Beautiful church with abundant history! The Catholic Church is over 219 years old, located in Old City, Philadelphia. The artwork adorning the walls and ceiling were created for an illiterate population so very visual. The upper balcony is closed to visitors but the alter is stunning as are the many paintings and stained glass windows. Fun fact: this is the church that was featured in the classic 1999 film, The Sixth Sense, a movie with one of the best twists in movie history.

I've only been there 3 times. Enjoyed all 3 masses, but the 3rd time was this past Tuesday. Only 6 of us were there. We all sat on the altar with the priest. It was special and I hope I never forget it. Thank you again Father!

I can only address the church’s architecture, which is very impressive. The central tower with spire is visible in the distance, and attracted me so that I walked to New Street for a closer examination.

Beautiful church, steeped in Augustinian imagery. A restful place in the midst of the city, which is fitting for the patron.

The best Parish I've ever been to. The Augustinian community is so warm and welcoming. The sermons by all the priests are great. The Church is beautiful. RCIA with Fr Bill is a wonderful experience.

Beautiful small church. Surprisingly found parking on a Thursday morning. We attended a funeral. The church was beautiful and its staff was attentive, caring and helpful.

Oldest Catholic Church in US . Has a big Filipino congregation so some things are not in English but interesting place to visit.

7PM Mass is the best. Come to the social afterwards and make friends with your fellow Catholics!

What an incredible place to be. Went into the church this evening for Ash Wednesday mass and felt like I was meant to be there. I have been part of the same parish for over 20 years, moved to Philly one month ago and was hoping I would find a place that felt like home. The music was stunning, the homily was easy to connect to and the parishioners were welcoming and friendly. I felt my mother’s presence calling to me when I saw the St Nicholas of Tolentine statue and knew I got this one right the minute I walked through the doors. The bonus was receiving confession after mass; feeling safe and emotionally and spiritually held by the priest was such a gift. I can’t wait to return on Sunday.

We got married at this church a month ago and it was the BEST decision that we made. To start, the church is absolutely beautiful and holds so much history. Jean Mangini, their wedding coordinator, is AMAZING. She made the entire process so smooth from start to finish and we are so grateful for her help. Father Jeremy was our officiant and made the ceremony so special and personal; we can't thank him enough. I am so so so grateful that we were able to get married here. This church will always hold such a special place in our hearts.

Thank you to our dearest Dr. RESTITUTO N. ESTACIO, who's one of the pioneers in putting the Sto.Niño on this church, on the map again! Viva, Sto. Niño! MABUHAY! ✌️👊🇵🇭

A majestic church, with an extremely welcoming Pastor (& literature), very easy access from B.Franklin Bridge as well as from I-95 & Center City. Their Chamber Choir is truly exceptional & could easily go professional -- & it's Musical Maestro, "Kim" is magnificently talented in his own right! The church has truly been welcoming of ALL people, regardless of belief, sexual orientation, abortion, "lapsed" attendance, or any other reason. They focus on loving everyone & judging no one. . . Truly the mission for all. ❤️

What a beautiful Catholic church in the old city by the water. When you walk inside, you are instantly transported to the life of St. Augustine with all the beautiful stained glass windows. We attended a daily mass with Fr. Keating, and it was quite a unique experience for sure! Beautiful mass.
