Good clean athletic entertainment provided by two local basketball teams today, and it seems to be in constant use. Attracts an appreciative crowd both genuine followers and passing commuters. Well supervised. Well maintained. And great to see the world stop and enjoy something just for a while😊😊

One of the most respected basketball courts in the city! You will often find yourself glued to the fence after getting off the train station or simply walking by. If you play then spectators will always watch so bring your A game! Sometimes you can also catch youth or adult tournaments.

Highlight of our trip. Quiet enough before noon for the kids to play in this space. Pick-up games are fun to watch - and catching some of the Kenny Graham tournament was amazing. Better than Rucker.

One of NYC's premier Pro-Am basketball leagues is played here from late May to mid-August. Weekday games are at 6 pm. Weekend games start at 10 am, every 2 hours, and the last game starts at 6pm. The pick up games can be very entertaining as well. It's quick entertainment for the passers-by or a basketball fan.

Historic, Historic famous West 4t Street Park. It's a spot to see real street ball, real street rules hard-core basketball. It's maintained and sponsored by Nike. Not really a place to sit and watch but if you can find some standing room it's a vibe. Must see if you're in the West Village

Beautiful court, world famous. I came here earlier than normal and played a bunch of half court games before the full court runs started. Good Hooper's and local talent but it gets busy on the weekends and late afternoons. Go early and take it all in!

Super cool park located by the subway! Kind of small but perfect at the same time to have a basketball game or handball game. We just sat and watched the scenery! It was a lot to take in!
