Overall, really great diner! Came about 30min before the rest of our party to get on the waiting list on a Saturday. Sat in a reasonable amount of time! Attended a few minutes after sitting down. Staff is really fun and kind, lots of options to choose from on the menu! Why 4 stars? The portion of food was not worth it, specifically the burrito. For $12 I can get just as delicious and a larger, high quality burrito at other restaurants. Also we were given spoiled creamer/milk. The quality of the food was good! Portions could use work and accountability on dates. Will come again!

This place is THE brunch place I’d for sure recommend! They have patio and indoor seating, mimosas, music and amazing food! I had the French toast and it was amazing. We ordered mimosas with both cranberry and orange juice to mix the champagne with. Yummy! The player a mixture of music including Fleetwood Mac, foo fighters and more. I went on a Sunday late morning/early afternoon in the summer. Kid friendly and pet friendly too! No worries about it being too mature or much for a younger crowd. The building is next door to a taco place too and the parking seemed decent on the day I went! I can imagine busier days might be harder, but Sunday mornings aren’t that bad! Looking to try a patio brunch with friends or family? Check out the Sunnyside diner downtown location. 🥓 🍾

One of my go to places whenever I need lots of delicious food. If you are hungry when you walk in you will walk out fully satisfied. Just like diners of old, this is a comfortable happy place for all your senses. Great staff, food, and music. Enjoy!

We stopped here on our way back to TX. The reviews were great so we gave it a shot. The service and food was amazing. The actual diner was on the smaller side but our wait wasn't over 20 minutes.

This was a classic little diner. I know they have a few franchises in the area but it was excellent. I had the biscuits and gravy. I had it with scrambled eggs and they were delicious. My wife had a half order of the fat Elvis and I tried it. It was so good. I loved it because it was so different from anything I have tried.

Absolutely one of the best places to eat breakfast or lunch in the OKC area. The food was amazing and had great flavors. The staff is very lively and friendly. I went off of a recommendation from my server and ordered the Chilaquiles and he was right, it was heaven on a plate (Shout out to Danial). The bloody Mary was very tasty and you add your spice level. Sorry for the last pic but that was our cinnamon roll we ate in seconds..... Highly, Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Waited about 20 minutes on a Sunday morning for two, wasn't bad at all. They brought us coffee as we waited outside. Got us seated and it's very cute and our wait staff was friendly. We ordered the sunny side classics and the biscuit debris. We were well taken care of and enjoyed the experience! Food was delicious

Love Sunnyside Diner! We’ve eaten here about a half dozen times in the past two years, and always enjoy the experience. Thankful they have a separate plant based menu, full of delicious vegan breakfast and lunch options. Also love the variety of mimosa options, so good. The service is always top notch as well, attentive and cheerful.

We had the most amazing breakfast. Definitely recommend!! Food presentation was fantastic, we watched them bring out plate after plate to patrons and everything looked great. The staff was friendly and attentive. Every staff member I saw had a smile on their face including the dishwasher. The food was delicious!! The skillet cinnamon roll is a must!!

Sunnyside Diner is a must-visit if you're in the OKC/Edmond area. Delicious food, amazing atmosphere, and everyone on staff was so kind. I highly recommend their spiked iced coffee ☕️ Add some pancakes, and you have the best start to your day, the Sunnyside way ☀️

This is from my to go experience. Overall the completion of my order was fast and in my opinion the service was sub-par. I wish I could give a review off of a hot meal however, they didn’t include everything for my order so I had to make the trip back to restaurant to pick up my missing item. By the time I got back my food was cold. We ordered the biscuits and gravy meal with a side of gravy. When I realized they forgot the gravy the guy that answered the phone informed that I ordered the meal biscuits and gravy not actual biscuits and gravy. He was quick to shut me down and didn’t let me explain. Once I told him they did not include the gravy at all he said well you can come back up here to get it. The breakfast tacos were subpar, the “insides” of the one of the tacos was actually on top or the out side of the taco. I couldn’t even pick it up. If you’re ordering to go check everything before you leave because from my experience the waitress / cooks did not check it and I left with an incomplete order.

A day of college football always needs to start off with a great breakfast. We stumbled upon this little diner and boy did it impress. We started with coffee and some drinks. My wife got the Bloody Mary with a Spice level of 4 out of 5. It hit the spot and had just the right amount of heat. I tried an AM Old Fashion which was amazing. Their little twist on an Old Fashion with added Cold Brew Coffee. It did not disappoint!!!! For the food, my wife got the Cowboy Burrito and I got the Biscuits and Gravy. The burrito was the right size and stuffed to the brim. The biscuits were scratch made and the house made gravy hit the spot. Will definitely be back!!!

I want to highlight how truly good this place is. I stopped here while traveling from out of town purely off other reviews. Now I understand. The food is to die for. I had the French toast and ordered a separate order of Eggs Benedict and loved it all. Their French toast is easily the best I’ve ever had. I had Michael as my server and he was very knowledgeable of the menu and nice. I would definitely like to come back here for the mimosas with some friends. Thanks for a great visit!

Food was decent. Although we got our food in intervals of 15minutes apart. My nephew got his Pancakes, but, the bacon was still cooking. My youngest nephew got bacon and eggs, but, no Pancakes, or fruit bowl. I got my meal. We waited 15mins for bacon and Pancakes and still No fruit bowl. And our food sat on the counter for 5mins before our waitress even acknowledged it. And the cost was almost $50 for a 4 yr old child's plate and my 10yr old nephews plate and my plate. We waited 25mins for a partial of our food.. Bad experience for a 4.5 star Diner..

This place is amazing. It was inexpensive, the food was unexpectedly different from any other "diner" I've eaten at. Simply amazing.

They have two different vegan gravy options so obviously I had to try both…(There’s an additional charge if you choose to go this route). I preferred the green chili cream gravy on my biscuits and put the brown gravy on the side of potatoes I ordered. Next time I want to try the plant based poutine.

I had the Chilaquiles with a Brunch Punch, and it was a fantastic Sunday late morning. Unfortunately my back was killing me most of the weekend, but my time at Sunnyside Diner definitely helped take my mind off of things. Every single worker I came into contact with or even just saw at all was super friendly, and the atmosphere was great. Definitely recommend!

Sunnyside is always a treat for me. The food and the atmosphere are soul soothing. I had the blueberry lemon french toast this visit, and it was beyond all expectations. Syrup was provided but not needed at all- the blueberry lemon compote was delicious - a perfect balance of sweet and tart.

Great place to grab breakfast. The Mimosas are a must. The chicken fried steak was delicious. Hash browns were good and crispy. I can't wait to take my family here! Keep up the good work, guys, and thanks!

Came in from St. Louis on a work trip, tried multiple restaurants in brick town for breakfast. They were overpriced and underwhelmed. On the last day I tried sunny side with my six year old, the entire place oozes warmth. The workers are here kind, thoughtful and friendly. When I told one Manager my daughter liked sausage and gravy . He brought her over a link to try- he was right ! It was great!! We also had the best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had!

I frequent this spot, and really appreciate the food, atmosphere, and staff. I often go for scrambled eggs, hash browns, coffee, but have never had anything less than delicious here. French toast with fruit is amazing, as are the biscuits, pancakes, omelettes, chilaquiles, you name it. Sydney and everyone I've ever been served by is really pleasant, and on top of their game. The GM, Candice, is actively involved in making the place great, and was really great to chat with too.

Sunnyside is my favorite brunch spot. The California Benedict and green chili breakfast burger are both delicious. Eggs are always cooked perfectly. Who can resist a Sunday morning?

Ordered Fat Elvis pancakes.. not bad. Not as much bacon or pecans as pictured but the banana n peanut butter was great. Ordered soft scrambled eggs but got the hardest scrambled eggs I've ever had. Mentioned it to the waitress, who was clearly overworked, and nothing became of it. Mimosa was the high point. Sat outside and maybe that was the issue? Not a fan!

Food was great! We ate the Sausage biscuits and gravy, the avocado bacon omelet, and the Elvis pancakes. Portions are a good size, too. To go boxes were needed for the omelet and pancakes. My very picky eating 7 yr old daughter ate all of the adult size biscuits and gravy, eggs, and most of the bacon. Coffees were great too. The bailey's coffee was especially good. Our waited was not great but the rest of the staff was wonderful. It seemed like she was new or something.

This was a perfect breakfast for a day of sedate sightseeing. The restaurant was fairly crowded when we first arrived, but it was more than worth the 30 minute wait. Every food item offered here is surprisingly huge and easily a filling meal unto itself. The omelettes don't skimp on the toppings and the cinnamon roll would on its own be enough to serve as a hearty breakfast. Despite the restaurant being crowded, our waitress Jessica was prompt and effective.

We were traveling from Atlanta and decided to hit this spot based on the reviews!! So happy we did!!!! Friendly staff, classic diner atmosphere, and very very delicious food! I got the “Hillbilly Hash”, and I’ve never had anything like it before! I will definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast or lunch, anytime!

Fantastic Breakfast with a great staff. We have gone on busy Saturdays and Sundays and waited only a max of 20 minutes. The breakfast choices are great no matter what but the Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs and the Chilaquiles are awesome. The food combined with adult coffee and mimosas by the bottle and the great staff make this place a must stop!
