This
might
be
my
lifetime
all
time
favorite
OKC
park
as
it
holds
many
really
happy
memories
for
me
of
all
kinds.
However,
I
went
to
this
park
and
found
no
water
whatsoever
at
the
splash
park,
no
running
water
as
fountains
for
drinking,
the
iconic
fountain
broken
again,
no
tap
water
to
wash
hands
or
faces,
no
toilets
and
any
number
of
older
men
lounging
on
tables
or
child
toys
in
the
park
asleep
making
it
scary
for
any
visitor
or
child
with
a
caregiver
or
parent
to
want
to
stay.
This
park
has
a
number
of
things
which
I
actually
rarely
or
never
see
people
use.
It
used
to
be
a
park
with
ball
games
like
softball,
volleyball,
tennis
or
baseball
and
now
really
these
sites
seem
unused.
There
was
a
very
large
pool
for
kids
and
this
is
gone.
I
don't
really
understand
the
exchange
of
the
pool
for
these
splash
parks
and
I
do
see
people
walk
the
trail
here
often.
I
tried
to
eat
my
lunch
but
there
were
so
many
flies
around
the
dirty
tables
and
over
flowing
trash
I
finally
had
to
put
it
away.
I
hope
someone
takes
this
park
more
seriously,
and
I
also
hope
neighbors
understand
the
city
thinks
clean
up
efforts
like
washing
down
tables
or
sweeping
up
glass
or
maybe
even
collecting
litter
or
shooing
loitering
people
is
up
to
them.
\BOTH
OKLAHOMA
CITY
BEAUTIFUL
and
then
THE
NEIGHBORHOOD
ALLIANCE
FOR
CENTRAL
OKLAHOMA
ARE
within
a
half
a
block
of
this
place
and
it
is
wierd
to
me
this
super
great
historic
park
is
not
really
doing
all
it
can
for
the
kids
it
used
to
serve
for
ballet
and
games,
swimming
and
sports,
gathering
and
events
and
just
as
a
happy
place
to
picnic.
