I came here with my friends group not really expecting much. I have grown up volunteering and love volunteering (I know, weirdo) so I have been in quite a few establishments. This was the most organized, clean, never slow, not a waste of my time feeling, and friendly volunteering I have ever participated in for an establishment like this. Usually it feels disorganized or like you should be doing more, but these people really have it down to a science on how to best utilize their volunteers. Now we organized food products into boxes according to weight so I don't know how other volunteering opportunities go there, but I am assuming everything is clockwork at RFB after my last experience. If you are looking for mindless volunteering where you move a lot, dance to music, love meeting new people or want to hang/work with friends, and want to find out instantly how many families your hard work will bring food too. Go here. Plus there staff is really friendly and helpful. Bonus they are very organized in logging your hours if you are needing it documented. I would come back.

Great organization, helping the local community. They are easy to get ahold of for volunteering. They replied promptly when we had questions for our group volunteer night!

Our union division dedicates a weekend every year around Thanksgiving to help out with those who need it. This is super fun and gives you a great feeling about yourself. Anyone who wants to help and volunteer just contact the Regional Food Bank and register.

this is a great place to help out families in need of help with food. They will give you an emergency basket and then refer you to other locations to get more than just for a day. They're very friendly and helpful to people who are in need.

A Great Cause and Extremely Problematic The food bank feeds a lot of people. The food bank helps a lot of people. Please know, however, that you are volunteering alongside people working off community service. There can be, and have been, men willing to offer or suggest uncomfortable, inappropriate things to the young and vulnerable looking. The food bank also uses prison labor, thus feeding into our state's problematic relationship with for-profit prisons. They help a lot of people, but it's been at the cost of ignoring or condoning others being harmed.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Their system at conducting their volunteer work was very organized and the facility is very clean as well. I enjoyed coming here and volunteering and plan to come more often to do what i can to help this awesome company. A Bazillion +stars

Approximately 60 members from The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Mustang 1st Ward provided above for the Regional Food Bank of OKC. We packed food to be distributed to hungry children's backpacks, it was an amazing experience and we hope to be able to serve again in the future!!!

What a great volunteer experience. Those in charge have really got this process down. Every one should jump in and sign up online for a day and time to help. They are organized, and the night we were there, we even had live entertainment. Excellent process!

This was our first time volunteering (me and my 2 teenage boys) and it was great. We all found it very rewarding and the staff is nice. We go back every two weeks to volunteer!

My school and I went to volunteer yesterday. The staff were fantastic, nice work enviroment. But most importantly, we along with the other group that day and even the staff was helping too prepared food to be sent out to the unfortunate. So thank you for giving me this opportunity!

I volunteered here with members of my department at work. We teamed up with other volunteers and had a blast, while doing something great for our community. It’s definitely a team building experience! They played some classic songs from the 80s for us to jam out to while we worked. My line had people from another organization and we got to get to know them while we worked! The Regional Food Bank offers lockers to store your personal items securely, and the building is very clean! A great place for volunteer hours for anyone! Honestly, my favorite volunteer experience I’ve had in such a long time! 10/10 experience!!!!

I bring my kiddos here (elementary aged) to volunteer on Saturdays! Originally I was court ordered but we genuinely love it and the people who work here make it so much better than expected ❤️ we'll be coming back weekly to volunteer

There is no other feeling like doing something to help someone that can never pay you back. While I understand that volunteering isn't for everyone I believe that everyone should volunteer before saying that volunteering isn't for them. I now volunteer every week.

They do really good work here and I was proud to get a chance to volunteer. If you are going to be packing boxes and have a bad back like me, I'd advise bringing a lower back brace because you will legit be doing some hard work, but it is a very rewarding experience. If you can get a group of volunteers together, this organization makes it easy to do something good for the community.

This place teaches you the reason behind the cause before allowing you to participate and to me it helps you put your heart in every package you pack and every box wrap. The staff is very knowledgeable and caring to the ones who will receive the goods. But the warehouse is truly worth seeing. Word of advice don't volunteer if you don't plan on working!!!

This place makes enough money to pay for help. There should not be any volunteers. I came here many years ago for food, and was turned away, given a list of churches and got a rotten loaf of bread and expired food from a local church. The salary of the management of this charity is six figures.

The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma keeps many families from going hungry. They provide food for our school food pantry. I don't know what our families would do without them. Thank you!
