We stayed in Fox Squirrel #53 for the weekend. The park was pretty empty and very quiet. The space was set up differently with the hooks ups, fire pit, picnic table, and grill all on the drivers side of the RV. The bathrooms were close. To get to the lake water was a bit of a jaunt but walkable. There is a park a short distance away across the other side of the street. The nature center has live animals and live snake feedings on Saturday. There is a restaurant within a three minute walk of the site in the other side of the road that has a life size Jenga game and all y oh can eat catfish. Lake Ten Killer is one of the best lakes in Oklahoma and you can rent a pontoon boat and tube from Pine Cove Marina only a few miles away. The temperature near the water is about ten degrees colder than the campsites of you decide to go for an early morning walk. The bathrooms were decent and not as bad as some of the reviews would lead you to believe. You can buy camp fire wood at the park if needed.

This camping area is great! It had power hookup but no sewer. My spot was right on the lake and it was beautiful. Didn’t visit the restrooms so can’t talk on those but a great place to camp beside the lake and it only Cost $18, for the night.

Despite triple digit temps we had a great weekend; one night with grandkids and one to ourselves. The nature center is fun and educational and they have several activities for littles. The pool area also has a splashpad so young and old can enjoy.

We stayed in Shady Grove. Loved the shade. Spots were really long, but a little narrow. No bathroom or showers at Shady Grove though. The swimming area wasn't too far away and had a bathroom/shower. The lake was awesome. Super clean and clear. Bring swim shoes because it is rocky, not sandy. The pool was great also. It has slides, a rock wall and a small splash pad in the shallow end. We will definately come back again.

This is a decent park, but the bathrooms need to be updated. The lake is beautiful and close to the dam and cliffs.

We often go to enjoy days, weekends, and special occasions at Pine Cove. We especially love as we do it every year on 4th of July. It's just an awesome experience. Sometimes words and pictures just doesn't do it justice.

Great park. Lots of cabins, RV hookups and large shelters available. Marina on site (Pine Cove Marina) is great with lots available including maintenance services if you need it (even for big boats). Scuba area is really cool with sunken vehicles.

Great little park with easy parking for your camper or rv. Full hookups on the site a few good little hiking trails, and close to all the docks for boating. We really enjoyed our stay there.

One of my favorite state parks! The park is really nice with Frisbee golf, a pool, a playground, nature center, RV campground, tent sites, cabins, and marina. Tenkiller is one of the best lakes in OK, so great spot if using the lake. Last year we stayed in a cabin, cannot recommend them, they are in need of updating, this year we took our RV and loved it. Stayed at Fox Squirrel, which has full hookups. Shady Grove does also, but the sites are really close (though a nice overlook nearby). Fox Squirrel is close to the nature center, marina and pool (which sadly wasn't even open, I wish the state parks had their own website with up to date information other than the terrible travel OK site). When open, the pool is also one of the best at the state parks with a rock wall and water slide. Walking trails are short and easy, multiple areas to access water (though the "beaches" are rocky). Marina is reasonably priced to rent a boat. All the tent sites look awesome if you can handle the heat!

Pine Cove was great! The whole area was very clean, no over flowing trash any where. The boat dock wasn't over flowing. Most of the time there is no parking at the boat dock parking and we have to go up the road to park the trailer. The water was clean, even the swimming area was well maintained. The marina is fully operational with gas available. There are several landings at Tenkiller so it is worth doing some recon to see where works best for you.

Beautiful views ,well kept grounds. I would like to see alittle more work done on the restrooms but we still come back as often as possible.

Tenkiller State Park is our go to when having a family get-together. The accommodations are simple, but well-maintained and clean. The lake and surrounding countryside are beautiful.

My mothers side of the family would have our reunions here. Beautiful lake for skiing and tubing. Fishing and swimming. They have a pool and a great Nature Center too. Their cabins are darling and good for relaxing. Highly recommended

Used to have three boats at Pine Cove Marina at Tenkiller State Park years ago. Moved away, came back to visit and show grandchildren and it didn't disappoint. Everything I had hoped for plus. Our grandchildren said best time "Ever"!! We will be back on another visit to Oklahoma.

Great cabin, just minutes from Dive Park. Visibility was good. School bus, a couple of small boats, and an airplane. All around 30-40 ft down. A helicopter, a toilet. All to see and explore. Not to mention, the fish seem to like the divers.

This campsite has a lot of options for the whole family. Lake Tenkiller is a Great Lake for fishing and boating and has a few spots for public swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving. Some of the campsites tent campsites need a little more grooming but that is about the only negative thing I have to say about the campground. There are a couple trails to hike around the area with places to stop and enjoy nature. Life jackets are available at the public swimming spots. Playgrounds and swimming pools are available for the whole family as well as a sand volleyball and basketball court to play on. Public bathroom and shower are available but did need some cleaning/maintenance.

We stayed over Labor Day 2022. The cabin wasn't very clean and smelled moldy. The grass was so tall we couldn't sit around fire pit or enjoy the area around the cabin. Poison Ivy was close to the cabin and all over the sitting areas which I am highly allergic to so we didn't use the tables, grill, or fire pit. For what we paid per night they could have at least weedeated and mowed.

Beautiful area. The visitors center was great and the fun to visit. Lots of places to picnic, fish, or just sight-see. We saw eagles πŸ¦… while we were there and can’t wait to go back.

One of my favorites so far. Employees are so nice and professional. One of the workers remembered me and my dog hiking at another park...made me feel special.❀ The trails are well marked, informative signage, and a great overlook. I suggest an evening stroll to watch sunset.

Great State Park with cabins, RV hookups and marina on site. Lake is awesome and has a SCUBA diving area with sunken vehicles to explore. Cliffs and hiking are a lot of fun.

Great place to visit, with plenty of lodging options. The campground facilities such as bathouses are very worn out, but the campsites are plentiful and feature water hookups at each site. We stayed on the Blue Jay Knob loop of the campground. There was spots with spectacular views of the lake. The campground office was very friendly and had some limited stock of camping supplies. But most importantly, they had Smores supplies! The state needs to do some major renovations of their parks, especially to compete with neighboring Arkansas and Missouri. But overall pleased with our stay.

Nice natural beauty. All facilities are dated. If they are charging fees for Oklahoma state parks, they should make sure that everything is nice and that there are, at least, doors on the showers. Pic included. Watch out for the nearby town cops.... The small cities have no real income, so taxing the citizens with tickets is the only way they make money. Check all of you lights, tag lights, glove box lights, and everything else... Cos they are. Overall this could be 5 stars, if they would put some of the money they are charging for day use, towards the facilities.

Stopped to take in the sights and sounds of the lake as well as get a few photos while I was there. The park ranger was very informative and provided a lot of good info about local birds and areas of interest.

😠 We were excited about our stay at Marval after several friends had great things to say about it. We rented a deluxe cabin near the back and checked in at 4. We unloaded our things and went to check out the river returning several hours later to a hot cabin. Neither air conditioners were working and...
