I visited this place for the very first time today. The customer service was great. Very friendly cashier and sociable. The food, was great. I got the loaded potatoes and a drink. The location is in a nice area. There is free parking around the corner. I dinned in. It’s a cute interior. The prices are reasonable for vegan food. I spent about $21 for everything and it was very filling and great portion. Lastly, since it was Valentine’s Day they gave me a complimentary heart chocolate and it was absolutely delicious.

Thank you for opening this place AND for using compostable materials! We can't tell you how much we appreciate the fresh and healthy and fun AND delicious plant based foods. We discovered you three days ago and have come back twice. Prices are reasonable and online ordering is easy and accurate with the updated specials each day and that is so appreciated. The veggie tuna wrap was fantastic, as was the gyro with fresh potatoes/fries. Treated our selves to a PB frozen yogurt cup which definitely did not disappoint. Looking forward to trying more of your menu and specials too!

I’ve been vegan for over 4 years, and there have been really limited clean vegan eats options on Long Island. Just discovered this place and all I can say is WOW. Tried the loaded nachos special and it was amazing! I can’t wait to come back and try everything else. I’m also gluten free and there were soo many options!

Love this place so much! It’s hard to find vegan spots on LI and everything I’ve tried here is amazing. The salads are organic and fresh, tacos are delicious, and they have awesome creative specials every month. Every time I go in, they treat me like family. Highly recommend :)

Love this little café! Staff/ owner were very nice and the food was delightful. We enjoyed the eggplant and egg paninis and cauliflower soup with shiitake bacon.

I have gone to a lot of vegan restaurants, but I can tell you that this place is one of the best. Their loaded nachos are to die for, so flavourful and filling. Same thing with their paninis. Great portions, healthy, truly plant based ingredients and cute atmosphere. They also have daily and monthly specials. Will definitely be going back!

Tried the deli sandwich & lobster roll & it was bomb!! Cant wait to come back and try everything else on the menu. Amazing options that taste great and work with my dietary restrictions (no refined sugar, dairy free, no white grains, etc). Missed eating certain foods that I cut out and they have it all but in healthier versions. Thank you guys!! :)

Y'all I'm speechless . Came in with my little sister for the first time and everything was great . The vibe , the energy from the people working here and the food is super tasty ! As you can see we done cleaned our plates 😭🙏🏽💫

BEST carrot cake I have ever had! It was such a hit at my party that I had guests ask to bring home any leftover. Nobody at the party even realized it was vegan. The cake was moist and delicious and the frosting was so creamy. I had one there donuts and loved it. So I asked the owners, who are so nice, if I could order a custom cake. They worked with me with what I wanted and gave me a very fair price. I can’t wait to try another cake.

Best vegan sandwich on long island! What an incredible spot, this is EXACTLY what we always wanted nearby! Stop reading this and get to Rock n Roots asap!!! 10/10 cant wait to come back!!!! Great people with a dream, serving healthy foods to people so they can fulfill theirs! The jackfruit panini was the best Ive ever had. The eggcellent eggplant was out of this world with really unique ingredients that perfectly complimented one another! We also got the WILD avocado pudding that was perfect for my sweet tooth! AND we haddddd to get some of the vegan tuna to go. So nice to be able to take some home and make quick easy sandwiches 🥪!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! This vegan restaurant was NECESSARY for long island!

I am in love with this spot! The service here is grand and the vibe is super friendly. The food, albeit consisting of healthy and fresh ingredients, is super tasty and flavorful. Prices are definitely a little up there but it's worth trying. I will absolutely be stopping by again.

I'm so glad we visited with an empty stomach! There's a great variety of vegan dishes with lovely service. All recommended but especially the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich.

I liked the bread. Definitely a quality one. Nice taste. Also tried vegan it was good. Everyday of the week there’s one special dish.

Good service as always, and the food was great. I went there about an hour before closing with a friend, and she also gave it 5/5 stars. Small and quaint, and the food is prepared relatively fast. We ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese panini and the lobster sushi roll.

This place is fantastic! The food is exceptionally delicious. We go to this place all the time for either lunch and sometimes bring it home for dinner. The owners of the place are just great people. The quality of the food is excellent you will not be disappointed. For those of you who complain about the price if you're a true vegan and live an organic lifestyle you should understand that the price points of these items are higher than normal even in the supermarkets Whole Foods Etc but the bottom line is this place is fantastic and I love it and the rest of my family does as well. As a non-vegan but relatively healthy eater this place really takes me by surprise. I have eaten here several times and quality doesn’t seem to disappoint. I have had the rock n root panini/salad, cheddar and broccoli soup, loaded nachos, chick pea sushi roll, all tacos and each were really good. Pretty impressive for only a vegan joint. Oh and the Staff was super friendly and accommodating.

Nothing beats when you find a close to your NY home vegan spot. I had the best tamale ever and for dessert apple crunch cake. My new favorite spot in NY. Great friendly staff like healthy food spots should be.

Huge portions and delicious! Ingredients were fresh (I had the BLAT) like crispy lettuce and plump tomato slices. I work up the road and was able to order online. and it was ready and waiting when I entered. I can't wait to try other things in the menu!

Loved this little fully vegan spot!! Will definitely visit again. We had the breakfast nachos & the bfast quesadilla. The nachos are a MUST have. Delicious, filling, & cruelty free. Service was great & prices are reasonable. Nice array of options as well.

Everything I’ve gotten here has been delicious!!! So glad a healthy vegan cafe like this is doing so well. The apple pie drink really tastes like apple pie! Would love it if they opened another in Brooklyn.

I come here every single week at least three times (no exaggeratIon). The food is amazing! It’s so delicious when I don’t eat it I am thinking about eating it. It’s also healthy which is a big deal for me! Many vegan/plant based places are not the healthiest options, but rock n roots delivers on the yum and health factor. Also very kid friendly-family owned! My two girls are welcomed like they are family and they feel it! I feel comfortable and everyone working there brings such a positive vibe to the restaurant and LOVE into their food! I leave feeling like my whole body is recharged and like my insides got a big hug. Highly recommend going there or ordering online- just eat their food and make yourself happy!

The soup was excellent. The BLAT seems like air fried bacon and no real flavor. I want authentic vegan food from scratch with a pinch of sass. It was my first time there. The cafe has a good ambiance and the people are nice. There should be more of an introduction to your menu than, here look at the menu.
