I have been looking for a while for a therapist who takes my insurance and offers in-person appointments because I don’t feel comfortable with virtual. Recently had my first session with my therapist and she was wonderful and offered me a lot of hope. The whole process has been going so smoothly

My therapist is amazing. She’s not only extremely knowledgeable and empathetic, but is responsive and is willing to accommodate my schedule. I finally feel like I’m in good hands. And the staff at the front desk are great. So happy to have found this place.

Good people bad policies EDIT: they charged me more than they claimed ($600 instead of $400) after making me pay out of pocket with money I don’t have, for appointments I thought were made with insurance… my therapist never mentioned there was an insurance issue once during the 2 follow up appointments after there was already an insurance issue.

Update: theracorp has reached out and made every effort to amend the issues we had experienced. I commend them on taking the time to assist us and and ensure our satisfaction. My son and I feel confident in their support of us. I appreciate all the time and care taken to rectify the issues and offer services from another therapist to continue my sons journey. Thank you Jillian! The Thera my child saw was not helpful. She would not listen to my son. She would drill him with questions the entire session without him actually getting to talk about his issues. Unfortunately then we had loss of our insurance and when I called about 30 hours prior to his appointment, the person I spoke to did not remind me that they have a 48 hour cancellation policy. 48 hours with a $75 fee! I have been in therapy myself for most of my adult life had I am nearly 40 years old and I have never heard of more than a 24 hours cancellation policy. This place had no empathy for people struggling due to outside issues. As a therapist group, you should be considerate of metal health issues and life issues. If you can, avoid this place and especially Alexa Saks. Neither her nor the office manager are helpful or caring to actually help people.

I was very pleased with my therapist but not so the administration team. Iol cancel the appointment the night before as something very unfortunate had happened to me I call the office to cancel and you can hear in my voice the stress and instead of trying to be compassionate the receptionist just wanted to Talk about the cancelation policy that I'd be charged $75 I tried to explain how I was feeling Especially since I just gotten off the phone with the police I was very upset Not one word of compassion coming from a mental health facility no less who should be trained how to handle phone calls like this Then I come to learn from my therapist who only texted me And did not even bother to reach out to They were canceling all my appointments Though instead of maybe Being apologized for treating me so badly they go ahead and now cancel all my appointments As a business owner myself you're only as good as your let's say front office and for mental health facility to treat a patient like this is incredulous Anyway I never usually send reviews but this one needed to be sent I am also going to be filing a complaint with the New Jersey me with a phone call They will canceling
