Disappointing Service and Unprofessional Behavior ; My recent experience at Suprabhatham was marred by disappointing service and unprofessional behavior, particularly from a staff member who seemed to be a manager. While I understand technical issues with card machines can occur, the way the situation was handled was far from satisfactory. The staff member's unprofessional attitude and lack of customer-centric approach left me thoroughly dissatisfied. Improving both technical efficiency and customer service skills is crucial for a positive dining experience.

I recently. had the pleasure of dining at Suprabhatam Hotel in Kozhikode, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and attentive service, which set the tone for a memorable meal. First and foremost, the ambiance of Suprabhatam Hotel is inviting and cozy. The restaurant has a modern yet elegant decor, with comfortable seating arrangements and well-lit spaces. The atmosphere is perfect for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings, creating a welcoming environment for diners. Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at Suprabhatam Hotel offers a wide range of dishes, predominantly focusing on South Indian cuisine. The flavors and presentation of the food were outstanding. Each dish was prepared with utmost care, using fresh ingredients and traditional recipes. Whether it was the dosas, idlis, or the mouthwatering biryanis, every bite was bursting with authentic flavors that delighted my taste buds. One standout dish that I highly recommend is the Malabar Parotta with Chicken Curry. The parottas were flaky and layered, perfectly complementing the rich and aromatic chicken curry. The combination of spices used in the curry was exquisite, creating a harmonious blend of flavors. I was truly impressed with the quality and authenticity of the dishes. Apart from the delectable food, the service at Suprabhatam Hotel was impeccable. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. They were more than willing to assist in making recommendations and accommodating special dietary requests. The waiters were prompt in taking orders and ensured that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Lastly, I must mention the reasonable pricing at Suprabhatam Hotel. Considering the high quality of the food and service, the prices were quite reasonable and offered great value for money. I felt that I got more than what I paid for, which is always a pleasant surprise. In conclusion, Suprabhatam Hotel in Kozhikode is a hidden gem for South Indian cuisine. From the warm hospitality to the delectable dishes, every aspect of the dining experience was exceptional. If you find yourself in Kozhikode and have a craving for authentic South Indian flavors, I highly recommend visiting Suprabhatam Hotel. You won't be disappointed!

Looks like the best restaurant in the beach area serving vegetarian food. They do have a self service and a seating area. I cannot comment on the seating area as there was a lot of crowd due to which we opted to dine in Darshini style in the self service section. The Dosas were very well prepared. Though 3 different varieties of chutney are served, it was falling short in terms of the taste. They also serve chats which looked good though I could not try it as the counter was closed by the time we reached here.

Veg magic 🪄✨ This is one of the pure vegetarian restaurant in Calicut. In this restaurant we get all indian vegetarian cusine from masala dosa to pav bhaji 🌝this outlet is near to Kozhikode beach. I am a non vegetarian but i am a big fan of the vegetarian cuisine of this shop. Yesterday I tried the pav bhaji from here. The taste was good and it was affordable also. There are so many chats. Their south Indian cuisine is also good. Their filter coffee ☕ is average. So try the vegetarian cuisines from heart ❤️ of calicut...

We went here for dinner on a weekday evening. This is a pure vegetarian restaurant with predominantly South Indian and fatty wide variety of other pan-Indian dishes as well. We ordered the tomato soup, sev puri and Pav bhaaji for appetizers, rava-dosa, ghee mysore masala dosa, mushroom Manchurian dosa, chole bature and Kerala porotta with green peas curry, for mains and coffee and fresh grape juice for desserts. I really liked the Kerala porotta ( it was soft and fluffy) and it was really well accompanied by the green peas curry which was equally flavorful and delicious. The chole bature was really good as well and so were the dosa items. My friends really loved the filter coffee as well which was strong and had that slight hint of sweetness in the background. Overall the food and the ambience were really good.

Surely, this has to be one of the best South Indian Vegetarian Restaurant in Kozhikode. This isn't my first visit to 'Suprabatham' and won''t certainly be my last considering the quality of food that is served here. Breakfast is usually the busiest time of the day and I would recommed skipping out on the weekend to avoid the crowds. You'll notice that they have a separate counter setup for their 'Filter Coffee' and that should convince you that the coffee here is outstanding. We ordered the usual suspects, 1. Vada [ 1 set ] - ₹38.10 2. Butter Mysore Masala Dosa - ₹119.05 3. Poori Masala Set - ₹76.19 4. Filter Coffee - ₹19.05 I wouldn't call the Vada exceptional but it tasted good. I prefer mine to be a little crispy on the exterior and the best part is it isn't too oily either. This comes with a side of 3 different chutneys and sambhar and is good value for money. The 'Butter Mysore Masala Dosa' takes the crown for being an exceptionally good variant of the masala dosa. It is golden crisp, with the masala packing some heat and slightly different from the standard masala. You will find a tiny dollop of butter on top and I must say you can taste that in the dosa too. The sambhar is really good and really brings out the amazing flavours of the dosa. Make sure to order this when you visit because it packs a lot more flavour than the standard Masala Dosa. The 'Poori Masala Set' might have been a bit too much for me but I really love a good poori. This comes served with coconut chutney and a side of baji and the best way to enjoy this is to combine all of them for a delicious bite. The Baji was a little low on salt but the chutney compensated for the lack of it. There are no words to describe how good their 'Filter Coffee' is. It is sharp, potent and not too overpowering at the same time. It would be hard pressed to settle for just one cup which is why I decided to get 2. Don't miss out on the coffee when you visit 'Suprabatham'.

Pathetic service , rude staff , who hv no idea how to serve guests. They seem to behave as if doing some favour to us The food served was spilled badly on the plate. But the server was least bothered. With multiple outlets in vicinity these guys are hardly bothered about service and customers... highly avoidable Food taste was average too. Nothing to write about. And a whole bitter experience

Let's just say my first visit wasn't a very memorable one. Food was average.. dosa was cold, cheese in the dosa was hard as rock. But what was a the cherry on the cake was the service. The staff didn't seem to care much.. menu is verbal so be all ears open... Or you'll test the service personal's patience. Overall unsatisfied. 🥲

Good place for vegetarians .Plenty of vegetarian dishes to choose.Quality wise food is good and tasty and pretty good quantity available .Service is okayish .Staffs are polite but with an attitude towards customers.Usually food is provided in 10 to 15 mins time after ordering. Chat dishes are also available ,but closes at 10 pm at night .Cards ,UPI and Cash payment options available. Parking is an issue since the restaurant doesn't have dedicated parking space.Customers need to park their vehicles on the both sides of the road.Parking can be tricky during weekends since beach is crowded and people usually park on the roadside nearby

Whatever food I had from here was very nice, chole batture, masala dosa etc. I usually visit this place for north Indian snacking in the evening and they have quite a lot of snacks available such as Dahi poori, Pani poori, Pab Bhaji etc. A bit costly compared to other vegetarian dine-around.

One of the very best and affordable vegetarian restaurants I have visited in Calicut. You leave the place with your heart and tummy full. The people was very welcoming. I had the Paneer Biriyani here and it packed a punch. It was filled with soft boiled veggies and masala , not just the paneer. I will be visiting soon to try out other stuff. I wholeheartedly recommend to every vegetarians to try it out

I ate Masala Dosa, it's really tasty and but not worth. And good inner space for dining but too crowdy here. Sundays are very crowdy. First we take the bill and then eat. The chatney and sambar was awesome very very tasty 😋 and tea also nice 😊

A very good south indian restaurant for vegetarian dishes. Tried Vada, ghee paper roast and dahi Puri. It was great! They had dedicated car parking area before now it's closed and parking is bit of an issue here. It's difficult to find a parking spot alongside the road. Overall good restaurant.

Food was great. Dosas, chats, vada and idlis. They also have pretty good north Indian menu. I found the starters excellent. Paneer, mushroom, Cauliflower starters were really great. We went on a public holiday and was really packed. It was too hot inside. Maybe because of the crowd inside. Looked like none of the A/C was doing its job. Apart from the A/C issue, everything else was pretty great. Also parking would be a concern on holidays.

Food: Everything that's being served here is extremely good. Ghee roast, Samosa, Chaats etc. are exceptionally good. Atmosphere: Spacious enough. Nice lighting. Seating: 6 seaters and 4 seater tables available. Tables are arranged at an appropriate distance.

Visited this on my trip to Kozhikode. As its a pure veg restaurant and nearby the beach we went to have lunch. It's at a walkable distance from Kozhikode beach. The ambience is also good. The food is too good. The service is also quick and staff is polite. We had ordered dahi bhalla chaat, mysore masala dosa, onion uttapam and Chai. The dosa and uttapam were served with 3 different chutneys and sambar. Everything was really amazing especially the dahi bhalla. The chai was also superb. Do visit this restaurant for a pure veg and delicious meal...

Suprabatham Restaurant on Beach road, near Bombay Hotel, serves pure vegetarian dishes. Tried their Pani Puri, Ghee Roast, Cheese Pav Bhaji and Masala Puri. Pani Puri was the best amongst all the four. Ghee roast too was good, but Masala Puri was not up to the mark. Pav Bhaji was tasty, but pav was small with less cheese. Inside the restaurant, it is so elegant, the lighting and paintings on the walls reflected some amazing vibes. Altogether it wasn't the best experience, still a good one.

Not that much good.. ordered mushroom dosa , the server written orders as cheese mushroom dosa.. then we received very worst dosaa.. it seems mushrooms are fried and kept in fridge, not fresh, and not worth for 170 rs. And also the cholea bhature very spicy and the oil they used to fry is also not good, it seems they are utilising crowd to make money..

Everything they serve here is extremely good ,we have tried their ghee roast ,mysore masala dosa ,spicy masala dosa ,vada set ,Sambhar vada .and everything was better than what we expected,I must say that this restaurant is one of the purest vegetarian place to eat in Calicut . However,I feel they should also provide some area for parking ,as it is difficult to find a parking for four wheelers in that area .

Suprabatham is located very near to the Bombay hotel and is walkable from the Calicut beach. They are a pure vegetarian restaurant with variety of dishes on offer. Tried the masala dosa which was good but not really worth the cost. There is an AC services area and an outside self service area. Prices are slightly on the higher side and parking is a problem especially if you are in a 4 wheeler.

I went to Suprabatham Hotel for breakfast. I wanted to eat vada, but since they didn't have it, I decided to try their masala dosa. The dosa was okay, not too great. We had to wait for some time to get the waiter's attention and place our order.

This restaurant is located near Kozhikode beach. The menu featured a wide range of authentic South Indian dishes, all made with fresh ingredients. I opted for the Mysore masala dosa. The dosa was cooked to perfection and the accompanying sambar and chutney added just the right amount of flavor and spice. In addition to the dosa, I also tried the samosa. Both dishes were delicious and flavorful. The service was excellent, with the staff being attentive and friendly. But there is always a long wait. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and delicious South Indian cuisine. The food, atmosphere, and service all exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to visiting again in the future

Casual veg dining set up . Serves fatty variety of chats , snacks and south indian , especially kind of tamil origin set up. Uzhunnuvada not up to expectation. Bombay chats are ok . Ambience is good . Parking is difficult. Pricing is ok .

Had heard about this restaurant from a lot of fellow veg food lovers in Kozhikode, hence tried this out for breakfast. Considering the rarity of a good veg only option in Kozhikode and the beach proximity, the food lived upto its expectations! The ghee roast was super good and puris were just the right crisp with neither a strong nor subdued masala in the bhaji. And best thing was the tea for me! Almost a Bombay cutting chai, but then in a tumbler with the right amount of milk in it. Do try it! Parking a four wheeler maybe tough in rush hours, so maybe consider the beach road and then walk towards the restaurant. A breakfast for two was under Rs.200, hence would not count it as expensive as well. They have definitely room to improve the ambience though considering the popularity it enjoys. Edit: The food remained really good in our last visit as well. The service was prompt and courteous. Great tea again. The chaat can be a bit more crispy along with the ambience. Still a great place for vegetarians to go to!

We used have breakfast, lunch as well as dinner at Suprabhatham only if we're in Calicut. That much affection has created by the taste delivered by Suprabhatham in me. I'm really astonished by the Quality of Service and Taste of the Tali Meals provided by them. After Corona used to go there for the same, and got to know that's not yet restarted yet due to nonavailability of staff and all. That's really saddening.

Good hotel, tasty foods but high rate. For a single Masala dosa they are asking 90rs. Even it was self service. There is one dining area but if the self service cost these much means not sure the cost inside the dining area. Teas was superb.

Delicious and variety of food served well in a good ambiance. During the peak hours, the space get's easily occupied and it might take some time to get a spot. Car parking is not much of an issue as there are ample space in the side of the road in the nearby stretch.
