A beautiful place to wander around. Easy paths to more challenging hikes. Always something to see and photograph.

Came here in early spring. Soft earth trails with early greens & wild flowers. Uneven footing with loose rocks & partial flooding means light boots are better than sneakers. We hiked Spark' Brigade (Camp Road Trail) then drove long way around to NJ Brigade & visited the Cross Gardens. Would be far more interesting if we could have accessed the main parts of this park, but access was blocked (repaving), making it difficult to fully experience. I imagine if we could have gotten to the main parts of the park, Visitor Center and perhaps even the Washington Museum (only open Fri - Sun), it would have been vastly better. Cross Gardens were lovely.

We went the blue trail last weekend, the path is easy and about 3 miles. The parking lot and toilets both are nice.

This is a beautiful historical site. It is where George Washington's Revolutionary army camped out during one of the worst winters ever recorded (1779-1780). It includes a visitor's center, many trails to hike, the Wick farm house & garden, and a replicas of some of the small poorly crafted cabins that each houses twelve soldiers that winter and one of the officers' cabins. This is a great place to visit all year round but especially beautiful in the fall when the leaves turn.

This is our favorite place for my wife and I to go hiking. On this day, we did the complete green (also known as the aqueduct) trail. A little bit more than 1.5 miles, which is a good distance for us. Unfortunately, conditions were not good - warm and very humid, leading to a myriad of insects biting and generally annoying us. Stil,l a very beautiful setting and great to be outdoors in nature.

It is very natural and a good trail with very less people. We went hiking on the blue trail (New York Brigade Trail). But we spotted snakes in 4 places. I added pictures of one of the snakes we spotted on the way, below the leaves, not sure about the name of the snake.

Had a wonderful winter hike through a historic location. Not entirely flat but not difficult to walk

nice paved walk, though one has to be aware that pedestrians share it with the cars.

I love this place! An outstanding example of how historic lands can be leveraged to soften the borders in urban-woodland interfaces. It's awesome.
