I had a very weird side effect from Covid that I lost my voice and could not speak for over month. After doing some research I found out acupuncture could help this condition. So I went to Old Bridge they took me immediately. It was my first experience with acupuncture so I was skeptical. After a few sessions my voice started to return and is now 100% back. All I can say is I am grateful for Dr Greg!! Him and the staff are great. I highly recommend Old Bridge Acupuncture.

Best acupuncturist in the state! Dr. Carey listens to your concerns and really cares about his patients. I wish I had started treating with him earlier than I did because he has helped me so much more than the 5 months of physical therapy that I tried. Excellent practice, love coming here! I started coming to the practice well over a year ago dealing with infertility and severe migraines. I am now expecting my first child & my headaches are gone! Dr. Carey has supported me during my entire pregnancy and I only have had an overly positive experience! Dr. Carey is very caring and invested in his patients, Liz at the front desk is the best, I highly recommend this practice and will continue to visit this practice for a long time! In February of 2022, I began experiencing a debilitating pain in my knees and my back. The pain was so intense it kept me from completing my regular routine (going to the gym, getting groceries, doing the dishes, etc.). I knew I needed relief quickly but I so terribly wanted to stray away from any surgery, medications, etc. I heard about Greg from my family members who swore by his practice. I decided to give it a chance and booked my consultation. After the consultation I decided to book my visits to begin my healing journey. I noticed an immense difference within the first few visits. I can honestly say that Greg has changed my life. I genuinely thought I was not going to be able to enjoy life again without feeling pain, but that was not the case. Without realizing, I was getting better and better and getting back to my normal routine. The staff including Saundra and Vanessa, are so genuine and caring towards all patients. The area is very well kept and is a welcoming environment. I would recommend anyone to take a visit to Greg!

I had a really good experience at OB Acupuncture. I was struggling with an issue for a few years and have been to many different doctors, urgent care, and other acupuncturists with no relief. Dr. Carey was able to successfully diagnose my issue within a few minutes and created a successful treatment plan. The office is clean and organized, efficient staff, and no wait times. I am extremely grateful to have found Dr. Carey and team, I feel so much better now!

Today I had a consultation with Greg. Upon making my appointment I explained to the receptionist my busy schedule and that Wed. would be my only availability. My previous acupuncturist I worked with had to suddenly move out of country so I am looking for a new office. From the moment I met Greg it was awkward, uncomfortable and lacking in personal interaction. I immediately felt like I wanted to leave yet thought maybe he is great at what his does. In the end, he questioned me many times about my work schedule and why I could not make time to leave work during my work day 3 days Mon-Thurs during his hours. Had I known he would not see a client 1 day a week I would not have come in. Upon reached out to other acupuncturist in area it was uncommon to turn away clients for not being able to commit to rigorous scheduling Greg would like you to commit to. Being that I only went 1 other place that I loved and restored me to health beyond my expectations I had no idea what to expect elsewhere . There are other well regarded facilities that will not judge you for work schedule and work within reason. As a business owner I would not have anticipated being turned away or judged for not being able to leave work at a exact time. I work in commission sales position and Greg still could not understand how or why I could not commit. Again over all very uncomfortable.

The entire office was so kind with the entire experience. He actually tries to get to know you as a whole person and was very knowledgeable and honest with what he could help me with. I’ve only had two sessions but so far my experience has been very positive.

I can't express how great Gregory Carey is at what he does! While I was going through chemotherapy for Hodgkin Lymphoma, one of the side effects was neuropathy. My oncologist recommended acupuncture and I'm extremely fortunate that Gregory came up in my search for relief. A true professional who is a master at what he does. His office staff was extremely personable and professional as was he. I would feel neuropathy in my fingers and toes and Gregory knew exactly what to do to lessen those effects tremendously. I think the neuropathy would have been greater had I not utilized acupuncture between chemo treatments. I'm extremely happy to say that almost 2 years from my last treatment, and I don't feel any neuropathy effects at all. I believe that his work healed me. I'm not a fan of needles at all, but he made the experience enjoyable and extremely relaxing. I'm beyond grateful for him and would definitely utilize his services in the future as he treats many conditions. Thank you Gregory!!!!!!

I came to Dr. Carey for help with CPPS (aka nonbacterial prostatitis) after hitting a dead end with mainstream medicine. When I came in, it was too painful to even sit or wear pants without popping pain meds. Every single aspect of my life was impacted by the terrible pain. After the first few acupuncture treatments, I felt improvement and completely stopped taking pain meds. Acupuncture helped to calm me down enough to listen to what my body needs rather than cover up the pain. After a few months of acupuncture and exercises, I was 95%+ cured and pain is the exception rather than the norm. I haven't taken pain meds in 6 months and very satisfied with where I'm at now. Thank you Dr Carey, Liz, Saundra and Vanessa for bringing me back to life!

Dr. Carey is amazing! I went to see Dr. Carey because my brother-in-law raved about how he helped him with his frozen shoulder. I had the exact same condition and I was struggling to even put my seat belt on because of the pain and discomfort. My physician had recommended physical therapy or perhaps surgery down the road. When I met Dr. Carey, he was confident that he could treat my condition successfully. I saw Dr. Carey over 7 visits in a 3 month period and the improvement each time was significant. He is an extremely knowledgeable acupuncture practitioner. He is kind and reassuring and always listened carefully to address my concerns. Also his staff is wonderful and always made me very comfortable while checking in at the front. One other thing I'll note is I never had to wait once I arrived. Scheduling is precise. Each time I showed up on time, I was taken right inside to see Dr. Carey. I am now back to my gym exercising, playing tennis, and running around doing things with my family. My shoulder is as good as new! I am very thankful for the wonderful care by Dr. Carey and his staff.

Amazing! If you have pain, chronic or acute you will get relief. Greg is the best there is for acupuncture. I’ve seen him over the years for many different things, and won’t go anywhere else. Most recently he’s treated my sciatic. The results were so good after one treatment alone I could cry! Acupuncture has been a miracle worker for me for the past 7 years. Office is clean and staff is great. I’m always taken on time, Old Bridge Acupuncture is the place to go!!

Recommended this place to my sister based off the reviews. She was highly satisfied with Dr. Gregory treatment. Months after the treatment she still seeing the efforts of acupuncture. I also just started seeing Dr. Gregory myself and I’m currently doing treatment. Dr. Gregory has great front staff with great energy. And I feeling great results from the few visits. I am a person not so great with needles but Dr. Gregory does such wonderful work and it’s painless.

Dr. Carey is a great doctor! He’s very understanding and listens to your concerns. He takes time with the patient to help them with their health issues! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an acupuncturist. My husband turned to acupuncture after back pain with no relief from medication or physical therapy. Greg Carey is great! I came in with neck pain from a herniated disc that had been persisting for months and he had me feeling better after just one visit. I’m only about halfway through my sessions and feel significantly better than when we started. Recommending acupuncture here to everyone.

I have struggled with migraines for 10 years and after countless years of feeling no relief from prescribed medications etc., I was finally able to have some semblance of hope for migraine treatment/prevention. Dr. Carey truly listens to your concerns and cares about his patients. He has helped my condition more within the last few months than any doctor or neurologist has in the last 10 years. The facility's director, Greg Carey, leaves on Union County posts about Covid-19 and various mitigations, it does not seem like he takes the virus at all seriously. I would be very cautious about any interactions with him or the clinic. Looks like he is an anti-vaxxer and does not have a social responsibility. His behavior is selfish and only cares about himself. These people are the reason cause the pandemic continues and more people will die. The mask-wearing is not mandatory in this office and will put his patient at high risk. I question the acupuncture board still allowing an unvaccinated practitioner practice during this time.

Dr. Carey and his staff are fantastic! I've been a patient for roughly 5 months and it has been live changing. Dr. Carey listens to all your concerns and really works with you to improve your overall health. For any skeptics of acupuncture or people who do not want to always rely on addictive medicine, do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment and you will not regret it!

When I first entered Greg Carey's office, I was a mess. I had been struggling with fibroids and an overall feeling of exhaustion. He listened carefully to my concerns, unlike the many doctors that I had visited previously. His patience and gentle care is absolutely wonderful! The first thing that you'll find is a super friendly staff, they did the above and beyond to accommodate my tight schedule. Greg is a remarkable acupuncturist and he helped me greatly to overcome a terrible sciatica pain. From the visits at Old Bridge Acupuncture it is easy to remember how I've been treated, and after that the pain is forgotten.
