    5-Stars for responsiveness, service and professionalism! I called a handful of companies around Edmond to assess water damage in my home as a result of sewer line backup, and ultimately decided on 1-800 Water Damage to handle the water remediation. Rusty came out promptly to assess the situation and began the process shortly thereafter. I couldn't have been happier with the quality of work they performed and will sleep better knowing all of the water damage and mold has been taken care of!

    A gopher chewed through my pipe and flooded my house. By chance I reached out to 1800 water damage. Jacob Johnson and his team have been amazing! They cleaned up my house, called and checked on us, stayed in touch with my insurance adjuster. I feel this company does more than what’s expected. They have referred me to plumbers, carpenters, contractors, making this whole process as easy as possible. They’re always here when they say they will be, and always on time. I’m beyond appreciative of 1800 water damage!

    I am writing this review to express my utmost dissatisfaction with the services provided by 1800 Water Damage Company. My experience with them after the devastation caused by Hurricane IAN has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. I strongly urge others to avoid working with this company due to their lack of professionalism and unethical practices. Despite contacting Conrad Therrien (owner) and Project manager Joe Therrien, there was not any solution. Upon being contacted by 1800 Water Damage Company to provide general labor assistance, we were immediately instructed to send invoices for billing purposes. We diligently followed their instructions and submitted weekly invoices, hoping for a prompt response and payment. However, we received no acknowledgment or communication from their end. Eventually, after weeks of waiting, we received our first payment. However, instead of maintaining a professional approach, 1800 Water Damage Company abruptly contacted us to change our invoice method. Despite this unexpected change, we complied with their request in good faith, hoping for smoother interactions moving forward. Unfortunately, the situation took a turn for the worse when they outright refused to recognize overtime hours worked. We provided them with multiple proofs of our conversation with Joe Therrien, in which he explicitly inquired about overtime billing methods. Despite this evidence, they chose to ignore our explanations and simply insisted on paying us a lesser amount or no money at all. This blatant disregard for our agreement, coupled with their refusal to honor the work we put in, showcases their lack of responsibility, seriousness, and integrity. In conclusion, my experience with 1800 Water Damage Company has been a complete nightmare. Their unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and deceptive practices make them an unreliable and dishonest service provider. I strongly advise against working with this company, as they are nothing short of a scam. I sincerely hope that by sharing my experience, I can save others from enduring similar frustrations.

    We woke up to water everywhere in our home. That’s when we met 1-800 Water Damage. After a short phone conversation about our flood, a crew arrived on time and with all the needed equipment. They were set up and working within minutes of walking in our door. They worked quickly on the water extraction, and the diligence was obvious as every person that was in our home was working in an organized and effective process to get the water up and out of our home. Even when the crew took the time to move furniture and other home items, the clean up continued without stopping. Every step in the process was patiently explained to us with details that we could understand. It took several days to finish the clean up but they were with us every step of the way, checking up on us and making sure the equipment was working properly and doing what it was supposed to do. Our home was treated with respect and our family with importance, and the job was completed well. Andrew and Rusty and the entire crew that worked in our home treated our flood with expertise and professionalism above and beyond standard.

    1-800- Water Damage is top notch. Our technician Rusty was quick to respond and really knowledgeable. We were buying a home with visible mold on the carpet. He arrived on time for the appointment, explained the sampling process and did a full assessment of the home. He then followed up with me and took the time to explain the good and bad of our mold assessment in laymen terms easy enough for me to understand. If you are looking for a company who cares about the customer and not just getting a job you'll be happy you called them.

    1-800-Water Damage responded promptly to my emergency water leak. They took up my carpet, pads, baseboards and provided heavy duty fans and humidifiers. They also provided a pod which they packed, loaded and unloaded when the repairs were made. They were always on time and were polite and courteous. We appreciated their help.

    When it became aware that my house had a leak and mold was hiding everywhere, this company went above and beyond anything I’d imagined. The project manager Jacob Johnson, and his team are exceptional. They answered questions I didn’t know I needed. Anytime I needed them, they were available right away. The professionalism and attention to detail, plus the kindest manners of any contractors I have ever experienced made this difficult time simple and easy for me. I’m so grateful for the referral to 1-800-WaterDamage, I literally could not have gotten through this nightmare without them. Bottom line- they know their work and they know how to take care of their customers. 5+++

    We had a severe water incident that flooded the upstairs and caused a storm in our downstairs. After calling the insurance close to 9 pm, our insurance company listed 1-800 WATER DAMAGE as a mitigation company option. They weren't our first phone call but they were the first to respond. They showed up at 11:30 pm and immediately took charge of the situation. They pumped out water and then set up both places to dry. They worked with the insurance and kept us informed about the out-of-pocket expenses. They were quick to respond to phone calls & emails. They helped put us at ease after suffering through a traumatic house experience.

    We had a slab leak and within a few hours this company was hard at work removing water from our duct system. By the end of the day, all wood laminate flooring had been removed, and plans had been made to come back to complete the work. Jacob Johnson was very professional as were the guys on his team. He was genuinely concerned that any damage caused by the water would be mitigated. They were consiensious and responded to all our questions. My sense was also that they had received training regarding dealing with customers in crisis. They were patient with our questions, and took us through the process step by step. The team was communcative and puctual. We were very pleased with the quality of service. They worked directly with our insurance adjuster which made things much easier for us. I would highly recommend this company to family and friends alike.

    When I had a slab leak that caused flooding in my kitchen my insurance called these guys. Rusty arrived so quickly and had his crew to my place in no time to make sure everything was properly taken care of. I’ve never gone through anything like it before and Rusty was so incredibly helpful with educating me on my options. In such a horribly stressful scenario, it was so comforting to feel like I actually had someone in my corner. God forbid I ever have another leak, but if I do I will be calling 1800 Water Damage again.

    I was devastated after my home I just recently bought had a backup causing water to leak into two bedrooms and my bathroom. 1- 800 Water Damage was who my insurance referred for water mitigation and Jacob Johnson responded within hours of them assigning them. He was able to get out the same day and help me figure out a plan to move forward. He assessed the damage at my home and explained everything to me so that I understood it clearly. When he crew came out they were beyond professional. They moved everything with care and cleaned everything impeccably. If anyone I know ever needs water mitigation services I will never hesitate to recommend 1-800 water damage.

    We had a plumbing problem in a large house that covered almost every room in water. Several people told us to contact 1-800 Water Damage. Their response was overwhelming which is just what the situation required. A large crew came and removed all the wood floor, carpet, etc. and set up all the equipment needed to thoroughly dry out the house. Rusty, Jacob, and crew were especially friendly and explained everything. We will remain always grateful for all their care, attention, and extremely hard work during a very stressful time. I highly recommend 1-800 Water Damage. By the way, the house now looks and smells amazing.

    My experience with 1800 Water Damage was deeply disappointing. I volunteered to help after Hurricane Ian through a temp agency they hired me from. Unfortunately, I've never been paid for my work because 1800 Water Damage failed to pay the temp agency. Their lack of communication and responsibility is unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering working with them to think twice. This company's treatment of its workers is unjust, and they should not be trusted.

    I am compelled to write this review to warn others about the unscrupulous practices of Water Damage, particularly their blatant disregard for paying their subcontractors. As a dedicated worker who was contracted through a staffing agency, I find it deeply disappointing and frustrating to have been left without complete payment for the work I performed during Hurricane IAN in Florida. Not only did Water Damage fail to fulfill their financial obligations to the staffing agency, but they also neglected to communicate any updates or provide me with a reasonable explanation for the delay in payment. I have been waiting for my hard-earned wages for an extended period of time, and the lack of response from Water Damage has been both disheartening and distressing. What makes this situation even more infuriating is the fact that Water Damage did receive full payment from the insurance company for the services rendered. It is unconscionable that they would prioritize their own financial gain at the expense of hardworking individuals like myself who contributed to their operations during a time of crisis. During my time working with Water Damage, I witnessed firsthand their complete disregard for the well-being and livelihood of their subcontractors. Despite the demanding nature of the job and the countless hours we dedicated to restoring homes affected by the hurricane, it is evident that Water Damage failed to appreciate our efforts and the importance of timely compensation. I implore anyone considering working for or hiring Water Damage to exercise caution and explore alternative options.     I regretfully express my dissatisfaction with working with this company and strongly advise against choosing them for your project. Initially, they seemed promising, responding promptly and appearing friendly. However, once the project was completed, their behavior took a drastic turn for the worse. They became completely unresponsive, failing to return phone calls or reply to any form of communication. Our attempts to reach out to the project manager, owner, and even sending emails and messages proved futile - they simply vanished without a trace. It would be wiser to hire a different company, such as Servpro, rather than wasting your time and resources on this unreliable and unprofessional organization. It is crucial to emphasize the company's poor communication as a significant flaw. While they initially demonstrated responsiveness and a friendly demeanor, this behavior drastically changed once they completed the project. Their sudden disappearance and lack of response left us feeling frustrated and abandoned. Despite our best efforts to get in touch with them, our concerns were met with silence. Effective communication is a fundamental aspect of any successful business relationship, and the complete absence of it in this case is unacceptable. When investing in a project, it is essential to work with a company that values open and transparent communication throughout the entire process. Unfortunately, this company fails to meet even the most basic expectations in this regard. Considering the lack of responsiveness and accountability displayed by this company, I strongly advise against choosing them for any future projects. It is wise to explore other options and seek out a more reliable and trustworthy service provider. Don't make the same mistake we did by entrusting your project to this unresponsive and negligent company.
