassy and less sandy where the tent sites are. Check in was easy enough. All of the bathrooms are gender neutral, and have a shower/sink/toilet in each individual room. I like the layout, as I haven’t seen this at any other KOA, but the bathrooms could have been cleaner. They smelled a bit and just felt grungy.

Bathrooms are a little dated and could be cleaner. The pool was very cloudy, had missing tiles and had missing grout. Staff were very friendly, good spot for camping. We stayed overnight on our trip home from Texas and were looking forward to a nice fresh pool.

It is an older park, but very neat and clean. We had no problem getting our 45' motorcoach in and out. It is about a mile off I-40, so it was nice and quiet and very convenient to the interstate. Although it is not a nice new fancy park, the best part of our stay was the way we were treated. The staff were all very friendly, very helpful and accommodating. I have been RVing for over 40 years. I can't ever remember being treat so well. We will be back the next time we are in the area.

Super disappointed with the situation I’m dealing with at this KOA. We were on the road for 10 hours when we arrived at 2:15pm for check-in. The office was closed from 2-4, but our check-in docs were in the box outside the office and it had our site number on it. All was good up until this point. Once we got to our assigned spot, we saw someone already occupying it - how frustrating! We spent 20 mins tracking someone down informing them of the situation. They took 30 more mins to offer us a solution; 1) wait another 45 mins for the people in our spot to pack up and move or 2) take another spot. I would have taken another premium patio spot, but they were all full. We were offered a regular pull through and a free night - which isn’t satisfying since we’re here on vacation and took time off from work to enjoy a premium patio site. So this means no gas grill, no patio chairs, or brick patio. They’ll claim they made the other people pack up and move (which they did) and re-offered us the premium patio site AFTER we already completely setup our regular pull through, but who would want to pack their stuff back up and move at this point? They also tried telling us that it was completely the other persons fault for staying there. My wife was so disappointed that she confronted the people who overstayed their visit in our site. From talking with them, they said they informed the campground, days prior, that they were staying. This could have all been avoided if this KOA checked their spots at checkout time to ensure people that were supposed to leave actually left. Also I’m writing this at 3:30am since a neighbor just showed up in a diesel! Yes, we got a new neighbor at 3:15am! I’ve stayed at 21 campground or RV parks since September of last year and this is by far the most disappointing situation :(

We needed a quick place to stay overnight on a road trip. The staff had everything prepared for us to pick up after hours. The campground is very peaceful and clean. Very grateful for the warm shower after a long day of driving!

We liked the easy access to the site and it was gravel and level. The site was long enough for our motorhome and toad. Nice friendly people. We also filled up with LP gas.

My personal favourite KOA. Why? Well, for starters they have “normal” bathrooms, where there is a shower, sink, and toilet in the room. Yay! Also, their dog run is huge and has lots of trees, like a forest. Nice! And last, but not least, they have propane for way less than the local gas station.

    • Nice campground • Great staff • Level site • Huge sites • No cable, but can get a few air channels • Awesome showers, great pressure and lots of hot water, they could use a deep cleaning, and please get rid of those horrible shower rugs. • Laundry room is good, away from the campers so you’re not bothering anyone

5 stars because of the nice and clean bathroom and shower. Decent place with a good combination of RV cabin and tent campsites. Only complaint is that ants are everywhere. They go on the car, table, food and you.

Super friendly staff. Dog park has a lot of trees for shade and was quite large. I originally rented a cabin just for a one night stay but ended up staying two nights. I will definitely stop here on my next cross country trip.

An absolutely gorgeous campground, laid out in such a way that the large sites don’t feel crowded at all. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and immaculate. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We visited the memorial while we’re there and it was incredibly moving.

We had the most wonder experience at this business. Three days of relaxation in a campground with a tree canopy. We felt secure leaving our trailer and pets to go and experience a venue in the Choctaw Park. The hosts were the best and I enjoined visiting with them. We will be back for the venue next year and might even try out a cabin. It was well run with all the camping amenities we'd need.

This is a pretty nice park. It is a bit hilly and some of the turns are a little tight (40ft motorhome towing) but we managed. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Hookups are convenient. Sites are mostly level with gravel. There had been a lot of rain the week before we arrived so some places were muddy and some of the road was eroded but still ok. Park WIFI was excellent and Verizon and AT&T were really good too. Some sites have a lot of trees which provide great shade.

The nicest RV Park that I have ever been too and I have been to a lot. The owner and all the staff are so nice and friendly and helpful. They are very family friendly. Our kids and grandkids loved the park. It's very clean. Will definitely stay again.
