I'm so disappointed and dissatisfied. I'm a teacher for a preschool and I took my children there for an outing so they could explore their creative side. Showed up , it was closed. On the website it says its open. I CALLED before hand but didn't get a answer so I took the chance from the website. It needs to be updated and the voice-mail. Had to settle for the park right behind it.

I called to find out if they had an entry fee and I was “greeted” over the phone by a man telling me I couldn’t come today. (Friday) after he asked the age of the children I was bringing. Which seems pretty discriminating. There’s no age limit on the website so why did he turn us around. Website is also misleading as it states different information than what was said over the phone.

This place is a gem. We had an awesome time. Dont let the exterior stop you from going in. My kids loved it. They made snow and a treasure hunt. They even got 2 free books on the way out.

Great children party location. Gary was patient in showing everyone about the museum and took his time with the kids explaining about all the different exhibits. Great place for all ages.

I've recently taken my two year old daughter here and what an experience we had! Although the programs are generally geared toward an older age group, the museum aide, guided us through the many adventures, sharing with us tons of knowledge along the way. We explored the pyramids in Egypt and found many treasures, we ventured though time in the time machine making stops at many eras that have shaped American society as it is today. We also, had an opportunity to make snow, Go out into space, pretend to be doctors, visit a slaves cabin, learn about the underground railroad, relax with arts and crafts and so much more! And at the end of our visit, we went home with loads of books of our choice as compliments of the museum. Best of all, we got to experience it all free of charge because Saturdays is free to the public. I cannot wait until our next visit!

I don't know how people can give this place a 4 or 5 stars review. We just went with our class and this place is completely broken. We found a lot of unsafe things for children. Staff is very friendly and the concept is good but the place is definitely old and dirty. Check before going. The only good thing about it? We got free books for our children.

It's not clean for a place that host kids the place is not sanitize. The kids bathroom looks like its going to fall apart. Great attractions just need a lot more TLC.
