This was my first time dining here. We started with the fried eggplant fries which were way better than we expected. For the entrees, we ordered the spicy Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup and braised pork belly over rice. The pork belly dish was so flavorful and definitely will order that again. I felt like the Lanzhou soup broth could’ve had a slightly richer flavor but was good nonetheless. Also, the service we got here was great. Would definitely recommend this spot.

It was crowded, but there were a few tables open. However, the waiter walked near the stairs multiple times and kept assuming I was waiting to pick-up take out even though I said I was eating in. When I was finally seated, I was given a table right next to the kitchen and bathrooms. It was not fun watching people coming in and out of the bathroom all through dinner. I ordered a bowl of beef noodle and the broth and beef were good but the noodles were very generic, nothing special. I think the worst part of where they sat me is that I had to listen to the waiter (maybe owner?) talking very negatively to a co-worker the whole night. I'll call the waiter "A" and the co-worker "B". B may have been another waiter or a busboy, I'm really not sure but he was very sweet and checked on me more times than I did. I had headphones in and couldn't hear the whole conversations yet it was clear by the parts I did hear, along with the way A was waving his arms towards the kitchen and then the room, that he was telling B that he was in the way, being unhelpful, and shouldn't speak to customers. A few times, I saw B standing right behind the kitchen's curtains looking like he had no idea what to do or where to stand so he wasn't in A's way. I honestly thought maybe I was on one of those hidden camera shows just based on how A was pretending to be discreet but wasn't discreet at all.

One of the best Asian restaurants in Princeton, hands down. After looking on Google for a good place to eat, we stumbled into this place on a whim. Only after 10 minutes, both of our orders came out and looked exceptional! I got spicy crispy chicken and it was excellent! I would come back here just for this. Their service was also very considerate and helped us box the meals.

One of the most memorable dining experiences of my trip to the United States. The ambiance was beautiful. The food was wonderful, and the vegetarian lunch the "Three Sisters" was the finest I'd had thus far throughout my vacation. All three of the dishes we ordered were delicious. The food arrived sooner than expected, and the portions were all exactly great. Even the restrooms were spotless. Mr. Eric, our host, was really professional, and his interaction with us enhanced the overall experience. Looking forward another visit, if time permits. Thank you for the wonderful experience and food.

Service was friendly Ambiance was nice. Food, well most of it was tasty. Price, a bit overpriced. Nothing really stood out but it was a decent experience.

Had an excellent time at Lan Ramen! When we first arrived during a lunch rush at around 1:00pm on a Saturday the place was packed and we thought there would be a long wait, but we were seated in less than 10 minutes. We enjoyed the Shrimp Wontons in Peanut Sauce, Lanzhou Braised Beef Noodles, and the Minced Pork Belly Over Rice (pictured). Everything was so good— would definitely come back to try more things on the menu.

We went here yesterday and loved it! The service is quite fast and our waiter was nice and answered all of our questions. We got two braised beef noodles and they were great! Perfectly flavored with a little kick, and the beef was perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth. You can tell the noodles are handmade since they weren't all even, but tasted so fresh. We have always gone to Lan Ramen for the past few years, but went back recently to have some soupy noodles on a cold, rainy day. The sesame munchkins were something new for us, and reminded us of tangyuan (a Chinese sticky rice ball filled with a filling) with a twist on it. It had peanuts and sugar on the outside and the inside was filled with a perfectly runny black sesame paste. Highly recommend coming here if you're in the area!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the LAN Ramen restaurant. The beef noodle dish was wonderfully flavorful, and the fried chicken was delightfully crispy. The addition of the spicy appetizer elevated the meal perfectly. The ambiance was calming, and the staff's attentiveness made for a relaxing dining experience. I look forward to returning soon for another soothing meal.

This is a Chinese restaurant that hasn't turned American. We ordered Kung Pao Chicken, Boiled Beef and Water Spinach. I also ordered a Lanzhou ramen. It's all very original Chinese taste. We all love it. The Chinese waiter wearing a black mask is very kind and diligent. He is a great salesperson and the recommended dishes were all very satisfactory to us.

I enjoyed the spicy beef noodles. The service was fast. The place is underground so it may be hard to spot if you are not paying attention to the sign. Overall I recommend the place. It is quaint and small.

Not sure why this place has so many good ratings, the food was below average at best. We got some appetizers including the cucumber, popcorn chicken, and shrimp dumplings… The flavor was lacking for all 3. We also got beef noodles, Mongolian beef, and sesame chicken for our entrees. The only dish that had any decent flavor was the sesame chicken, and even that was just ok. Besides the food, our waiter was not very pleasant nor nice; he had an attitude and seemed annoyed when we asked for recommendations even though we were very nice and respectful towards him. We left feeling very disappointed. Overpriced food that lacked flavor in an environment where we felt like unwelcome by the waiter. I don’t recommend this spot.

I have been to Lan Ramen twice. The food is excellent, the staff are professional and polite. They seem to be genuinely concerned that the customers enjoy their visit. The facility is clean and attractive. The added plus is the noodle prep that is visible from the dining room. Overall, a very good experience.

I don’t even know where to begin to describe the delightful experience coming to Lan Ramen. From the pristine service to the immaculate dishes, the experience was incredible. There is really no alternative to Lan Ramen when it comes to great restaurants around Princeton. As an international student, I was really struggling to adapt to the food and culture here, but Lan Ramen reminded me of the warm memories back home and gave me a glimmer of hope in the middle of midterm season. 10/10 would recommend!!

Definitely one of the most popular ramen restaurants in town. Servers are super friendly with mask on and details to hygiene, open kitchen, great vibes. Food is authentic and serving fast, highly recommend and will come over again definitely.
