Midtown Mutts Dog Park

Park Dog park

👍👍 Lovely space for my fur kids. I like the different spaces for small and large dogs and the shade trees with benches. Be aware that the world population is a little territorial. They will chunk pieces of nut shell at you. It’s kind of funny. People often mention park, dogs,

Well this is kind of a tricky one, because although it is downtown and on very valuable land, it has a lot of land mines and I'm not really sure what the ground covering is? It's grass over here dirt over there wood chips here a little concrete there and some mud holes. If you are living in a condo downtown this is the best dog park you've ever seen!! But if you've seen any of the last five or six nice ones I have this isn't that nice! But it is a dog park and it does have a cool name and you can actually come in through a cargo container if you want to!! Plus since it's getting close to Christmas I think they're having some kind of special event down there for Christmas oh, it's just right across the street!!

We unfortunately picked a time when almost no one was at the park so there wasn’t a true play experience to evaluate. My girl seemed bored with the playground. I wasn’t up to chasing her with all the poo hiding amongst the wood chunks covering the ground. Maybe some owners aren’t familiar with dog park etiquette, but there are poo bag dispensers in the park. We’ve been spoiled by Bickam- Rudkin dog park with its grassy fields and lake view, which isn’t a fair comparison with a city park. Next time we’ll try a different park.

It's okay, it's a fenced in place you can take your dog. It IS a decent size with a side for smaller dogs (which or course no small dog owners use). Just beware there are a LOT of visitors who don't understand dog park etiquette - but overall not a poo filled park or anything majorly negative. It's just, about what you'd expect for a city dog park!

Pretty good park given the proximity to downtown OKC. There are some large obstacles like tires and tree stumps for the dogs to run around. Separate areas for larger and smaller dogs. There is also a working water spigot and plenty of water bowls for the pups, including a large basin that could be used for a little pool. The only thing I didn't like is that the ground is mainly woodchips and dirt so it gets muddy when it's wet out. The regular owners and their pups are friendly and everyone was attentive to their dogs.

This is a good little park. People take pride in keeping it clean and accessible. Large and small dog areas. People were friendly

The environment was great and the other parents were kind and welcoming. There was lots of broken glass in the parking area, this was a big concern.

My dog has the most friends there. She loves it and I do to. It wears her out.

Not bad. Clean. I think it's being worked on as of 9/13/23 because most of it is inaccessible and the water is turned off. I moved on to a different park to find my doggo a drink after playing for a bit.

With me I took 2 border collie Aussie mixes when visting this dohg park, I'm sire this spot is quiet grest in the fall and spring times but in the summer its reslly hot and theres lack of shade. This park is mostly dirst - this spot is too small for there to be more than maybe 10 animals here at a time . Little dog part is nice shaded and grassed. There is one spicet for water and like a few random bowls. Not to shabby but I think Ill drive a little further and find a regular park to go to.

This dog park is a little sad, and I hope the city gives it some more funding. Most of the grass was dead, broken fences, and the area for the small dogs was pretty pitiful. My 10 pound Shih-Tzu/Yorkie mix got bit by a French bulldog here today, and the owner just left.

I’m really disappointed that the city cannot budget some grass for this dog park. It’s literally a plot of mud, dirt, and dog poo. The location is so convenient but the park is in inferior condition. The city charges $10 to park here on the weekend but can only provide wood chips to cover the mud in the park. I can’t imagine that feels good on a dogs’ bare paws to run through wood chips. I wish this place would improve so I could actually enjoy bringing my dog here.

A great little stop on my way through Oklahoma City with my dog. There are only two other dogs there in the afternoon, and struck up a sweet conversation with a local.

Good park midtown to let your dog run and play. Could be improved with more grass. Nice shaded area and water for the dogs.

Nice dog park, I go a few times a week because it's really convenient and usually has several dogs playing. Lost a star because it gets really dusty-they can't seem to get grass to grow. Wear sunglasses when you go and it isn't an issue.

Not good for dogs feet, muddy when it rains. Huge rocks in the play area, and pretty sure I seen a campfire and beer. Not a good environment for our furry buddies!. Won't go back
