Pls Click helpful if it is. Great indian food. Buffet! Good variety including desserts. 🍽 Clean, old building but service was clean and staff friendly. 🥗 I ate buffet and it was all delicious! They had 3 chutneys, the usual, and 4 dessert options. 💰 Inexpensive, and glad they were able to survive the economy hit.

My experience at Taj, the Indian restaurant with a buffet, was nothing short of delightful! The moment I stepped in, I was welcomed by the warm ambiance and friendly staff. The buffet spread was truly impressive, offering a delectable array of flavorful Indian dishes. From the aromatic curries to the tantalizing tandoori specialties, each bite was a burst of authentic Indian flavors. The attentive service from the staff, who were happy to explain the different dishes, added to the overall wonderful dining experience. I left Taj feeling satisfied and with a newfound appreciation for Indian cuisine. I highly recommend Taj to anyone seeking a taste of India's culinary treasures. 👏🍛

What a great restaurant, with a HUGE choice of delicious dishes in their almost round-the-clock buffet, and a very friendly service. While in Oklahoma City for three days, I ended up going there all three days. I highly recommend it, especially for vegetarians like myself who may find it difficult to find something in a very meat-friendly Oklahoma. I counted at least 12 vegetarian dishes plus soups and vegan desserts in their buffet. My only complaint is that Taj Cuisine restaurant is in Oklahoma City and not in New York where I live (LOL).

After having tried all Indian restaurants in Oklahoma City, Taj has go to be my favorite for a couple of reasons:- 1. The food (taste and variety) is simply amazing. Do NOT miss their various Chicken curries. 2. It's clean and very spacious. & Most importantly 3. The staff is really polite and courteous and for this reason alone I'll come back here again.

We had a great experience at Taj. The environment is very relaxing and peaceful. The buffet is fully stocked with the best foods. No waiting for food to be made like at other buffets or few choices to pick from. All the dishes tasted great and there were too many amazing desserts to choose from. I highly recommend this place! We will visit here every time we are in OKC.

Really tasty and flavorful food at the buffet with a good choice. It’s NOT spicy except for one dish, so if you are Indian you might not like it; I assume that’s why other people said it is ‘bland’. My husband is American and loves it and he is always scared of Indian food 🤣 This will be our go-to place from now on!

The price of the buffet is a little high, but the food is good. Even my 13-year-old, who has never tried this cuisine, said it was his new 3rd favorite, next to Mexican and traditional Asian.

You know it's going to be good by the smell as soon as you walk in! We ordered the buffet plus the garlic nan bread and hot chai tea. Everything we tried was AMAZING but the chicken tiki masala was my absolute favorite! My husband doesn't usually eat Indian food but he went back 2 times for more chili chicken. The service was outstanding and when you order the chai tea the chef even comes out to pour it which was a show in itself.I can't wait to bring my mom and sister.

I am writing this review sitting in the parking lot after having eaten the best Indian food I have ever tasted. Everything about this meal was decadent, from the delicious, soft, garlic tandoori naan, to the perfectly textured and flavored basmati rice. The overarching star-of-the-show was the Lamb Chili Fry. I will say, hands down this is the best lamb fry I have ever had the absolute pleasure of eating! It was not only the food that made this establishment shine, though. Every single member of the staff here were so friendly during my visit and made me feel as if I sat down to eat dinner with family. Thank you to the staff of Taj for making this meal a memorable one! I will DEFINITELY be returning. UPDATE: I just came back to see if the Lamb Chili Fry is really as good as I thought. It definitely is!!! Perfectly seasoned, perfectly spicy. I couldn’t even wait to the end of the meal to update my review! If anyone ever asks me what to do in OKC, the first thing I’ll tell them is “You HAVE to eat at Taj”! I would eat here every day if I could!

We had the lunch buffet, I enjoyed tasting the wide variety of foods available. The Tikka Masala chicken was my favorite item on the buffet. The Naan seemed fresh and tasted very good. I had never tried the desserts before so don't know if they were "good or bad", but the bread pudding and small dough ball were delightful (i didn't catch the labels my apologies). It was not "upscale dining" per se but made an excellent cold day lunch for me. The atmosphere was quietly pleasant and tables and booths were available but filling quickly in the noon hour. I could see it potentially being very loud during peak times though due to the open layout. I would love to see a Tulsa location someday.

Great buffet here for $13.99 a person. Nice atmosphere. Lots of flavor. Get the chai and get the chef to pour.

Mango Lassi tasted amazing! (The drink) In regards to the food, I'm not big on spicy stuff, but it had enough kick to enhance all of the flavors. The staff were very pleasant and cared for their guests very professionally. Almost felt like I stepped into their home as a guest for dinner. Very lovely atmosphere. Definitely coming back soon!

We had been there for a lunch buffet over a weekend. The staff were good and the food we liked is the fried fish/ pakoda/ kesari sweet/white basmati rice with green peas.

I went here today for the first time, just going to order some food to go, not realizing it was a buffet. The woman greeted me immediately and assured me I could get food to go from the buffet and even went so far as to let me choose as she served everything into a container for me. I found this incredibly considerate and helpful, as she certainly didn't have to do that. I was happily surprised at the amount of vegetarian options and everything was still hot when I got home to eat. The food is DELICIOUS, so full of flavor! I also feel I got a substantially greater amount of food than I expected for the price, with generous helpings of 4 difference curries, 2 appetizers, rice and Naan for under $12. I will definitely be back and I truly appreciate how helpful and kind everyone was to me, I felt very welcome, and that means a lot to me because I'm shy in a new places.

Hands down one of the best Indian food places. You wouldn’t expect much from a typical Indian buffet, but this place rocks! Perfect amount of spice to compliment every dish. We are from dallas and occasionally drive to Oklahoma City, so we hit this spot up EVERY time and it never ceases to amazes us. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Definitely check them out if you’re ever in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

We had been out doing Halloween activities and wanted to eat real authentic India food. This place was it!!! We walked inside and was instantly greeted with a smile and a booth. My baby and I are vegan so it was a perfect menu and the buffet had fresh hot food. We love it here!! The women waiting on us were so kind, sweet and the atmosphere alone made the place feel like home. We will be coming back soon. Thank you for this little hidden gem. Not enough stars on here for The Taj.

The Taj Mahal, is a big mountain in India, the Taj in Oklahoma City is a small indian restaurant, with similar quality. I really wanted to praise the bufett, because the excellent service, but i cant. Over priced, over cooked and over rated it will be my first impression. The signs announce a to go lunch for 7 bucks but un saturday youll need about 20 bucks per person to eat in this very old and neglected location. Better luck in the future, but not for me. Im out. Oh! The bread was good.
