My last visit was to the hospital, Iqraa. I don't understand how the service exists. My experience is not like this. At six in the morning, I went there to reserve a time slot for my friend. There wasn't a rush in the morning or a crowded atmosphere. In order to accompany this review, I shot some pictures inside the facility.

I am writing this to inform everyone about the mismanagement and bad administration I faced from the Iqra hospital yesterday.That such a large hospital operates so inefficiently is really a tragedy. Due to severe chest pain and low blood sugar, I saw RMO Dr.Ashidha of General OP. We went to Causality since she asked me to take a drip, but the security guard was reluctant to let me in without the prescription bill. The pharmacy has four counters, but only one of them was open. Although there are only five or six people in the line, it still takes more than an hour to get the medications even I pleaded with them to think of us first since I was feeling lightheaded. We went to the causality after getting the medication, but the staff pretended that there were no open beds there and advised me to travel to another hospital. My husband protested to the Manager about the unpleasant experience we had, and after he came to me and apologised on behalf of the employees and made a promise to provide better service and care, I made the decision to stay there on my own. They applied a drip to my hand to treat my fatigue. But as my chest pain worsened, I sobbed the nurse to call or alert the doctor. Dr. Ashida was just standing next to me in the emergency room, but she didn't even turn to look at me. The nurse told me she had alerted the doctor when I repeated about my chest pain and headache a couple of times, but the doctor still didn't visit us or take the necessary action.We wasted a long 6 hours in the hospital with no cure. Finally, I realised that I would not recover from this situation because no one was aware of the patients. I called a male doctor and asked him to arrange for my discharge because I needed to save myself and transfer to another hospital. The Dr.Ashida whom I consulted is very irresponsible , lacking in empathy, and not patient-friendly. I wish doctor like her don’t exist. If the hospital administration does not take the appropriate measures against the doctor, I will be bringing a negligence claim against the facility. And one thing I must say is your hospital has built a credibility with years of good service and all,Please try to not diminish that name coz of such employees.

This is one of the hospital in Calicut providing quality medical treatment to the public at the most affordable expense. Had a good experience here as patient get all the attention from staffs and doctors.They offering health check ups ₹1600/- onwards.This hospital rendered by a Charitable trust so the poor patients get free treatments.Easy access from the highway and had large area of Car parking facility.

One of the worst system that I have seen in a hospital, i went there on Sunday, to see a doctor, they gave me op ticket, there was only one doctor for op for this big hospital. I asked them y is it so, it's because it's 10rs op only on Sunday. I don't want any such consideration, because the patient was very ill with fever but not that much for an emergency thing, i waited for 1.5hr to see a doctor 🙄. Is this good???? This what we see in public, there will much worst things inside, like in an operation theatre or something, we don't know what happens inside.

Very rude behavior from staff and security🤬. Not a friendly atmosphere for patients. We need to run here and there for each test. Management always thinking about business💔. Very rude and pathetic behavior from staff (not every one). Exploited regardless of the financial income of a family and even the age of the patient, they do not consider the age of the patient🥺. After saying that it was a operation at 12o' clock, they stopped giving food from 6 o'clock inthe morning and then they do ith at 3 o'clock in the evening. When we questioned it, the response was very negative and rude💔. A normal family can never afford it's bill, in Government medical college x ray gas only ₹100 that we can include in insurance if we have. But here it is ₹250 must given as Cash😣🙆🏻‍♀️. We got to private hospital like this to get all kinds of facilities but the condition here is worse than in government hospital. Government hospital are better than this. I never suggest this hospital for anyone even if he/she is my enemy 😤😡

Very Poor & Disappointing service, the hospital was not like this before but unfortunately so sad to say that now this hospital only matters money regardless whether the patients are from poor or sound financial background. The staffs are utterly unprofessional and 'zero' hospitality standard, service knowledge and manners I believe the present management misusing the charitable trust, when I enquired about staff recruitment I came to know it was done by a private recruitment company and majority employees of this hospital are outsourced by the said recruitment company hence it's understandable that why the majority employees become unprofessional..... Really disappointed with the service and the arrogant attitude of the staffs they have zero assisting mentality.

Very poor service. Attitudes of medical staff is very rude to patients and their by standers. Need immediate training to the staff inorder to keep the credentials of the institution. Thought of shifting to another hospital with better hospitality several times.

very bad experience. There is no patient care at all. Just like a government medical college. staff are not professional . Nursing staff and attenders are very negligence in duty. Staffs are always using mobile phones. Security staff behaving in very bad manner to the bystanders. Insurance section (Medizep) service is very poor. Bystander have to push the patient's wheel chair and trolley. hopeless management, need a full time Senior operations Manager to solve these problems. Please take care about this matter.

More professionalism is required from some staff and doctors. Old type ego approach must be avoided with patients and their by standers. Canteen food quality is poor BUT the price is very high and not matching with the noble mission of IQRAH management. Hospital canteen should not be an instrument of money making, instead it should be a place to serve the patients and visitors with better quality of food with reasonable price. Hope the management will review and take necessary action to correct these issues.

Medical college is better than Iqraa hospital, too much rush than Medical college because they are accepting PM Insurance card, other than nothing. Doctors are not convincing the patients regarding their illness, no instructions and advise after surgery, especially Dr. Aslam he is an irresponsible person. My father lost his eye sight after surgery due to his irresponsibility.

My concern is all about one and only Canteen service provided. I would say canteen prices are not cheap as expected. Please find a new vendor and make sure that you are able to serve laymen too with affordable prices for food items. Even serving facility seeing utter failure at times where customers are scolding for not getting ordered items on time. You guys need to benchmark your entire canteen facility .

Pathetic patient care service. The Doctors are good here, but there is no proper system here. Cleanliness does not exist. And attitude of patient care assistants towards patients and bystanders are also not good. Would highly recommend not to come here.

My wife had a breathing trouble continuously and then we take decision to consult Dr Muhammed Cholakkal and booked for appointment. After our experience with the doctor, We never will recommend this doctor to anyone. He doesn’t know to speak politely to patient, he is very rough and tough doctor. I never see such Arrogant doctor in my life. He might have very good knowledge, senior doctor. But more importantly He should keep basic ethics while speaking to his patient.

When we had come to Iqraa from another hospital with our preterm baby, we hardly had any hopes left about her... But the incredible neonatal team lead by Dr. Shabeer and Dr Rahul did an immensely wonderful job which resulted in us carrying our healthy baby back home today after her 40 days stay in Iqraas NICU...Sincere gratitude to the entire team especially Dr. Shabeer. A good Hospital with all specialization available with affordable prices. Good no of staffs present to manage all types of problems. Infrastructure is good but congested, the ways are not spacious. Pharmacy will not give any discount to patients , it will give you less then 5% only. Room services are excellent. Hope in future it becomes a charitable hospital

Services are very bad. Nurses and doctor's assistants do not know how to treat patients and their companions. Except for the new building, the rest of the place is not clean and there is no place to turn around and the operation theater is covered with rain water and mud.

If you call there, no one picks up the phone. I traveled 30km as a family and when I reached there, the ortho department doctor said that he is not available this time. If someone had picked up the customer care phone they would not have come so far on a bike in this heat.

Doctors and other paramedical staffs are compitend and very good in behavior but the patient attending staffs have no interest in their job.... We have to take care our own patients... they are acting at the entrance like they taking care of the patients but after that they will not mind the patient.... I had to wait for an attender for more than half hour but for the doctor it just take 10 minutes waiting.... Few of the attenders have responsibility with their duty but most of them are for nothing....i hope management will provide proper briefing of their job and how to deal with the patient

Very arrogant doctor. The doctor in paediatric are very rude. Went for check up of my kid and didn't even check temp. And when asked they checked and prescribed one more medicine. Never appoint such morons as doctor.. Don't even show any compassion towards patient or their concerns.

Sorry to say worst time to be here, i booked and paid online for consultation in Diabetice center, on arriving there in time the counter staff have no idea how to deal with online payment. Waisted a lot of time there. In the sms i received says that we can go directly to OP room. But they contacted IT section and allowed me to consult long passed my token No. Actually this review is for other reason too.. very same time i saw a young lady bursting in tears before the counter complaining about the behaviour of staff there. This is not at all appreciable. I collected HR phone No from reception and dialed three times in two phone Nos. No one attending!!!! Then what to say about counter staff ... Its Mocking this hospital is also showing ISO and other certification.. Shame

An hospital with multi speciality treatment in some areas, has given good treatment, rushy hospital,need to improve parking fecility for customer, pricing moderate to expensive. Open in the name of a charitable organisation, bit don't know the charity works on billing yet.

The casuality facility is too small and crowded with patients, attenders and nurses. My 75 years old father had to wait in a wheel chair for hours to get attended! Admission to casuality is done in a pocket room beside, which is also too small and there is no ticket system. Facilities at the hospital are good and some of the doctors also. Canteen is good and works 24 hours, I think. In some departments we need to wait for hours to meet a doctor, eventhough you are given an approximate time for consultation.

There is no one to control the waiting area near the labor room. Many people sleep with their luggage on the chairs in front of them. Due to this, at least four people lose the opportunity to sit.Keep only 2 people with the patient. Avoid this unnecessary crowding Hope there will be a change from you

When my grand daughter aged 2 was taken to Iqraa Hospital with severe fever and cough @ 2:15 AM on 26th March 23, our experience at the Emergency Department was bitter and resentment. The young duty doctor had a very casual approach towards the feelings and anxiety of the parents. Even the thermometer was showing a false reading. The doctor advised us to continue the medicine we have been giving at our home. We waited for some more hours at ED and later discharged at our own decision for better treatment. Now the child is getting better at another hospital after proper diagnosis and treatment. I will never recommend EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT of this hospital at night especially on Saturdays, because you will not get a Good Doctor other than the on-call doctor on the next day ie Sunday.

There is no limit for bystanders. One patient and 20 bystanders are really screwed up the calm atmosphere here, and the management have no control in it. And they shifted the patient to some other hostel which is far away from this hospital without any prior information. And never allowed the patient to sleep on the previous day of surgery: Totally disappointed and never n ever think about this hospital in future. Why they asking for cast and relegion in the admission form is still disgusting and confusing. Did they care only to any special categories I don’t know that.

We visited Iqraa International Hospital on a Saturday, and we had a positive experience overall. Hospital was really good and clean. The downside was that it was very crowded and OP waiting time was high. We had to wait for around 2 hour past our allocated token time. However, the staff there was friendly and helpful. The best part was that it didn't cost much for treatment and medical tests compared to other private multi speciality hospitals in Kozhikode city. If you need affordable medical care, Iqraa Hospital is a good option, despite the crowds.

It is the best Hospital in Calicut now days. Because all departments are available here. Also they deals with good laboratory session that provide good results. That will definitely helps the doctor to find out the issues. Also having a very large parking space . We can book tocken by phon call. The main thing is the service that was really amazing. Canteen food is worse.As a hospital premise canteen should be clean.Food is worse and all food taste like north indian food and not hygein food and kitchen is more worse than that and patients and others are eating from here because nearby there is no hotel or restaurant otherwise i am sure no one will eat this type of worse food.All the staffs are north indians and we cant even complaint about things.

Hospital is good and consultation and treatment cost is reasonable. At least few doctors need to improve their professionalism. They need to be open and friendly to patients and to people who accompany them. Mental support is expected from a doctor, it's also a mark of humbleness. Even if doctor is busy, they should smile ans treat people well. I had a very uneasy experience from pediatrics doctor today, that's why this is shared.

I recently had an experience with your hospital and wanted to provide some feedback. While I appreciate the quality of the doctors and the affordable prices, I was disappointed with the level of service provided. One of the main issues I faced was the excessive delay in the services provided. I had to wait for more than 4-5 hours just to get a bed in the general ward. I understand that a hospital can get busy at times, but waiting for hours without any updates or explanations is frustrating and unprofessional.

Had a bad experience of treating customers very casually. To take a PCR they made me to walk between two buildings three times. Nobody is there to guide the customers.

It was a very unpleasant experience. Pre-booking is a joke. Whenever I had to visit for a consultation, I had to wait for 4-5 hrs MINIMUM even after booking. Since I could see a lot of people sharing the same review, I believe the management doesn't even care to address the issue. Secondly, a multi-speciality like this lacks proper parking facilities. And proper waiting areas in most of the department. People are just standing in crowds, literally everywhere. I don't even know if it's a healthy practice. Of course, hospitals will have a lot of OP, but then this is beyond what we usually observe. Need better management.

If this was a Hotel I would have definitely recommended this place to everyone! ... The kind of Service is very rare ...from the security guard at the main entrance to the Sr Doctor in each dept...Everyone has passed with a 100/100 in Humility and reached here...I'm sure someone who is leading them is doing the best in their job. One of worst hospital i recently visited , only some qualified doctors and staff here , totally un professional all counters including some security too, billing counter reception farmacy totaly poor service i think compared to medical college calicut iqraa service is very pathetic here ,its a private hospital for each service we are paying,so staff and management should care patients and bistanders its your duty, top management should aware what happening here i don't know may be they awre this and they neglected what ever it is for the coming generation if you are going same service and attitude they will not accept, if we going to canteen fully un professional staff and no higeen no care no service no prper cleaning no arrangements no coordination tottal bad only some food item ok. meals and snaks and some breakfast items totally bad so tottaly bad experience

Once upon a time it was selfless service. I have never seen such bad management today. Money is just a market. The ICU is more crowded than treated. There are other scams in the name of insurance. My father's insurance said ok and finally site block and paid the bill for 102500. How poor are they?
