Apparently, Republicans don't like avocados or corn tortillas. I didn't know that ordering avocados and corn tortillas could be such a political statement. At Torchy's you can order a Republican or Democrat taco. The Republican comes with jalapeno sausage on a flour tortilla and the Democrat comes with barbacoa and avocado on a corn tortilla. What if you're a Republican, but you're also gluten intolerant? Do you put yourself through the pain of ordering a Republican taco even though the Democrat might be better for you? Or can you ask for democratic substitutions on your Republican taco? At that point, would you just be an independent? Anyways, I ended up getting the Mr. Orange taco and the Fried Avocado taco. They were delicious.

Grabbed a quick bite to eat at this place called Torchys! Cheese sauce was killer, tacos were bangin'! The shrimp tacos were a little short on shrimp but overall, I'd do it again! Not the best but not the worst either.

My first time here. The staff is friendly. Service was great. Food was awesome. I ordered chips and queso appetizer. I had the republican taco (I'm not kidding that's the name 😁 my cousin had the Democrat taco)

Torchy's Tacos, a beloved taco chain, has gained a reputation for delivering creative, flavorful, and sometimes unconventional taco combinations that leave a lasting impression on taste buds. With an array of distinctive flavors and ingredients, Torchy's has managed to carve out a niche in the competitive world of Mexican-inspired cuisine. One of the standout features of Torchy's Tacos is its commitment to using high-quality ingredients. From their tender and well-seasoned meats to their freshly made tortillas, the attention to detail in crafting each taco is evident. The menu boasts a diverse selection, catering to both traditionalists and those seeking adventurous flavor profiles. The "Trailer Park" taco with fried chicken, "The Independent" with portobello mushrooms, and the "Brushfire" with Jamaican jerk chicken exemplify the innovative combinations that have become synonymous with Torchy's. The atmosphere at Torchy's is casual and inviting, making it a popular spot for grabbing a quick bite or indulging in a leisurely meal. Many locations have a vibrant and energetic ambiance that adds to the overall dining experience. However, the popularity of Torchy's Tacos can sometimes lead to longer wait times during peak hours, and certain locations might become crowded. Additionally, prices might be slightly higher compared to some other fast-casual options, but the unique flavors and premium ingredients often justify the cost. Torchy's Tacos has succeeded in capturing the hearts of taco enthusiasts by blending traditional Mexican flavors with innovative twists, resulting in a menu that offers something for everyone. Whether you're in search of classic flavors or eager to explore new taste sensations, Torchy's Tacos delivers a memorable dining adventure.

Celebrated my granddaughter 15th birthday here and we had a great time. The food was tasteful, and the we service received was over the top. I would truly come back and highly recommend anyone to go to Torchy on Nw 63rd in Okc.

Overall good experience. The lady that took our order was very efficient and asked asked if we wanted to add any appetizers so we did. Tried the Mango Cart wheat beer which was very good. Business was a little slow but it was a dreary Sunday evening which meant our food came fast. Hillbilly Queso & Chips were a good starter and we were able to order half the usual size. Everything was very clean and good was good so no complaints at all. Will come back and use patio in better weather.

I’ve tried this place several times. I'm absolutely shocked people like this place. Over priced fancy hipster tacos. You get these tacos and they are over stuffed with unnecessary ingredients. Once you start eating it all falls apart and you're left with a plate of flavorless mush. Do yourself a favor and go to an authentic Mexican restaurant and get quality street tacos for half the price and twice the flavor.

I went a little often lunchtime. There were 5 or six other people eating, and I had no wait in line. Staff was friendly, and the service was quick. The food was fresh and tasty, with several different options. I ate straight off of the menu, but if I remember correctly from a different Torchy's, you can make adjustments. I would eat here again!

We ordered take out. When we came in to pick it up, there were no customers being helped and 3 staff members at the counter, no one spoke to us. Our order wasn't at the pick up counter, we filled our water bottles and got some napkins. Then our order was complete. While we double checked everything at the counter, still no one spoke. It seemed very rude. The food wasn't to the standard of a $100's worth of tacos. We could have gotten the same quality for 1/2 the price else where with staff that at least acknowledged us. The inside was clean and the overall vibe was cool but that was overshadowed by the rudeness of the employees. I am not returning.

Torchy's was amazing! I went during happy hour. I got "trashy" taco, and I wanted to try a vegan taco. I'm not a vegetarian, but let me tell you! That vegan taco was on point! The margarita special during happy hour was pretty good. I will be going back again this week for sure!

First time coming to this place for a little birthday lunch and I'ma be honest, it's mid. The staff and atmosphere was definitely a vibe. Everybody was cool and wanted to make sure everybody order was correct. The spicy queso and chips was super good and a nice drink selection. The tacos I had could of been more flavorful. Kinda bland and I just don't remember them lol. You want to try a new place for tacos, give this a try and create your own experience. Will be getting that good queso tho.

Had a fast lunch with a colleague. While ordering, a young man in training made a mistake with our order. However, when the incorrect food was brought out, they quickly fixed it and provided excellent service, handling the situation with professionalism. It's true. We all make mistakes, but it's how we rectify them that truly counts. Kudos to them for their outstanding customer service!

Torchy's is my absolute favorite taco place and this is my preferred location. The bartenders are always extremely friendly and make great margaritas. Tipsy chick is by far my favorite, but I've never been disappointed with any of their tacos or tacos of the month.

How is a small street taco so many calories? Why is a small street taco $4.00. I guess I don't understand. After 3 taco's and a drink your spending probably $15 after tax. If I spent $15 a day on lunch that's $3,900 a year.... That's a five day cruise for a family of four. Is that where we are now is almost $4k just not a-lot of money? 🤯

I’ve been to dozens of Torchy’s and this one was fine, but definitely subpar. Came around 1:00pm on a Sunday afternoon, crowd was light and it still took quite a while to get food - much longer than any other previous Torchy’s experience. Additionally, food upon arrival was definitely on the lesser end of quality compared to identical tacos ordered elsewhere.

Many interesting and innovative tacos available here. A few traditional types, but mostly riffs on street tacos. Two is a good lunch. They have at least two good vegetarian options.

The taco was pretty decent, flavor was good, but prices for a glorified street taco were a little high for my taste. Service was great and very clean inside, just a bit too pricey for the amount and quality of food.

*For Vegetarian/ vegan foodies out there* They have only one option fried avocado taco having all veg. ingredients in recipe - which is always worth a try. With that you can always go for any taco and customize it for yourself. This time when we visited they have tuk tuk taco as special. I tried it with fresh avocado instead of beef. Believe me it’s as delicious as one can ask for. Also, try street corn you’ll never regret. Not to forget queso and chips always. Happy hogging! 😉

If you're looking for tacos, this definitely is not the place! I don't even understand how they can call whatever they're serving "tacos". The cheese dip and the beer on the other hand were great. You'd have to pay me to eat there, I definitely wouldn't pay to eat there ever again.

The young girl at the counter seems annoyed while we were ordering. No big deal. We ordered 2 scallywags (delicious), 2 tipsy chicks (love that they brought this monthly special back!!!), a Baja shrimp, and a trashy trailer park. We try to come every month to eat the taco of the month and really sad that we didn’t come early in February for the scallywag. Upon eating we got all our food in a timely manner and everything was very good. I believe the GM or manager delivered our food and ensured we got everything and that everything looked out. The older lady came around and had a nice talk with her. This woman’s attitude and customer service made us forget about the young girl at the counter. She reminded us why we love coming here! We ended our dine in on a good note.
