If you will notice, 99% of these reviews are from people just joining. Thats because they offer you a free lanyard or water bottle if you post a review as you’re standing at the counter signing up. Meaning none of these people have even used the gym yet so how can you even review something you’ve never used. I declined to give them a review upon signing up and wanted to wait until I’d actually spent some time in the gym. Overall it’s decent. It’s super crowded in the morning and after work, but rest of the day is fine. It’s clean. Staff isn’t super friendly and not helpful at all if you have account issues as they apparently have no access and make you call a number during business hours when most of us are working so inconvenient, but not a huge deal. My biggest complaint is the temp. It’s consistently freezing cold in cardio area and occasionally in the weight area. You shouldn’t have to workout in a hoodie and sweatpants. It’d be nice if locker room had hair dryers attached to walls like Golds Gym does, less you’d have to bring with you. It’s not a terrible gym, and you get what you pay for, but doubt we stay past our one year contract. I’ve worked out in a lot of gyms and not overly impressed with this one.

In keeping with the message of Philippians 4:8, I wanted to take a moment to point out something that is excellent and praiseworthy. I’ve been paying a gym membership fee (of some sort) since the mid 1980’s – so I’ve seen many, many gyms in my life. When you say you offer a “great value fitness experience in a positive environment,” I couldn’t agree more. However, I just wanted to write a few lines to pour out praise for several employees on Team Colaw that are the very foundation for that “positive environment” (in Oklahoma City). In all my years of attending gyms, I’ve never seen a harder working group of people than Traci, Kelly, Laura and Elijah. My wife and I LOVE their kindness and LOVE their Herculean efforts to keep the gym clean. Their work ethic AND attitude is absolutely amazing. It is the cleanest gym I’ve ever been a part of, and we are grateful to them for their hard work. If you want to know what EXCELLENCE IN ACTION looks like, look no further than Traci, Kelly, Laura and Elijah.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. All is fine until you want to end your contract, then the trouble starts. We had to pay nearly $250 to get out of my husbands contract. He went in person, turned in his fob and was told that since it was already the middle of the month, he would be automatically charged for the next month, which he was. Then again, the following month, and the next, and the next and so on for a total of 4 months. Each month we were told, it was an error and they would fix it. Finally, we cancelled the credit card, then received a "collections" letter from ABC Anytime Fitness Finance Company saying that we were past due and would owe another $130 to terminate the contract. Keep in mind that my husband had already been a member for over a year, so them saying that we had to finish paying for the 1 year contract was bogus. Since we moved out of state, we have thrown our hands up and just paid it. If you decide to join, DO NOT DO AUTO PAY. You will never get out of it.

Staff was super nice and it easy to sign up! My favorite part that it is a Christian based gym, free Bible offered, I love it!! I'm ready & feeling encouraged to start my journey.

This gym is an exceptional place. I like it because it runs 24/7, clean, has many workout equipments. The staff I met at the customer service by the name Elvis was awesome. Very polite, professional, just to name a few.

Great gym, great price, very clean and new. There are a few cons that I will list below: - It gets CROWDED - There is a cancellation fee if you cancel before the first year - There is an annual fee if about 40 dollars. Keep in mind most gyms have these fees. If you only want to go a month or two Gold's gym offers monthly plans without any fees. There are free massage and tanning beds if that's your thing.

I recently joined Colaw Fitness and had the pleasure of working with Joshua. He went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience at the gym. Joshua's knowledge of the gym equipment and workout routines is impressive and he was more than happy to help me with any questions I had. His customer service skills are top-notch and he truly made me feel welcomed at the gym. I highly recommend Joshua and Colaw Fitness to anyone looking to achieve their fitness goals. 5 stars! Updates: We started our weight loss/ healthier lifestyle style journeys, at this gym back in January. Love this place. They are always cleaning and staff are friendly, inviting and also always there to help you out. They have plenty of different stages of workout equipment! Tanning beds are usually clean but sometimes they miss the top glass of the lay down beds. My only complaint is the shower have a 2-3 min of luke warn before it gets very cold! 😞 Attention Management , if possible can you adjust temperature of the showers…can you give us like 7- 9 minutes of (hot water) showers time please 🙏. I only ask because some relying on a hot shower to get clean before work. Sincerely pleased though. The members and the staff at this gym are always pleasant and I feel very safe and free here. I would most definitely recommend this gym.

I was excited to find a gym that looked great on the website and was excited about a trainer and nutrition program but when I was signing up and trying to ask questions Sandy said she didn’t know and pointed in a corner and told me there were some papers over there and that might help. (There was just a flyer advertising it, no information on how to get started or anything.) She told me there were no trainers and to just scan the machine with my phone and it will tell me how to use the machine. If I wanted to be treated rudely, I would have just stayed where I was at.

Very friendly people! I heard it went under new ownership this last few months, so far everything has been great! The staff is nice, the place is well maintained and clean. The tanning beds are great as well. New bulbs and they have a stand up and a lay down. It's not a huge gym but I like the atmosphere of it being smaller. And they offer boxing lessons from professionals! I'll be trying that out!

I’ve been trying to sign up here all week long with no success. There is no way to sign up online, you have to do it in person. No one is ever there during their ‘staffed’ hours, no one answers the phones or return your calls. If it’s this hard to sign up I can’t imagine what a nightmare it would be to cancel. Plenty of other gyms that would accept my money. Should be a 0 Star.

I just returned to Anytime Fitness on Hefner in the Crest Grocery Center. I have not been able to workout for about 2 years due to surgery. I was suprised to see a new owner and a very clean gym and no dirty sock smell. The owner is actually on site and very friendly. Also for Senior Citizens they accept Silver Sneakers users.

I am in the process of looking for a gym to join. I stopped by this Anytime Fitness location for some information since it is close to my workplace. I found out the gym has new ownership. The people i talked with seem very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They said will help me set up a workout plan and will help keep me on task. They showed me around and the facility is clean, which is my number 1 condition. I have been to two other places and I am really leaning towards this one.

Great place for a workout. Friendly staff, very responsive to issues and all machines work as they are supposed to. My only knock would be that they seem to have trouble getting the TV's on the treadmills fixed, but I am there to run, not catch up on the latest episode of The Bachelor. Great gym.

I'm giving 5 stars even though I have only worked out once. I LOVE that they play worship music across the whole facility. From the bathrooms, to the fitness room and beyond, everything was super-clean. Everyone was friendly too. I look forward to my fitness journey with Colaw Fitness!

This gym needs some serious TLC. The bathrooms and showers are horrible. Buckets under every sink and the shower head is a dribble of water. There is a wide variety of gym equipment but it’s dirty and needs some serious cleaning. Won’t be visiting this location again.

The managers Jordan and Laura were extremely helpful explaining the membership plans and the best option for me. The facility was clean and well organized. I’m excited to start my new fitness journey at Colaw Fitness workout gym.

Anytime Fitness at Hefner and Rockwell is a fantastic gym. The employees are there to help and assist along with the owner. The owner Rob is very dedicated to help each and everyone who works out there. He is a great trainer and motivator for you to meet your goals. Very clean facility. Also has the equipment for boxing which is a great way to get in shape as well go see Rob I promise it’s worth it!!!!!!!

I've been a member at this gym longer than I have any other, and that says a lot. The owner is there every day, nearly all day. He offers personal training, but it isn't just one size fits all training. He actually LISTENS to his client's goals and forms his plan around them. He is consistently encouraging, motivational, and challenges you to do better each time. The gym is always clean, the staff is always friendly, and other members are respectful to each other. It's a very comfortable environment.

My son just started working out there and had a free training session. He followed it and now can barely move and will down 1 to 2 weeks recovering. If I could cancel it for him I would but he is locked in for a year. I told him to do his own research and to start slowly. I should say I don't know all the amenities and if you know what you are doing give it a look and see if it is right for you. But if this is the beginning of your fitness avoid it. You get what you paid for. Update: I have told my son to contact you, but my advice still stands. Your team needs to do a better job giving advice on working out to newbies that will trust them. Working out to failure is not a gold standard nor even fully proven to be effective. Pre and Post workout should be as important at the actual workout types and how to give your client the best information to productively use your facility. My son did say your massage chair was nice and they receive 10 free minutes.

Staff is kind and professional! Tyler was a huge help and knowledgeable when we were joining. It is a little bit warm, but is clean and has enough machines that even when busy doesn’t feel crowded. Definitely recommend!

Rob the trainer and owner runs a great gym. His one on one training sessions are top notch.

The staff was really nice and the gym is super affordable, but I think the hygiene at the gym can be more encouraged, by either placing more cleaning stations, putting up signs on all equipments, and having the staff remind people to wipe the equipment after themselves. I think if people took care of the place better, it would be in a much better shape. Also some of the massage chairs are in dire need of replacement, as they are torn up and tattered.

I LOVE this place! Came with a friend and had to get a membership. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great equipment. Stopped in on my lunch break and Laura got me signed up QUICK.

The equipment is great and atmosphere is good. It can get crowded at time, probably because of the cheap membership. The staff is less than desired, and the cleanliness is poor. Would definitely think twice before using the showers. The “24/7”is also misleading as they can’t staff the gym and have to close. It’s very unfortunate expecting to workout and the doors locked, especially after taking a Pre and my face is all itchy! Not sure if the inconsistency is worth the cheap price.

Staff was very welcoming and friendly. I received a simple explanation of the available plans and the sign up process was quick and easy. The facility is nice and clean and the atmosphere very welcoming. Thank you to the staff for making me feel welcome and important and for helping me get one step closer to my health goals.

Colaw Fitness is a great place to workout. It has a family oriented and Christian environment. The staff is friendly and works consistently to keep the facility and workout machines clean. Their rates are affordable and they only charge a small fee to bring a guest.

I've worked out at a dozen gyms and fitness centers and Colaw is the PERFECT mix of everything. VERY clean, new equipment, tons of space to spread out, multiple squat racks, 3 huge sets of dumbbells, tons of cardio equipment. Everything you could need. And the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, they're constantly cleaning. Emma was super nice, greeted us with Huge smiles and was very informative in helping us sign up for our $5 per month memberships! Very cool place, highly recommended!

Just wanted to say Jo is an amazing employee. I’ve seen him cleaning the gym up, making sure everyone who goes in AND out gets a greeting and a goodbye. He’s a professional man. Had a good talk with him, keep him around. He definitely keeps my morale and motivation up when I come in.

I love coming here early in the morning. Jo is awesome, the palace is always clean and he works he but off to keep it that way. Also he is very friendly and great with members. Keep up the great work Jo. I've been coming here for about a year and a half. Jo has been the best employee that I've seen working here.

Very disappointed in customer service and the fact that the men's shower room has been down and you can't use showers for over a week. Due to my hectic work schedule I have to be able to shower right after going to the gym. I Continue to be told that they have no idea when the showers are going to be fixed. We understand that things break but when asking to speak to a manager every day I keep being told they're not available and they don't know where the manager is. Showers are pretty important part of the reason that I joined the gym and without shower facilities it's impossible for me to drive to the gym workout and make it all the way back home again to get cleaned up to get to work on time. All I'm asking is when might the showers be fixed but all I get is a bunch of shrug shoulders and a bunch of I don't knows. The private shower area was the biggest reason for joining. When will we be able to use the showers again?

Chris was wonderful in getting me set up he was very clear with the instructions on the plans and he got me going really fast he was very helpful with other things like my phone was completely dead so he helped me get it charged so I could get my application in and he just had excellent customer servicE skills. Kylee was very sweet and helpful showing me around the place and did me set up with a locker and tanning I would recommend these guys with this place to anybody

This is the best gym! The membership is affordable & it includes tanning & massage chairs. Open 24/7 & we go around 7am, it's not busy at all. Take your ear buds unless you like listening to Christian music.

It is very hard to find good customer service. But Colaw Fitness in Oklahoma is not lacking in such regard. Keeli one of the representative there is exceptional in customer service. I will recommend any one to join this gym like I did.

Luke, the personal trainer was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I definitely will be using the services that he can provide. Becca was very pleasant and knowledgeable as well! The membership and personal training prices are very competitive.

Update and lowering to 3 stars: I left my wallet in a locker, called the gym to check... There's a customer service answering service in another building but no phone number to contact the gym. Hugely stupid customer service oversight. This gym needs to put it's employees in a position to help clients, not have employees ask me to write a Google review. Employees are still great, but corporate's program is very questionable. Not the first time I've gotten this feeling from Colaw Fitness. Good gym, lot of people there for many different reasons, all good. Had really helpful service from Troy and Luke. I like the gym after hearing about the founder's story and philosophy, I just hope it doesn't start to have a top-down corporate vibe like a lot of other Gyms, and there were a few parts of my experience that suggest it could go that way.

All gyms are the same on the inside. Weights, cables and cardio. The people that work here are the difference. The trainers are so helpful and encouraging and really care about you reaching your goals. I watch them inspire people to have a healthier life day after day, myself included.

2nd time I've been to this location and there's a problem with the tanning bed not working so I'm standing here and nobody is here to help. Really frustrating.

Very bad management and noisy place, it was a way better place when it was corporate owned The new owner turned this place to a boxing club so it's always noisy and all the machines are occupied by his trainees,not enough space for the rest of the Members to work out unless if you get there too early or too late,bathrooms and showers are too dirty and disgusting.

Was a member for a year and a half... my contract was over i guess and was locked out of the gym, no call or warning... really needed to workout yesterday I went home very angry, wasted my time and effort... i’m glad my contract is done, looking for a new gym today...

Not very big but stays clean and keep the bulbs in the tanning beds changed on a regular basis so they actually work unlike a few other places I tried.

Sign up was super easy, and Sandy was very informative in the membership options and pricing. She did her best to make sure I got the best deal and reassured me in my options. Very personable people and clean nice smelling gym. 🙂

It’s great otherwise but they don’t believe in air conditioning. It’s so hot during the summer they may as well leave the doors open.

I wasn’t so sure about this gym because I’ve been going to two other gyms for the past 2yrs. But when I came in and checked it out I ended up loving this place! I feel comfortable and relaxed working out and all the staff are extremely helpful and nice. I thank God I have a gym that I like and found that’s “my gym” 😊❤️ And another thing I like is there hydro massage beds. They are the same as the other two gyms. Then yesterday I noticed some other seats I’ve never seen before and it’s like getting a real massage by someone from head to toe!! The best part for me personally is it’s a Christian facility!!❤️☝🏻🙌🏻🙏🏻

Mandy was extremely helpful when joining. All staff has been kind and courteous and the gym has been clean. It does feel a little crowded in the evenings but there are enough machines that it doesn’t matter too much. Overall would recommend.

I just signed up. First impression is the gym is nice and clean. Mandy at the front desk explained the membership fees in a way I could understand. I don’t need a lot from my gym, just a place to walk, tan, occasionally lift weights and I’m excited to get started. Thanks Mandy!
