Amazing spot to stay in while you’re in Montanita! Great location, very clean rooms, the breakfast is included and absolutely delicious. They have a private beach section which is super convenient to have so you don’t have to worry about renting chairs by the beach & also your things will be safe there. The staff are all helpful & very kind!! We extended our stay because we enjoyed our time here so much. If you’re a couple or family or looking for somewhere to stay that’s nice, quieter & well kept - this is it!

Would give extra stars if I could. Perfect stay. Pictures don't do the property justice. Alex at the front desk was helpful right away and answered all of our questions. The breakfast is made to order and tasty. The grounds are well kept and relaxing. I used the provided yoga mats to stretch every day. There is a surfboard rental place right out front to the left. Nice to walk out in board shorts, grab a board, surf, drop back board, and use outdoor shower on the property. I am not a hammock guy but did give the one a spin on the balcony and spent an hour listening to the waves and reading a book. There is a restaurant on site and many other options within a short walk down the beach. There are four oceanfront rooms upstairs that are worth every penny. Go check it out.

We love staying here when we visit Puerto Lopez. The rooms are beautiful. Filled with wonderful art created by one of the owners. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious, with various options. And you can't beat the location....right on the beach and north of town for the quiet. Highly recommend!! I shouldn't forget to mention the beautiful gardens on the property.

Chill, Zen, bohemian vibe. Perfect escape from the rowdiness of the city..... Great location. Amazing staff. Loved every minute. I would like to recommend putting a small fridge in the rooms for cold beverage storage, though.....⭐⭐⭐⭐

I LOVE everything about Kundalini. It's the perfect oasis in Montanita. The location is excellent, and the staff is beyond accommodating - from the front desk to the cleaning staff, and the restaurant staff. I love everything about this place and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. I worked the entire time I was here, had zero internet issues and plenty of common spaces to utilize. They even have a private beach with day beds and hammocks. I left for a couple of days and came back and was greeted with nothing but smiles upon my return, I was so happy to come back!

Great place with private beach access, hammacs, beautiful garden, nice and quiet atmosphere, decent live music, great breakfast, very helpful and friendly staff, would definitely come again

We had a wonderful time in Montanita and our stay at the Kundalini Hotel, and enjoyed happy hour drinks at Lido overlooking the ocean at sunset. A few comments about our experience with the room, the bed, bathroom, shower, and vanity was really good. Areas for improvement would be to have better pillows for the bed, the pillows were extremely soft and room did not have a mini refrigerator to keep out food cold and drinks cold.

Everything beautiful specially the great staff (housekeepers, maintenance people, receptionists and servers). Thank u all very much!

First time ever in Ecuador and this hotel is a beautiful gem!!! Sure, wish we could have spent more time here but unfortunately we could not.
