    Warning, billed later and sent to collections after told my account was fine and I had a working card on file. I was a member here and while I was a member I had no issues. Paid on time every month and used the facilities regularly without issue. When I moved, I no longer would be near a Gold's therefore I cancelled my membership with the front desk. Spoke to the front desk to cancel, attendant took care of it and told me my gym access would be cut off after 30 days -- normal stuff, no problem. I asked if there were any fees or payments left and I was told "No, you're good to go". I went to the gym a couple more times, then moved thinking everything was fine. 6 months go by and suddenly I'm getting calls from collections agencies saying I owe the Gold's money after I had specifically been told everything was good to go. I have a hard time verifying this and why the amount is higher than what a monthly payment would have been despite being told my account was good and having a valid card on file. And I was informed there were no cancellation fees when I cancelled. Collection calls are nearly unintelligible due to loud call center noises and strongly accented English, which I believe is farmed out to foreign collections agencies. Despite being off-put by the entire experience, I go ahead and pay. A month goes by without word and suddenly I'm getting calls yet again, this is ridiculous. I'd had a favorable view of Gold's but can't recommend anyone sign up given how this has been a nightmare to cancel a membership.

    DON'T DO IT! They get you with the no contract and no hidden fees, on $25 per month - however, you WILL pay $42 for the first month (hidden fees) and you will receive a contract that in order to get out of it, you must submit your cancelation in writing, not only to golds themselves, but also to the store - in person, as well as a separate email to a 3rd email address. This is not month to month/no contract, with no hidden fees.

    Avid gym goer for about twenty years. I love this place. Excellent layout. Great equipment. No frills - my favorite part. Was at Lifetime for a year. This surpasses that place, IF you are looking for a place to get a good work out, rather than have a nice, social experience. They have everything you need, and plenty of it, from free weights and kettle bells to mats, machines and cardio equipment. Super nice staff and easy membership. Clean bathrooms and equipment.

    Hardest gym to leave & they harass you. We cancelled our membership and were told we’d be charged once more because of 30 day policy - which is fine, many gyms have this policy… but they stated they never received our final month payment and sent us to a collection agency for a $50 gym membership. We paid the agency and now are continuing to be harassed for another $52 saying we still owe more. Don’t understand how a couple could owe $102 for a “final unpaid month” when the gym membership is supposedly $25-35/person a month with “no cancellation fees” Do not join this gym. corporate scumbags.

    DO NOT USE GOLDS GYM! Tried to cancel membership when Covid got bad and my local Golds permanently closed. This was the next closest location so they were contacted to cancel, refered me online, that referred me back to this location. They then tell me all cancellations must be made with the gym in joined at...which is closed. I tried to contact corporate, sent emails, made calls...and finally blocked charges with my bank since no one would call me back or reply. I spent 20 hours on something that should have taken 3 minutes. Then they turned me over to collections and once again tell me in order to dispute, I must call the gym in signed up through and offer no solution when I say they closed it permanently. Worst morals, ethics and professionalism of any business I have experienced and I use to work B2B.

    I smelled someone vaping and I complained to the staff and they laughed and did not take it serious. I have asthma......i have since talked to the manager and he said unless I saw it no one was ever vaping there, i asked him what was I supposed to do , barge into their office during the day to inspect their employees to catch them vaping. Indoor tobacco vaping causes terrible indoor pollution not suitable for a gym, and he laughed at me and said he was the regional manager and there would be bo one else to complain to

    I intentionally paid the extra fee upfront to have the ability to cancel without penalty because I knew how I always do gym memberships. When it came time to cancel, I could not do it over the phone, I had to go in person. Tried the first time, and the manager had already gone home for the evening. Tried again in the morning and the manager was not scheduled to be in until after 10:00a. I tried again the next morning, and the manager was still not in at 10:30a. Frustrated, the counter person reluctantly gave me the cancellation paperwork and in the 20 minutes I was there, the manager had still not come in, which would make the manager of the store an hour late for their job. The icing on the cake was that I received a letter from a collections agent about a month later for over $150 (cancellation fee and a month’s membership fee). For being one of the most expensive gyms in the city, you sure don’t act like it.

    I’ve never had a bad experience here, the staff is always nice and ready to help. The bathroom is always clean even around 5pm, and I haven’t had a weird encounter here. This gym is the gym to be at!

    A better facility than Edmond ,it's bigger new equipment sauna was open steam room closed unfortunately but Edmond entire pool sauna are completely closed permanently, after covid and not reopening the members didn't know either. It was said after I joined it cost too much to operate and in the next 2 to 3 yrs it will be remodeled. I'll be looking for a new facility by year's end.

    After trying many different gyms around OKC, Golds Gym really is the best gym. A good free weight and functional area, saunas, clean locker rooms, and very friendly staff.

    The Walmart greeter attacked me even though that I had the receipt visible in my hand he made eye contact with me while I was putting on my jacket before going outside this Walmart employee refused to show me his employee bad and stated that I had no rights while on property I am very displeased with the transaction that I just had literally going to tackle me over a piece of plastic not even $10 value

    They are cleaning equipment all day long and most people are socially distanted and wearing masks. Locker room is always clean. So far a great experience at this gym.

    Every time I come in the attendees are kind and friendly, the gym is very clean and easy to navigate. I'd really suggest getting a membership here if you are thinking about it. You can use any location, and there are so many amenities that you have access to.

    Love this location. Rarely busy and has all the equipment and space you need. I wish they were open longer on the weekends but I love that it’s late during the week. It’s always clean and the staff is always friendly. There’s a chic that walks around and just puts up equipment and cleans stuff. Racquetball, boxing and tons of rooms for classes! Love this gym!

    Based upon the low reviews and low overall score, Im taking a Hard Pass. Seems management needs reeducation in customer service and their enrollment numbers reflect the same. Im certain another location would be beneficial.

    This is my home away from home. I've tried several different gyms around the city but Golds is by far my favorite. Now that they're price has went down, even better. I like the vibe there. Might not be for everyone but its my type of vibe.

    On the fence, looking past bad reviews and the same awkward continual and exiting billing experience(unavoidable), previously used Golds and loved it. My now closest gym only has one sauna opt, limited hours, still full price at $30 mo or something annual. I just don’t know about paying for partial what is standard at other locations. Why pay full, drive extra because my closest gym isn’t fully equipped and if I don’t like it, it’s difficult to cancel. Ijdk

    Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Every single one of their locations are shady. I will never be back to any gold's gym again. Overpriced and shady business practices.

    I love this golds gym location! It's nice,very clean and,very spacious..it's never crowded. I have never had any issues with this location! Be it canceling membership,re-enrolling..nothing at all!! I just hate the fact that they closing this location 😭😭.This has been my home for about 3-4yrs,am really heartbroken and sad 😔. The other locations are nothing compared to this.. I will surely miss Golds Northwest location. It's so hard to say goodbye😔😔😔😭😭
