It's a ton of fun. Rides are legit 12+. Obviously, some kids rides as well, but so many thrill rides! Don't get the line skip unless it's vacation week. You can always add it if it's packed when you arrive on site. We got here 12pm when it opened, got through the whole place, rode every ride in 2 hours. Otherwise, plan something else for the day as well. It can't just be this place. I would recommend Nickelodeon Universe and American Dream Mall!

This place is great. An indoor, climate controlled theme park with a lot of the same experiences you would find at the larger outdoor parks. The lines weren't too bad the day we went. Usually no more than a 10 minute wait for most rides. There is a snack bar, but I only purchased water, so I can't comment on food. If you can stay for a good portion of the day the cost is in line with expectations.

Discover an excellent indoor amusement park suitable for all ages – a perfect winter retreat, especially for kids. With a variety of rides, including thrilling roller coasters, it's an ideal destination. What sets this park apart is its open-entry policy, allowing even non-riders without tickets to explore. While holiday visits may entail slightly longer wait times (typically 20-30 minutes), purchasing tickets online is a wise choice, despite the slightly steep pricing. Despite some rides undergoing maintenance, our overall experience, especially for the kids, was fantastic, making it a highly recommended visit. IG: journey_man16

It's a well designed and built theme park, connected to a beautiful mall (it's abog advantage to have everything indoors). We came on a Saturday two days before Xmas. It was not too crowded so the lines were not too long. The place was clean, there were adequate restrooms on both ends of the park. I can't rate it 5 stars because the price was too high, around $84 per person including tax, when buying online (it's $10 more when buying in person). That's too high compared with other amusement parks. It would be better to offer more options, like only 4 hours, or only 6 rides. We didn't have to buy tickets in advance, we bought on the phone when we arrived. I have to commend Nickelodeon for allowing people to enter and exit freely from the mall, so you only pay for those who go on the rides. And you can bring strollers, bags, food etc, which is convenient. Good experience overall, have fun :-)

Wonderful place to go with your children. There are lots of things to do to keep everyone busy and have fun under one roof. Eat and shop after having fun. I definitely recommend visiting here for a day with family or friends.

My family and I had an amazing time in Nickelodeon Universe and I can tell you I'm looking to go again in my next visit in Newark area. Is a good place were kids will have a lot of fun and even if they are toddlers. I have 2 daughters (6,8) and finally I found a place we're mi kids could have fun and have no problem in getting on in most attractions of the park. I went in the week (Thursday) and had no issues with the lines, most of them were empty.

This place is an oasis for children and adults. Had such an amazing time on Memorial day with my Son and my Mother!! Visited the Water Park, the Aquarium and Lego Land. Controlled temperature with a tropical vibe water park- Out of this world Lego Land and an Aquarium full of wonders. Very well organized, extremely efficient and kind staff, very well prepared, oh so busy ... be ready to wait in lines but worth every single second. Would love to go back for a birthday party.

Had an amazing time with my 7yo son at Nickelodeon Universe. All of the rides were spectacular and the staff was very friendly. The price was a bit high but worth it at the end since the lines weren't long for any of the rides even though we went on a weekend. My favorite ride was Kraang Pandemonium but my son's favorite ride was Shredder. I highly recommend you bring your kids and family to this place. It's amazing how they fit everything into this small area and whoever engineered this deserves an award. Definitely check this place out!

Had a blast here with my granddaughter Unique and her friend. Here for Unique 7th Birthday. Everything was good until I had to get out of line, run to the last ride the kids were on to get their hats we purchased. So when I came back to get on the ride with my granddaughter one of the employees said I can't cut the line. What he didn't know that we were already in the line, I had to leave and come back. But after explaining what happened my granddaughter felt like it's not worth the trouble explaining again, even though the people in front of us knew I was there. So now she doesn't want to come back here. Just know not to get out of the line and come back. So we decided not to get on the ride

After reading some of the previous reviews, I was pretty skeptical about taking my kids. Mostly because of the expensive tickets. After today’s visit, I can’t complain. My kids, ages 6 and 8, had the time of their lives. We went on a weekday so I’m guessing it was less people compared to the weekends. We didn’t have to wait in line for any of the rides. We went on some of the rides two times even. My kids were big enough to go on almost all the rides except the big roller coasters. It was a rainy day well spent. We got there at 11:30am and did not leave until 4pm. I was even able to enjoy some of the rides as well. It’s a great place for kids. I’d recommend this place for elementary school aged children.

It's a fantastic indoor amusement park. So many rids for all ages. During the winter time also you can enjoy the fun of adventure rides. This place is super cool for all ages. We also enjoyed the Pow Patrol and SpongeBob show.

The kids had an amazing time. The mall is huge so it was a little walk to get to the park. The line to get the entry bracelets moved quickly and it wasn't too crowded (Saturday Afternoon). The staff was pleasant, we were able to get on most of the rides, by the time we were ready for the ropes course it was temporarily closed. There was plenty of seating, bathrooms were easily accessible and the food stand was decent. The lines for the rides moved quickly. The only suggestion I would make for Nickelodeon Universe (including at Mall of America) is to try to include more rides/seating that is a little more fat friendly. I fall under the max weight for the rides I wanted to go on but the way my weight is distributed I had to get off a ride because the lap bar was unable to click 2x. It was extremely embarrassing for me to 1st hold up the ride while she was trying and then to have to get off the ride in front of the line. Definitely take the kids and the kids at heart.

My son and I come here often. He loves going on the rides and playing in the Paw Patrol kids area. Our latest visit to the “Boo-inverse” left me pretty disappointed. My son was very eager to meet one of his favorite characters, when I asked one of the workers for assistance he completely refused to assist with my sons request. This is supposed to be a fun happy place for children and their family. My son was pretty sad that he could not meet the character or take a picture. Instead we were told to take one from “far”. We came on the weekend where they advertised a Halloween event. Nothing that really took place other than the characters doing a quick parade. Not activities, no treats nothing exciting. I was looking forward to throwing his birthday party here but after being let down by the poor service I don’t believe we will be returning.

I had a great time at this amusement park and I was so surprised how big it was. The ride seem to be endless even when I thought I was getting down to the last four and found two more. I was sad to see that two of the biggest roller coasters weren’t running but I still had a great time regardless. Coming here for my birthday weekend was one of the best ideas I’ve had and I would come back anytime!

You can now buy individual points to ride rides. You don’t have to by an expensive all access pass. And if you don’t want to ride any rides but join family and friends that do, you can just walk in and sit down and relax and people watch. For an indoor theme park, the roller coasters are great. They also have a lot of fun activities for toddlers. Both kids and adults will enjoy. And on some rides you get an amazing view of the NYC skyline.

This place is great for a day full of fun, but it comes with a price if you do not plan it properly. I went on a Thursday totally unaware of the specific closing time (my bad), which is 5:30pm, which means that you only have 5 hours to really squeeze every once of fun inside, which depending on your plans, it could be more than enough, or not. They have attractions for all ages, from toddlers to grownups still trying to behave like kids, this place offers everything. My recommendations would be to buy your tickets ahead of time through the website, consider the time you have to check everything you are interested in, and buy the correct package for you. The all access pass is great if you are spending the whole day there, but if that’s not the case, you can customize your package by certain amount of points depending on the attractions you plan to ride, that way you can save money and time if you are a regular visitor. Overall I would definitely come back for sure.

We celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday at Nickelodeon Theme Park in American Dream, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The park provided a day filled with joy and laughter. Our visit began with a trip to the water park on a Friday, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was not crowded at all. With hardly anyone there, we practically had the water park to ourselves, allowing my daughter to freely explore and enjoy the attractions. It was the perfect way to kick off her birthday celebrations. The following day, we ventured into the amusement park, and although there were some wait times for the rides, none of them exceeded 15 minutes. Considering it was a Saturday, we were relieved that the lines were manageable and didn't detract from our overall enjoyment. The variety of rides catered well to my daughter's age group, ensuring she had a fantastic time. One highlight of our visit was the overhead train that traversed the entire park. While it did have a longer wait compared to other rides, the experience was well worth it. The park itself was clean, well-maintained, and staffed by friendly and helpful employees. The attention to detail in the Nickelodeon-themed decorations and the overall ambiance created an immersive and inviting atmosphere. Our visit to Nickelodeon Theme Park was a great success. It is on the pricey side, but it provided a memorable way to celebrate my daughter's birthday and left us with wonderful memories. The combination of a nearly empty water park and manageable ride wait times at the amusement park made for an enjoyable experience.

This amusement park was awesome!! There’s more than I thought you can do with a 6 year old and up! The roller coasters are definitely for a more adventurous kid!! Most of the big rides are 42” and up. If you go during the week there are less people for sure. The characters are adorable. You can go in and out of the park if you want to eat outside or shop inbetween. It is expensive but definitely worth it! I highly recommend this place!

This is a nice place to take the kids during a very hot summer day when outdoor amusement parks can be scorching hot. They definitely put a lot of thought into the architecture and design of the park. Given the price HOWEVER, it is a high especially considering the amount of rides and the fact that the water park isn’t even included in that price. You can definitely finish the entire park within a few hours. When I went, most rides for my child were completed but there are still many that are under construction (mostly the bigger rides). So to make the most out of your buck, better wait till it is completely finished. Charging around $60 per individual for a park that is VERY small, has unfinished rides, and stores still under construction is a great way to steal your money. Also we bought tickets for a particular date but had a family emergency that truly caused us to reschedule, and they still managed to charge extra money for a change of date despite the fact the park is farely empty during weekdays. I say this is a one time experience type of thing but it definitely wasn’t worth the price. It’s a place just to get cute pictures but with mediocre rides and overpriced tickets.

Its awesome that there is no entry fee but pricey doesn't even do justice the cost of this ultimate thrill park. $12 per ride $84 for all day pass. If you are looking for easy going rides this is NOT the park for you. EVERY RIDE looked insane. We did not wind up riding anything mostly due to the cost.

Thoroughly enjoyed this place. A bit pricey but totally under-rated. Barely any wait time for all rides. A few rides were closed for maintenence. So many rides still available to ride. Highly recommend. Definitely will be returning. Costs less during the week so will probably go on a weekday next time. MUST PURCHASE TICKETS ONLINE IN ADVANCE.

Pricey, but we had a lot of fun. Adults and kids need a wristband so if you have a little one you will need to ride most rides with them. It's really cute with a lot of the characters they recognize. And rides for different ages. Our 3 year old did a lot in an hour and our 1 year old mostly watched but was able to do a few. I only took off a star for price, because we spent about an hour there and for $55 each it's expensive. But the ticket online. You save $10.

Extremely fun indoor play place. They have amazing rides and roller-coasters. It had Nicelodeon memorabilia from the 90s to now. The only thing I didn't like was food prices, I felt it was overpriced for a lot of items. To avoid, get food in the mall. Other than that, everything was fine. Note: If you would like to explore the mall, please plan to visit on a separate day.

Had a very fun time. The rides were great and the park is very big considering it is indoors. Couple of rides were under maintenance but that was fine since the ones that were open easily made up for it.

This place is absolutely awesome. So many nice places to take pictures, colors are beautiful and vibrant. We loved being able to play arcade games. We were able to watch a show where some young adults came out and dance (wish they had more shows more often with more characters) or photo op sessions with characters would be super cool. The only downfall I'd say is that on a Saturday the cost is $80 per person to be able to ride the rides.. I'm sorry but for the average family of 4 spending $320 to go on a few rides seems unfair. You can go to a full theme park like six flags for the same price, if not less. I'm not sure how that makes sense, honestly. I think offering something like at $49 a person would make more sense. Aside from the price, I think it's a great place for families to spend the day and build memories which we definitely did. We just couldn't justify spending that much per person on a Saturday. I don't know what the prices are like outside of the weekends but if different or if based on a per point/ticket basis per ride on the weekdays, I would rather go on a weekday than a weekend.

It's definitely a good place to take the kids or grandkids. It's nice to go to the American Dream Mall and be able to get on Rollercoasters and have fun with kids. If you are thinking of going here I would walk around the place and check it out before buying the tickets just incase the kids rather go to the water park next door. Both places are a good spot to enjoy.

Unbelievable place, HUGE spacious amusement park! Me and my family truly enjoy themselves, my boys are 4,5,8 and they all had something to do and something there to enjoy themselves. I went on some rides and Ive been to 6 flags plenty of times and this place really has some grown up rides that even adults would enjoy riding! Food availability right inside the park without having to leave, very convenient. Very clean park and restrooms. Very safe atmosphere that everybody can just enjoy themselves to the fullest. Definitely coming back!

My son had a fun filled day here. He got to go on every ride he wanted and got to play in the playground area they had for kids. I love that you can take a break and come back later if you want to so you can grab some food or just take a break since it is very loud. The music is good but it is repeated over and over again. Be prepared to spend money or tell your kid no lol. Things are definitely pricey. The arcade was really pricey so we did not bother. Same with any other games you had to have a card and the credits cost a lot. It wasn't worth the money nor what tickets you got back. I could by the toy cheaper. I get it's the fun of it but pockets only run so deep and kids just can't have everything not at these prices. He had a blast though.

There are 16 rides total 8 for adults, 8 for little ones. There was only 1 place for food, and a few kiosks for snacks extremely expensive $3 for skittles etc... There were no bag checks which was a bit weird. Parking will be $30.00 in the future, and I would not go here when there's a game at the stadium because traffic would be a nightmare. We got there at 12pm, and the place opens at 10am it was packed, the wait in lines was approx 30-45 minutes take that into consideration when visiting with small children. The staff was very friendly, but seemed inexperienced and took forever to get people in and out of the rides which contributed to the wait. The bathrooms were clean, the place itself super clean, and the children enjoyed the characters, and the Paw patrol adventure Bay area. They also had a live slime show which was interesting. We will return on a weekday, at 10am so my children can enjoy the place without the mayhem .

We bought tickets online. Which worked better than buying them there. Also, remember that each different section is different prices. Also the food is very pricey. My grandson is five, and he had a blast. We're comfortable shoes it's definitely a lot of walking.

This place was amazing and staff was friendly. Today there were no lines, we got on everything like 3, 4 times which was way more then enough. There was something to do for all ages. We were in a group of 11 with 3 kids, 2 yrs, 5 yrs and 9 yrs old and everyone enjoyed their time. We are planning to come back to check out the water park next.

Somewhat overpriced but everyone had a great time. Sunday morning at open, really no one was there but it was 5x more crowded by 4:00pm and after. We did a lot of rides in Disney world recently at just 45" tall but here for some weird reason they would only allow 48" and over. Also no clear disclosure of who is an eligible companion when you purchase passes but once we got in, they said it should be someone 14 or older to accompany kids under 48" inches. Pricing strategy and customer service makes me rate this lower at 3 stars.

My 13 year old had a good time, and was able to do pretty much everything they offer in one day. Only downside is the price of the tickets are high and two of the best rides were closed for maintenance. However, they do post ride closures on their website ahead of time as a heads up. Wish they had more games in the arcade. Make sure to buy your tickets online and save $10 off gate price.

My son loves nickelodeon amusement park, the lines are huges, and you have to wait a reasonable amount of time, but it is worth it. Everything within the mall is so clean and beautiful 😍, there are stores and food kiosks everywhere. If you buy your tickets online, you will save 12$ and a waiting time. Also, I do not recommend buying the dream pass for both the pool and the nickelodeon because you won't fully enjoy it then.

What a great park inside of the American dream Mall. The staff were all super professional and very friendly. The quality of the rides was amazing and now what you would expect for something inside of a mall. The sight lines and the colors are all very bright and super visual and this is just a really fun place. During the weekdays it doesn't seem like you need more than a few hours to hit all the rides but you could easily spend the whole day here just having fun. Definitely worth the entry price and if you're close by you should definitely check this out.

Lovely place for the whole family to have fun. Lots of kids rides and roller coasters. You can buy tickets online and liked the option to buy a point pass instead of full day admissions ticket specially if your time is tight. Staff are friendly and queue is tolerated. Restrooms are clean.

Best to visit with young kids...or older! Great place for entire family. Clean, AC running, not the usual heated sun making you tired...none of that! Best amusement park in the heated summer. Not too big or small. Can take all the rides within 3 hours. 1 star taken of off for rides that needed constant upkeep ....not all rides are available at any given time. Its annoying. Tickets doubled on weekends....too pricey. Short wait times.

We had a blast here. There are so many rides for all ages. The staff was super nice and they were cleaning the place constantly. There was live entertainment throughout the afternoon even when the park was not too packed. We were able to leave for lunch at the mall and come back for some more fun. Highly recommend it for families with little ones.

This is a great place to bring your kids. I just wish the admission for kids 36"-46" were cheaper, or adults can supervise their kids for free. Great but very short rides. That's why buying the all-inclusive admittance is a great choice. My kids ride several times on each attraction because it wasn't enough time for them. Great selection of souvenirs and toys, but balloons for $21 are kind of too much. Paw patrol playground is really fun.

This place was great!!! My daughter loves it. The staff is cool lol not overly friendly yet far from rude. That was kinda refreshing to be honest. She got to meet Chase (her favorite Paw Patrol Pup) and enjoyed the arcade... There were actually rides she could've gotten on that was "too scarey" for HER, so there is a nice mix of rides from casual to thrilling for her size ( just under 4 feet).

My son is 3 and had such a great time!! My only complaint is that they are very strict with the actors in the costumes and when they close the line they close the line and there's nothing else to it which led to a big fit with quite a few kids. I understand that they do need to cut it off at some point. But I really wish they had a schedule or something that I could follow to make sure that my son got to see the characters he wanted. Other than that it was tons of fun.

My family had a great time!! We rented the cabana which was great we had a 15 yo / 8 yo / 9 yo they all enjoyed and said they would go back. Place is expensive but if you can bite the bullet the kids will have a awesome time. We went on a Monday wasn’t crowded at all but place is huge so you can section off. My husband even enjoyed so it was a win for a family activity. Oh food delivery from the cabana is horrible and some of the staff members where rude and unhelpful.!!! They pick your food up from selected restaurant they work with. Problem is ordering seems to have glitches and by time we got our orders food was cold. This area Kalahari has them beat love their cabana service. Also a nice strawberry daiquiri would be nice🍹

It was a great experiemce for the family the park, i will recommend more for kids over 48", since my daughter is just 43 we missed out in many of the rides. But is ok too if you want to take you little ones for an amazing adventure with their nickelodeon characters.

Very expensive but still enjoyable. Strange mix of very young rides and a handful of crazy hardcore ones. We are big coaster fans but first time I've ever refused to re-ride after the pain caused by Shellraiser. It's a very impressive combined gravity and launch coaster with an amazing view before the bit drop but it's so aggressive it made my whole body hurt. I now understand why there was absolutely no queue and we walked straight into front-row seats. Ride it at your own peril!

My kids my self and my husband loved the whole park. A few rides were closed but the park was awesome. We had a lot of fun. Our kids ages are 8-12-16-22 and us parents late 30's and mid 40's we were able to get on all the rides. I recommend going during the week. There was hardly ANY lines. We waited about 2-5 mins. The park was worth it honestly.

While many rides were closed and they are somewhat tame, it is indeed impressive for an indoor theme park venue, attached to a colossal and utterly empty mall, devoid of life. There is much to do in the mall, and it is very well done. But there is no one here. Except for the bored staff. On weekends, it's packed, but you can not operate, so it's colossal a venue twice a week. The other five days will eventually bankrupt them. Again.

This place can either be so much fun and thrilling, or tiring and boring depending on when you come. I recommend to be super early to try to get on all the rides or popular ones (and even get on by yourself!) If you come late, you can spend HOURS in line. Besides being late or early, the theme park is very nice and fun! They have rides for ages, but most of them require you to be a certain hight, so most of the rides are 8+ I would say. So we purchased a Day Pass for Tuesday September 26. This indoor theme is big for an indoor amusement park. The rides were fun and pretty extreme, I would have given it 5 stars, but unfortunately 3 rides were out of service, after paying for a Day Pass, we felt a bit cheated. Won't do it again.

Amazing place to spend the afternoon! Rides are like I’ve never seen before! So original! Fun for adults or kids! We came without kids and had a blast!

We went on during the holidays and it was a very nice experience for the kiddos. They especially the shows and parade that they had organizes as well as the meet and greet. It's also really nice that it's inside the mall since you can also do any last minute shopping you may need. We had a great time and spent the whole day at the park
